It genuinely brought back childhood memories--the kind you don't realize you miss until something suddenly takes you back there. The potato salad had sweet undertones to it and had some peas and corn in it. I enjoyed this unconventional version. My husband liked the rice and peas, even though it was on the dry side. The peas were actually pigeon peas, which we both liked. My husband was pleasantly surprised by the food and said if this truck comes by again, he would gladly order from them. I, too, agree but now know to add the pineapple sauce to my chicken.
