Someone referred me to RPPM and I called them kind of skeptical bc I've had bad experiences before with management companies that just take your money and don't really do much. But these guys are different. John was straight with me from the jump, explained everything they do, didn't oversell it. They handled some violation issues I had pending and I didn't have to stress about it. Communications with my tenants have been way more professional than when I was doing it myself lol. I used to just text my tenants which I know is not the right way to do it. Only thing I'd say is sometimes I wish they responded a little faster but honestly when they do get back to me everything is thorough and correct so I think its just they are busy and doing things right rather then rushing. Not really a complaint just something I noticed. Overall very happy. Would def recommend to other landlords in NJ especially if your portfolio is growing and you cant manage everything yourself anymore. 5 stars from me

My roommates and I spent hours cleaning the apartment prior to vacating it per the specifications on the lease. We returned the apartment in better condition than we received it and were still charged $250 for a cleaning service and $50 for light bulbs which were out when we moved in. Rent from local apartment owners and don't give a dime to capstone.

It was my first year in NYC, and I didn't know any better. So I moved into one of their newly renovated units in the same building, still cheap, but just barely over the threshold to be rent controlled. 2 years later, and my lease renewal just said they want to increase my rent by another 38%. The "renovations" they make to apartments are the cheapest you can imagine. Holes were left in our walls, the dishwasher was not installed correctly, nor was the kitchen sink. Mice entered the apartment through the spaces left open in the walls behind the new cabinetry. Treetop would not give us the phone number of our super, saying that if we needed something we should call the office and they would call him. Their office hours were 9am-1pm. What a joke. And they seemed to nice at first.
