We have to give a special shout-out to our server, Jenny. She was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. When we asked for hot water, she even added fresh lemon for us. She also recommended the crab salad and pork katsu, and both were delicious. With service this considerate, we'll definitely be back! Highly recommended. read more

So it is very clean on the inside an easy layout. The decor is modern and fun. When we entered the service started a little rocky. We were greeted at the door but it was not the warmest greeting I must admit. So we were seated and the waitress snipped at my niece & nephew. We were taken aback, we contemplated leaving but my sister really wanted to try this place out so we stayed. My sister did order the shrimp tempura appetizer and it was very fresh and delicious. The miso soup was ok. Before ordering the green salad I had specifically asked if they used iceberg lettuce and the waitress stated it's "lettuce" I expanded and asked was it Romaine or mixed greens ... she again responded that it was lettuce. As the salad arrived it was in fact iceberg, which had I known I would not have ordered but I digress. The dressing on the salad wasn't bad but it had a strange texture. I didn't send it back but I did not finish it. The sushi was fresh but it wasn't the most enjoyable meal for me. I do not know if I would return , but the server at the end of the meal turned the service portion around and was attentive for the remainder of the meal. read more

Food was good. Service was quick and the hostess was kind. It's very clean and quiet inside.

Great place for Japanese and/or Chinese food. The food is absolutely delicious there and the owners are the nicest people!!

Great Customer service. Very attentive. The food is delicious, everything we ordered was fresh and great. Overall we loved it would definitely be back. read more

This is a cute, clean, Asian restaurant offering Japanese, Chinese & Korean cuisine. I had a delicious Korean and Spicy Chicken Salad. My date had the teriyaki salmon. A tasty dish but a bit overcooked.. Our service was pleasant and efficient. We plan to revisit and sample a few more dishes. Stay tuned! read more

While Emoji is still good - it's not as great as it was when it first opened. The service has changed dramatically. There have been quite a few times when I've dined in, with different people, and the server has literally hovered over our table after we've finished eating (once, it was actually while we were still eating) to get us to leave. The restaurant was never crowded at any of these times, and we had only been there for 30-45 minutes. The sushi is still mostly quite good. My daughter ordered the kids noodles the last time we were there and they tasted disgusting, and were swimming in oil. Hopefully, things will turn back around. read more

The prices and the quantity of food are great. The general tsos chicken is a large platter with a side of rice and miso soup. The spicy tuna could've been a bit spicier but that might be a personal preference. read more

Came here with friends for lunch and I'm really happy with the service. Wait staff are very friendly and polite. Food presentation was superb. Sushi rolls were freshly prepared. The timing between our appetizers, soup and salad, and sushi was perfect. I also love the atmosphere in here. They play Japanese music in the background. Very clean restaurant. We'll come back soon! read more

This place is getting the 5 stars it deserves! Emoji is fairly new to the Abington area, and I always drive by so I thought I'd give it a shot last night. The first thing that caught my eye upon entering was how absolutely spotless and modern it was. The wait staff and the host promptly greeted us and we were seated immediately. No issues whatsoever with parking. I did see several folks pop in for take-out so I suppose that's why parking was available. Food came out quick! I got the White Tuna Avocado roll and Sweet Potato roll and both rolls tasted so fresh, I didn't even need soy sauce. There were some great selections on the menu, and I can't wait to try other rolls. This will probably be our go-to for sushi from now on. It's about a 15-20 minute drive but totally worth it for the quality of food! read more

My daughter and I love sushi, so of course we had to try out Emoji as it's in the area. The restaurant is beautiful on the inside, and has many screens showing you pictures of their delicious foods. Their menu is quite big, we had a hard time choosing what to get. I settled on their volcano salad, while my daughter ordered their rainbow roll and fried calamari. My salad was delicious, I recommend this if you're in a very fishy mood. The waitresses were very kind and quick, and of course we enjoyed watching the chefs prepare her sushi. Overall I recommend Emoji, the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you receive and we enjoyed our visit. read more

To me, this is one of those I would try it once and probably never want to go back again type of restaurant. Price was not cheap, on the high average range. Quality of the food was not great either. Service was not superb. I heard about this place and bookmarked to try for a little while already. And since I am heading to a direction that pass by here, so might as well do a quick lunch here with my family. Look of the food seems not bad but the quality is just on the low average. The sushi roll definitely below average because it's not even tight and half broken or loose. I believe there are better Japanese restaurants around. read more

Dined in today for lunch. I'm more if a to-go person but they offer BOGO if you dine in. I got shrimp tempura and shrimp and cucumber. Both were pretty good and the prices were perfect! Delicious - good deal on the sushi Bogo deal. Son had noodles which were good too. Service was good kept refilling waters and it was clean.

Good food 8/10 filling Service 0/10 I'll be real I ordered a whole meal on Uber eats customer service who ever answers the phone... complete a**holes I ordered Soy sauce & paid for it, did I get the soy sauce I asked for on Uber Eats? No I didn't. And had to order soy sauce from a separate store I'm actually angry. Ambiance : I've never been to the actual restaurant. Uber Eats & Customer Service is terrible DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY (Uber Eats / DoorDash) THEYRE TERRIBLE & FORGETFUL! read more

I ordered my usual sushi order, spicy tuna maki. It was just OK. I have gotten better spicy tuna Maki from supermarkets in the area. The service was spotty. We had to look for our server so we could pay the bill. Very disappointing. My husband was less than thrilled with his chicken teriyaki, he said it must've been parakeet not chicken. read more

My wife has been trying to get me to try this place for months. Today I finally said yes and I wish I would've said yes months ago. Have spent a lot of time in both Japan and Korea, I've become somewhat of a snob when it comes to these cuisines. I also don't tend to eat sushi this far from the ocean. However, this place is ON POINT! Customer service, 10/10. Menu options, 10/10. Flavor, 10/10. Textures, 10/10. Ambience, 8/10. Likelihood I'll become a frequent patron? 100/10!!! read more

Emoji Sushi & Teriyaki - Korean pork shoulder ramen, spicy chicken, pork dumplings, spicy crab roll, and shrimp tempura roll with eel sauce and spicy mayo. - Sushi Bars Near Me - Abington, Pennsylvania

Overall, Emoji Sushi & Teriyaki was an awesome experience! My family placed quite a large (takeout) order and I was impressed that everything arrived as ordered and prepared sooner than the time we requested for pickup. They're definitely organized there! The sushi rolls are large and in charge! Definitely worth every penny as they pack those sheets of seaweed to the gills (pun intended). My fiancé and I tried 4 rolls: spicy salmon, the fantasy roll, the April roll, and the spicy lady roll. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there was an odd taste that I noticed with all the rolls. It wasn't necessarily a bad taste just an off putting taste that I was not used to. No points deducted as the rest of the experience was very positive. While we don't live nearby, I would certainly give it a second shot! read more

We came on a Saturday night (6pm) and got a table right away. We got sushi, seaweed salad, and miso soup. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. My husbands favorite is the "emoji roll." My favorite is the "lobster salad roll." Our son got a three fish roll, and Philadelphia roll, and our friend got a Spicy lady roll. The waitstaff is friendly and the chefs are fast. It looks like a very busy location with many take out orders. But they are very fast with serving food. read more

Two stars because it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. I ordered through Door Dash. My order was picked up and out the door in about 10 minutes. I got the Two Roll Special. I got a shrimp tempora roll and tuna roll. They were both flavorless and disappointing, to say the least. The rolls were a decent size, but I've never had sushi this underwhelming before. I was shocked because they have some good reviews, which now makes me question my fellow yelpers..lol...I also had the Kani Salad, which was bland as well. The best part was the green salad and ginger dressing that came with the 2 roll special... Uggg.. read more

The food here never disappoints! This is my top sushi place to go to- the food is ALWAYS hot, fresh and on point. Everything is super affordable, and the sushi is always made perfectly. Anytime I come here, the service is top notch! The waitresses are very attentive, and always make sure that everything is just the way the customer likes. The atmosphere is great too. It's beautifully decorated, clean, tidy, and perfect for dining in! I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for something new, fresh, and affordable! read more

The price is not justified for the food quality. It is way too overpriced. Bought the ramen and it was straight out of a convince store. A small rice bowl costed 3$. The service was alright but it felt very rushed and dull. While we were having good time at the end one of the waiters came up and rushed us to pay. The place itself was clean and a nice vibe. Would not come here again, everything costed way too much. If you want the same ramen that they served us you can go to a 7/11. Spare the money and time there are better places. read more

Went there for an all you can eat offer that was posted on Instagram. They had apparently discontinued it after only 1 evening. Decided to eat there anyway since we were already there. My wife ordered two of their sushi rolls. Both of them were mushy and didn't taste very good. The lobster salad roll she got was bland. I ordered the special bogo Korean chicken fingers spicy. They are not spicy at all it tasted like sweet and sour sauce poured over overcooked chicken fingers. read more

Ordered Emoji Sushi tonight for takeout and I am blown away with how great it was!!!! I ordered off the website which was really easy and didn't require you to enter all your card info-you can just select to pay in store. Initially the site said it would be ready in 25 minutes, but I got a text saying it was ready in less than 10 minutes. I ordered the spicy lady roll, the spicy salmon roll, a garden salad, and a miso soup. The salad and the soup were top notch, but the sushi was the part that I was really impressed by. It was so fresh and delicious!!! I really loved that spicy lady roll, and I order a spicy salmon roll everywhere-so with this one being so good, it's easy to tell it's a great place. I'm so excited to have discovered this gem of a spot. On another note, when I picked up the food, the restaurant was beautifully decorated and super clean. I am looking forward to actually dining in next time. Highly recommend!! read more
