Minced pork ramen- excellent. I would absolutely get this again. We shared it and still had some to take home.

Spectacular restaurant in a fairly unassuming exterior. Don't pass it by based on the building. Inside you'll find very attentive and friendly staff. The menu is really extensive. It was really hard to pick. We ended up getting two rolls and sharing the pork ramen. Big mama roll with the peppered tuna on top was fantastic! And we got dynamite lobster roll that was good. There were so so many to pick from. It was hard. The ramen was excellent. Flavorful and very large. We shared it and still had plenty to take home. Oh also got taro tea and Thai tea. Very good!

Nice looking very open/airy restaurant with 3 different dining rooms on the first floor plus a separate enclosed one for private parties. The small staff was very efficient and friendly. Very large menu, enough that a couple more visits would be needed to sample just a portion. There were 3 of us and we started out with Takayuki - fried octopus balls topped with house made sauce and bonito flakes. The heat from the dish made it look as though the bonito flakes were waving at us! A unique and delicious start to our meal. We also shared the Street Fries which were flat fries with Chashu-marinated pork, spicy aioli sauce, fried onions and scallions. Very very good. We each tried a different Ramen. Tonkotsu - Seafood - and Kimchee. All were delicious and large enough to take home for a light lunch the next day. We brought along beer to have with our meal. Will definitely be coming back.

Tonight I enjoyed ramen for the second time in my life. This time around was much more memorable than my first. We drove by here the other day and peeped the "grand opening" sign. It intrigued us so much we decided to stop in for dinner today. Ichiro stands where the former Blue Sage used to be, and it's a perfect location being only 20 mins from where we live. I noticed how very spacious, clean and open it was when we walked in. The hostess gave us a friendly welcome and allowed us to select one of two tables. It's great to be able to choose between ramen and sushi, but we didn't want to choose so we got both! We ordered the Godzilla roll to share. This deep fried roll (not pictured) was warm and soft. Not as crispy as I expected but packed with flavor. If we hadn't gotten ramen, we would have ordered more sushi rolls. When the ramen arrived, our hostess came over and let us know there was chili oil on the table if we wanted to add extra spice to our noodles. She recommended starting small and adding more if needed. I put about two drops in my Vegan Shoyu ramen and that was the perfect amount for me. I enjoyed the broth and fresh veggies mixed in. The only thing I didn't love were the pieces of ginger in the bowl - I could have done without that. The other ingredients meshed really well together. All in all, a super comforting meal. The entire staff was so sweet and kind. The hostess asked where we had heard about them and talked to us for a little after we finished eating. I would come back for the service alone! The food was 10/10 though. I highly recommend Ichiro if you don't want to travel to Center City for decent ramen.

Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen (~32oz bowl with 16oz broth)

The food here is really good. I've had Miso Ramen, Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, and Spicy Miso Ramen. Everything has been above average compared to similar restaurants in the area. The portions are good for the price compared to other ramen restaurants in the burbs. Most entree size dishes at area Asian restaurants leave me hungry and wanting appetizers, but one bowl of Ichiro Ramen fills me up! There were a few hiccups with the wait/service the first few weeks they were open, but they fixed these. The last time I ordered takeout, it was ready before the estimated time listed on the website.

Saw that this place opened not that long ago, so I decided to try it out with my family. Walking in you're greeted to the modern and refreshed interior. The worker behind the front counter welcomed us and seated us promptly. Now I really enjoy Japanese food, but this was my first time having Ramen. I gotta say that it was absolutely delicious. I had the Out of Control roll to start and the Tan Tan Ramen for my main meal. The food was so fresh and flavorful. Service was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place!

It's ok. At least they are trying to give you ramen that isn't instant, however it's far from the good stuff in Japan.

I ordered the Akamaru Modern Ramen, the BBQ short rib plate, and the mango shaved ice everything was absolutely delicious. The short ribs were incredibly tender and flavorful, paired perfectly with rice and their macaroni salad, which is surprisingly SO good because I normally don't even like macaroni salad from restaurants. The ramen was rich, comforting, and full of flavor as always. The mango shaved ice was refreshing and came topped with popping mango pearls and mochi, which made it even better. The ambiance is nice bright and decorative. Clean. The service is always great, and Jimmy always remembers me and is so welcoming every time I come in. The ladies in the front are pleasant and everyone teams up to ensure you have a pleasant dining experience. Everybody I've brought here ends up loving this place too. My total was about $55, and since I paid cash, I even got a little discount, which was a nice bonus. Definitely one of my favorite spots! If you go, I hope you enjoy it like I do.

Worth reconsidering this place…read more We just reached out to place a large order because we love the food so much. We frequently order from here but wanted to try something new. When we called in to confirm that the Udon noodles do NOT have egg (as we have a child with an egg allergy), the woman taking our order curtly said "I threw out the box, it's white, you have to look for yourself." When we mentioned we do not know the brand to look, she replied "me neither, I threw out the box." Needless to say - the food is great, but honestly, the family owned business officially sucks. There's a way to respond to things and that just isn't it. Especially as someone taking orders. So thank you for ending this streak for us. The crap service made it easy to make this place a 1 star.

And that's a good thing because competition for tables is already stiff. Get a reservation (you have to call) or be ready to wait in line. The decor is excellent. Not fancy by any means, but FUN. It's like someone raided an Otaku gift shop. There are toys, t-shirts, and a zillion things to delight and catch your eye. Tables are separated by bamboo screens, so each is lovely and private-ish. Service is solid, and the staff have a lot to keep up with. Be patient. But let's talk about the food! I have eaten a lot of sushi in my life and I am not kidding when I say this is some of the best. Everything was incredibly fresh and tasted like it had been out of the ocean for mere moments. We had pork-wasabi shumai and the hamachi jalapeno for appetizers and both were fantastic--the hamachi was probably my favorite thing across the board. We also shared a Sushi deluxe dinner, as well as a Musashi and a Tuna roll (I cannot remember what they called it but it was belly tuna and spicy tuna together and it was to die for). Everything was perfect; I have nothing negative at all to say. 10/10, no notes. So if you find yourself near Bensalem, get yourself there. You will NOT be disappointed.

Gracious server! The music was adorable "Japanese city pop…read more" style. I enjoyed the salmon bento. It came with a salad ginger dressing. I did take half of it home. Absolutely delicious and fresh! My bff got the gyoza and tonkatsu ramen and was thrilled about the flavor. They have a seriously loyal customer base. I was happy to try it tonight! I am very grateful to the hard-working staff that took care of us tonight and prepared such a lovely food and gave such nice service. I would write a song about it on my ukelele about the quirky preciousness of the waitress and decor and music and Japanese knicknacks... but the food was quite lovely. Parking was easy to find, the lot is shared with the rest of the small strip mall anchored by a CVS. The young lady who took my order over the phone also greeted me when I entered. She was so nice, helpful and detailed when explaining the menu. The inside of the restaurant appeared clean and welcoming for dining in. They offer chilled and room temperature Chinese flavored waters, Japanese marble sodas, Thai tea, soda and sparkling water. My wife and kids wanted Chicken Teriyaki $10.75 - the lunch portion came with veggies and rice. The portion was small, but they all enjoyed the flavors and said the chicken was fresh. I had ordered the Shoyu Ramen (Chashu pork) Corn, nori, boiled egg, kikurage and scallion at $14.75. The noodles were a big glob and had to be broken up. The broth was spicy, delicious and made up for the noodles. The pork was two thinly sliced medallions that were juicy and flavorful. I made three bowls of soup with the portion, so it was plenty for a second/third meal. I also ordered the Yummy Yummy Roll off the special roll menu $14.75 - Shrimp tempura, cream cheese, avocado, salmon, eel sauce, spicy mayo & tobiko. It didn't hold together well and was ok/good. I would try another roll if I return. Their menu is pretty extensive with Japanese offerings of soups, salad, yakitori, sushi/sashimi, gyoza, hibachi meals, bento box meals, udon, ramen, etc. If I have a return trip I would eat in if having ramen, but the take out experience was good. I'll say it again the young lady working there was patient and an absolute pleasure to deal with! Thanks guys!

Sitting right next door to Pho Palace on Bustleton Avenue in the far Northeast in Philadelphia,…read moreYaudim Dim Sum & Noodle is a small modern semi fast food Chinese kitchen that models itself as a quick dim sum (small bowl) house where you order at the cashier from the large laminated menu on the counter the most popular traditional plates, and then sit at a table until the order taker/chef/server brings your food to you on plastic trays. All that would be fine if you don't miss the old ladies with their pushcarts hawking their goodies at your table. I sort of did miss them as they are what I remember most fondly about those enormous meals around a large round table with family and friends that I enjoyed growing up. But, this is certainly not that, and therein lies the difference of having a totally enjoyable experience vs a fast food version without any cultural entertainment value. Without that, the food was just not as tasty and fun. The Xiao Long Bao skin was too thick and chewy, although the pork infused hot soup within was decent. Similarly, the sui mai and shrimp dumplings had better texture outside, but tiny shrimp within. The glutinous rice rolls had a pleasant light soy sauce and right textured wrap, but small shrimp in both size and number. The best we had was the potato croquette (crunchy outside, hot and grated tato within). The room was all blond wood and large traditional Chinese kitchen mural on the wall. Service was efficient. Prices were about right given the recent restaurant inflation. For my three stars I would rather return to the enrapture of the old ladies and their carts.
