Once my "Greek Goddess" meal was burnt, the next time I placed an order online and was set to pic it up and my Oder was canceled because they closed early. Last night ( 9/21/26) my husband and I decided to try again and go eat there but I did call first to see if that was even an option. There was a definite language barrier. Once we got there, I had questions... that was a joke trying to get anyone to answer them. The young man I asked didn't seem to care about helping me. Then it appeared we had to use the Kiosk to order ( what are we Costco?) Finally a man who was cooking helped us and actually took our order. The food was good and this man was very helpful. After you eat you are expected to clean off your table.

True story! My brother, who is not a coffee drinker could give 2 flying figs about my need for coffee. We were in the middle of no where and he said if you can find a coffee stop along this highway right now I will stop and I quickly pulled out my yelp app to see what we had and prayed to the coffee gawds that I had signal and that coffee could be found. You know what I found? THE HUMAN BEAN!!! OMG it was like it was heaven sent to me! I love my Human Bean in Tempe, told the bro it was less than a mile away and right next to the highway and off we went. We went through the drive thur and he was itching about the line, but I didn't even care I was within inches of getting coffee from The Human Bean in the middle of nowhere! I quickly placed my order, gave them my phone to pay from the app and off we went! I ordered a 20 ounce salted caramel with an extra shot and it did not disappoint! A perfect cup of coffee!

After i drove off we tasted our coffee and it tasted like straight up water. I was so disappointed. I will not ever go back to that Starbucks again. I have had such poor luck with coffees' lately from Starbucks. The last 6 I have bought here in Central Oregon have been awful. First of all, it's a one-way, so you have to drive through the gas station/convenience store area to get there. Once we arrived, there was nobody at the window, and although the signs said it was open, we couldn't tell if anyone was working. We waited for 3-4 minutes before being greeted by a non mask wearing employee. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal, but seeing as how we're in a global pandemic, it's incredibly irresponsible and disrespectful to not wear one. I got an Italian soda which didn't taste very good (either not enough cream, not enough syrup, or both), and the whipped cream had a weird texture to it. My partner ordered a vanilla latte and it was so hot that he had to wait another 15 minutes before sipping it. For the reasons stated above, we don't plan on coming back.
