From the moment we met, I could see how passionate she was about her work !! She took the time to ask me questions beforehand, and figure out what areas I needed her to concentrate on. She individualized the experience and it was not "cookie cutter" or pre-planned like so many other massages that I have had. She went above and beyond what she said she was going to do with each area. She also went OVER two hours which is SO rare! Most other massage therapists have a timer set and they move on before the pressure is released from tight muscles. Definitely not the case with Rosie. Her massage was the perfect combination between the correct pressure and the most relaxing morning I have had in a very long time !! She made the time fly by!! If you think you need a massage but you just haven't done it ... I hope this will change your mind ... it's well worth it !! Rosie is so talented and she is passionate about her job!! I loved my massage and I know you will too !! Call Rosie - you won't regret it !! I HIGHLY recommend her - TWO thumbs up - FIVE STARS - etc etc etc !! I am an extremely Happy Client and I can't wait until my next appointment !!

I jumped on it early in December and snagged us appointments for January 3rd. Turns out, it was worth the wait! My massage therapist, Janine, was wonderful and my mom only spoke positively about her massage therapist, Hannah. I always know a massage is good when I fall asleep... and sure enough, I drifted off for a little spa nap. Mission accomplished! I also loved the quiet room and the showers afterward, which really extended the whole relaxation experience. While I've been to spas across the country with much more extravagant amenities, Woodhouse is a fantastic option for Buffalo. I felt it was very clean, calm, and exactly what you want from a quality day spa. My mom and I both left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and very happy we finally made it happen! I'm sure we'll be back next time I am in town!

Excellent massage therapy, conveniently located on Sheridan Drive. My fiance and I got a…read morecertificate for a couple's massage as an engagement gift, and finally got around to scheduling it for a Sunday afternoon in February. The place is located on the bottom floor of a commercial space. There are three massage rooms available, two which look to just house one bed each and then one which was able to accommodate two beds for a couple's massage. The whole place was appointed very tastefully, with little touches to enhance relaxation. We filled out a form asking about any particular problems or areas of focus, and we were able to talk about our goals for the experience with the therapists before they started. After we were undressed and on the table, the therapists turned down the lights and there was some calming music played. Our massages were extremely professional and relaxing. I know that I prefer a lighter massage, and Katie was great at making sure that I wasn't experiencing any pain but was still getting the circulation and muscle manipulation benefits. My fiance prefers a deeper massage, and his therapist was able to get some knots out of his neck that have been tense for awhile. The therapists definitely took their time, and we felt like we got our full 60 minutes worth. We left feeling very pampered, and will definitely return in the future!

My first visit was better than the second but I still love this place and highly recommend it. My first visit was better as I purchase a complete spa package with a massage, make up application, light refreshments, etc. It was amazing!!! For today's visit I just chose a 30 minute deep tissue massage. I was slightly disappointed as I was actually booked for an hour massage (I know, I shouldn't be complaining!) but it was more than I had planned to spend and therefore I was not prepared with a better tip for my massage therapist. I wish I was aware of that prior to going into the session. The receptionist was not very friendly and spoke softly so she was hard to understand. It may have been her first day because she was working with another person, but I feel that she could have verified what my appointment was so that I could have confirmed prior to me getting the hour massage and thereby having to pay for the full service. Nevertheless, I was still satisfied with my service. I had Linda as my massage therapist. Initially I was worried because I'm about 5'10" and she is about 5' and I was wondering if she would be able to use enough pressure but she did not disappoint!!! Lol she was awesome and I feel so great! I would recommend her for sure. Overall Kona Oasis is a beautiful spa and I would love to come back for more services.
