One of the best spas that I've been too. I love the close convenient location! The waiting room is…read moresmall but the ambiance is calming and very nice when you're inside. I've been here twice. My first visit was better than the second but I still love this place and highly recommend it. My first visit was better as I purchase a complete spa package with a massage, make up application, light refreshments, etc. It was amazing!!! For today's visit I just chose a 30 minute deep tissue massage. I was slightly disappointed as I was actually booked for an hour massage (I know, I shouldn't be complaining!) but it was more than I had planned to spend and therefore I was not prepared with a better tip for my massage therapist. I wish I was aware of that prior to going into the session. The receptionist was not very friendly and spoke softly so she was hard to understand. It may have been her first day because she was working with another person, but I feel that she could have verified what my appointment was so that I could have confirmed prior to me getting the hour massage and thereby having to pay for the full service. Nevertheless, I was still satisfied with my service. I had Linda as my massage therapist. Initially I was worried because I'm about 5'10" and she is about 5' and I was wondering if she would be able to use enough pressure but she did not disappoint!!! Lol she was awesome and I feel so great! I would recommend her for sure. Overall Kona Oasis is a beautiful spa and I would love to come back for more services. If you're looking to treat yourself, be sure to get a full package!!

Conveniently located in East Aurora and more affordable than other area spas, but unfortunately the…read moreold maxim that you get what you pay for holds true here. I had a gel manicure and a massage done by the same person, which probably tells you something. The gel manicure looks awful - I can paint my own nails with more skill. Some nails are lumpy and uneven and on others the polish doesn't even come all the way to the tip of the nail. I didn't notice it until I got out into the sunlight or I'd have asked for them to be redone, but I don't really want to go back. The massage itself was just OK, but there was no discussion of what would be used (typically a scented oil of your choice, in my experience) and the massage therapist employed some kind of lotion that smelled cheaply and VERY strongly of fruit. Very cloying and the opposite of pampering or relaxing. I ended up going home and showering to get it off ASAP. The spa itself is rather odd. It is clearly a converted office building. The massage rooms are separated by yellow cubicle walls and there are fluorescent lights on the ceiling (not in use, thankfully.) No one else was there during my visit, but I can't imagine relaxing if one of the other stalls had been in use. It is nicely decorated, but it was obviously done on a tight budget. The reception area looks and feels like a doctor's office with slightly better furniture, and this is where you sit to wait for your appointment. No fluffy robes or cucumber water here! To be fair, it seems like the right intentions are there and the staff I encountered were friendly. If there were other reviews on Yelp, I probably wouldn't post one as it is not my intention to bash them. But as a consumer I want a better experience for my money, so I cannot recommend it to others.

I think she just started up and it is a bit weird that the sign on the door outside to her business is just on a piece of printer paper. The waiting area is big with complementary water, tea, and coffee it could use a coat rack. Emily is real nice I'd guess in her 30s, you quickly feel at ease with her. Overall my wife said she loved her massage so to me I could care less if I get a massage in a super fancy overpriced spa or someone nice start up apartment at a much better price.

I'll admit, I was skeptical because I've had many groupons and the like for spa services that turned out terrible, but this was not the case here! I had a wonderful, peaceful massage and the lavender-scented scrub was amazing! The hot towels added to the massage so much. I think next time I go in I might book an even longer massage because I could tell the masseuse truly knew what she was doing and had been trained. I have had many massages, and this was one of the best. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I had a little of the sea salt left on me after the massage, and I couldn't find anything in the room to wipe it off with. That being said, that tiny little issue did nothing to deter me from going back. It was a great experience!

MTOB is truly a quintessential Clarence Center gem for relaxation. The location in the Victoria…read morePark Plaza is quaint, quiet, and safe. You won't have to worry about parking, as there is ample space throughout the entire area. The MTOB office has a few rooms available for different massage services. I've been in once for a couples massage and once most recently for a cupping service. 10 minutes of cupping is said to be the equivalent of 90 minutes deep tissue massage in relation to releasing toxins. My therapist Maria told me that she tries to not leave marks on her clients but I requested that she go hard on me, marks and all. Maria has a lot of awareness and is conscious of her clients' reactions during a treatment. She knows when to go hard and when to scale it back, without you having to say a word. This, to me, is a sign of a true professional. The treatment rooms were very luxurious, calm, peaceful, and the perfect temperature. I enjoyed the signature massage oil and eucalyptus aromatherapy which immediately calmed me down, as I was a total spaz on my last visit. One of the hard things about spa treatments for me is jumping back into the world after experiencing such relaxation. Leaving the MTOB facility and stepping into the adorable, wooded parking lot was such a gentle way to ease back into things without losing my serenity.
