Rehab was roughly 15 minute a day and was in a makeshift gym while the actual gym was being rehabbed. Food was usually bad (see photo). I feel I did not receive the attention necessary to recover and have pretty much been forced to handle rehabilitation on my own. Everyone was very nice but the service was subpar. I rang the nurses bell for my roommate as he was in worse shape than I and it took 40 minutes for the nurse to arrive. 40 minutes! Thank God he didn't flatline! Try to avoid this place if you can. I didn't have a choice and so I was sent here.

When we ask questions an example was when my aunt went at the front desk Who was my mothers nurse they all stood around looking like I don't know not me. Finally when my aunt pressed it more, the lady standing there said oh I am her nurse. She didn't say she was her nurse. Needless to say my aunt gave her a piece of her mind. The adjoining bathroom that the people there shared was disgusting the base of the toilet when I went in for my mom to go. The actual toilet seat was corroded. I had to wipe it down. They certainly don't care about your family member so use caution if you need to use this place I do not recommend it.

Everything he told me about the program seemed to good to be true! Despite my skeptism my son enrolled and a week later he was on his way to changing his life. He was initially sent to an outside detox center ,the staff at Liberation kept in touch with me through out the process. From detox he was transferred to a phase 1 house where the foundation for his recovery was set. As he developed and progressed he was then moved to phase where he was given independence and the chance to delve into what he learned in the first phase. Once he completed phase 2 it was off to a sober living home. He is currently there and due to graduate from Liberation way in a week. Although he struggled with in himself through out this process he was supported every step of the way by the Liberation Way staff! He went from a young man who was numb and empty inside to a man who now has a sparkle in his eye. He has direction and goals! He just spent the weekend home for the holiday and I can tell you there is no greater gift than seeing your child happy and healthy! Eternally grateful to all the staff at Liberation Way! I would strongly recommend Liberation Way to anyone who is dealing with an addiction, whether for themselves or a family member.

She even was supportive to my dad when he called the front desk in tears from his room to get help. Outside of the physical rehab, the experience was soul crushing. There were a few good team members who care and did a good job. There rest, not so much. It seemed as if you were an an annoying bag of bones. When you ring the bell for help, it could take nearly an hour for someone to come. Typically it was between 30 and 40 minutes. An aid told my dad to use a second urinal before ringing to have it emptied. Despite speaking with the supervisor more than once, nothing changed. Food was always cold and usually not what you ordered on the menu. Tevon did try and was very nice, but he couldn't do everything himself. I spoke with Kelly, the administrator about these and other issues. She did not seem to care and nothing changed or improved after speaking with her. With leadership like hers, I don't see Yardley Rehab as a good place to care for a human being.

I chose them because they changed their name to Yardley Rehab and healthcare. I thought that sounded like just what I needed. The few pictures they had on their site were nice.I had just broken my knee. The hospital needed me to leave plus I was suffering from a flare of intersistal cystitis, when the main symptoms is pain of the bladder area and the need to go the bathroom frequently. Apparently the staff here does not like that. They rarely came when I pushed the red button. I couldn't even tell if it was pushed as after like the third or fourth time on their shift they refuse to do anymore. They got nasty and would send other people in on behalf of them to yell at me And I didn't do anything wrong. I'm sick. I came in on a Friday saw a lot of people in about 15 minutes a lot of touchy-feely, and I gotta go through your stuff. I've got to pick you up where I've got to assist you for walking from the physical therapist. Two physical therapists came in and one spent a little bit of time with the other one spent a little bit more time and said he would be in on Saturday morning, and he would work with me. No one would be in on Sunday. Well, it's almost 3 o'clock and he's is not coming.. when I first got there I was unsure of who anyone was because, I really can't see their name tags, but someone immediately wanted to go through my stuff looking for the drugs because I can't have drugs on me. I said I only have them in one bag and I will do that with the nurse and they said no,a they have to do this first I said no we went back-and-forth and then I said just get out of my room and I guess that started the battle I went through everything with the nurse and then she went home at midnight and nobody knows how to give me medicine. I have to basically tell them what I need. I had not received my high blood pressure medicine since Thursday so I asked for that and she went in and got a blood pressure monitor and it was really high so she gave me one and I said you mean you weren't going to give me that if it wasn't high, I needed it anyway and she said she's a nurse. She knows that and this is how it went with everybody and everything. I am basically a captive in my room from Friday afternoon until Monday when I will try to ask if I can transfer to anywhere , just to get away from here

The substance I was on has a tendency to exacerbate pre-existing conditions like Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), both of which I have been formally diagnosed with. I sincerely wished to seek help for my affliction, yet I was in a state that had me quite paranoid and suspicious of others intent. While the driver was departing I was quick to determine that this was not the treatment center I wished to go to. While objectively irrational, I felt extremely frightened and unsafe and wanted to opt out. I began asking if I could please be transported to another treatment center that I had already been to before. Either Steps to Recovery, which I new was somewhere close by, or Recovery Centers of America in Devon, or Banyon in Langhorn. A place that had already established trust within my mind where I would not be prone to all of this irrational undue stress. They were not being cooperative, and so I refused to hand over my phone because I knew that in doing so I would most likely wind up being trapped there without any way to facilitate an exit for myself. I was not willing to leave myself at these individuals mercy. I could not get myself logged into my Uber account most likely due to my intoxication. I pleaded with them to aid me in my efforts to get me transported to another treatment center where I knew I'd feel safe. They did nothing to help me accomplish that task. They eventually stated that if I wasn't willing to come in then I am obligated to vacate the property immediately, and they willfully shewed me off the premises. They said I couldn't stay near the gate, either that I had to go all of the way out to the street. I'm now highly intoxicated out on the street in the middle of the night with no means of transportation and no where to go, in a town I'm totally unfamiliar with, and people on the other side of the gate insisting that I just get out of there now. In a fit of sheer terror I dialed 911, in the hopes that it would get me somewhere safe (it did not, but that's an entirely separate traumatizing story for another time). The end result of these individuals refusal to help me while I was in a state where I was incapable of helping myself is misdemeanor possession charges in bucks county that I now must contend with. All of which could have been avoided, had the individuals that were on staff that day not been, in my opinion, totally morally and ethically bankrupt.
