The adjoining bathroom that the people there shared was disgusting the base of the toilet when I went in for my mom to go. The actual toilet seat was corroded. I had to wipe it down. They certainly don't care about your family member so use caution if you need to use this place I do not recommend it.

I feel I did not receive the attention necessary to recover and have pretty much been forced to handle rehabilitation on my own. Everyone was very nice but the service was subpar. I rang the nurses bell for my roommate as he was in worse shape than I and it took 40 minutes for the nurse to arrive. 40 minutes! Thank God he didn't flatline! Try to avoid this place if you can. I didn't have a choice and so I was sent here.

The nursing staff was also attentive and caring (Abdul, Andrew, Lisa, Jennifer, Jackie, Erin). I recognize that CNAs have a difficult job, but several of them were able to perform their duties and smile throughout (Jill, Brianna, Joan). Dr. Fox was very empathetic. Yardley Rehab The…read morephysical therapy at this place was wonderful. The PT staff were friendly, caring, and did a great job helping my dad recover. Unfortunately, our experience with the nursing care was completely different. If your loved one is here, I would strongly recommend staying involved and paying close attention to their care. My dad developed two Stage 4 pressure ulcers, and one of them had tunneling that was not documented until our family found it and brought it to the nursing staff's attention. We tried multiple times to speak with the administrator about our concerns but never received a response. The Director of Nursing was also made aware, but we felt our concerns were not taken seriously. While visiting, our family often ended up providing much of the care ourselves, including helping him get out of bed, assisting with walking, changing and giving him baths. We also had to push repeatedly for a wound care consult and proper wound treatment. My dad stayed there for about month and half. As soon as he was able to walk 50 to 100 steps with a walker, we brought him home. It ultimately took eight months for his Stage 4 pressure ulcers to heal. The physical therapy team was excellent, but our experience with the nursing care was very disappointing. If you're considering this facility for a loved one, I would encourage you to think twice and do your research before making a decision.

On 04/07/21 I was transported to Daybreak treatment center. I was highly intoxicated and rather…read moreincapable of functioning properly both from a mechanical stand point and from a "good judgement", point of view. The substance I was on has a tendency to exacerbate pre-existing conditions like Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), both of which I have been formally diagnosed with. I sincerely wished to seek help for my affliction, yet I was in a state that had me quite paranoid and suspicious of others intent. While the driver was departing I was quick to determine that this was not the treatment center I wished to go to. While objectively irrational, I felt extremely frightened and unsafe and wanted to opt out. I began asking if I could please be transported to another treatment center that I had already been to before. Either Steps to Recovery, which I new was somewhere close by, or Recovery Centers of America in Devon, or Banyon in Langhorn. A place that had already established trust within my mind where I would not be prone to all of this irrational undue stress. They were not being cooperative, and so I refused to hand over my phone because I knew that in doing so I would most likely wind up being trapped there without any way to facilitate an exit for myself. I was not willing to leave myself at these individuals mercy. I could not get myself logged into my Uber account most likely due to my intoxication. I pleaded with them to aid me in my efforts to get me transported to another treatment center where I knew I'd feel safe. They did nothing to help me accomplish that task. They eventually stated that if I wasn't willing to come in then I am obligated to vacate the property immediately, and they willfully shewed me off the premises. They said I couldn't stay near the gate, either that I had to go all of the way out to the street. I'm now highly intoxicated out on the street in the middle of the night with no means of transportation and no where to go, in a town I'm totally unfamiliar with, and people on the other side of the gate insisting that I just get out of there now. In a fit of sheer terror I dialed 911, in the hopes that it would get me somewhere safe (it did not, but that's an entirely separate traumatizing story for another time). The end result of these individuals refusal to help me while I was in a state where I was incapable of helping myself is misdemeanor possession charges in bucks county that I now must contend with. All of which could have been avoided, had the individuals that were on staff that day not been, in my opinion, totally morally and ethically bankrupt.
