Samaritan palliative care is useless!!! Stay away from this area of Samaritan. No help at all. Get…read moreyour family doctor involved with care. Easier to get help from a good family doctor. Not palliative! Samaritan hospice hospital in Voorhees is a fantastic facility. Full of caring attentive nurses. The best of them Ken!!! If you're worried about a loved one being properly cared for this is the place. Very clean, thoughtful and friendly to the whole family in a time of distress. The hospice side of Samaritan is totally different from the palliative side. Nurses are more caring and very informative on the hospice side.

This place is NOT even a last resort. My mom used this company for a little under a year. The ignorance and attitude given to customers SPECIFICALLY by CHRISTINA (who is literally a nobody that answers phone calls) is unbelievable. She will raise her voice and get pretty barbaric over questions (she's a know it all that answers phone for a living). Everything done by this company goes wrong on some level, even a simple task like refilling medications for my mother was a huge ordeal (I was actually on the phone for 45mins with Christina just to refill a lasik medication). Save yourself the time and stress. PICK ANYWHERE BUT HERE!

A great company to work for. The owners truly care about their employees and the clients.read more

When I write reviews, I often cite specific issues or aspects of the service. In this case, I could…read morefill a book, within which, most chapters would be bad, but a very few would be good. So, rather than do that, I'll summarize some key points: The owner is courteous, seems to genuinely care, but more than that is a salesman. The pitch you get when shopping isn't quite what you see after you buy. The internal office staff is outstanding, and I give them credit for hanging in and doing what is surely a very difficult job. The quality of the actual caregivers (referring here to non-skilled nursing) can be broken down into a few categories: Those who truly care and do their very best: 20%. Those who get the job done, no more, and perhaps some less: 40%. Those who clearly prefer NOT to work, lose house keys, can't work a door lock, call out, I'm need to leave early, or who'd be better off picking the seeds out of strawberries for a living: 40%. This company exists (in my opinion) because: They're better than nothing (on a good day). In closing, too many companies mistakenly believe that they're good, simply because they're better than the worst. That's a shame, but I believe it to be true. The old adage "If you want something done right, do it yourself" really applies to this service, and most every other service out there now. If you can't do it yourself, I suggest you think long and hard (if time allows) when you choose a care provider. And, for what it's worth, if you read this far, keep looking at other agencies. Edit: Oh, and by the way, the photos this organization has posted are representative of some fantasy world in an alternate dimension.
