All our guests are shocked at the transformation to the feel of our home. Get this : The work was completed ahead of schedule! Yes that's right - it does happen in remodelling - but honestly not often. The entire process was executed with near swiss clock precision, scheduling and craftsmanship. The workers showed up on time at every step and it's clear they have a very good relationship with Eric at Skyline so they do their best work on time, every time. It's evident that all the workers are very experienced and know how to execute complex projects like ours. We removed an entire load barring wall dividing the kitchen and living room that had a brick fireplace, and chimney. They removed it all without destroying unintended nearby walls or flooring. Skyline rebuilt the entire ceiling structure, doubled the skylight opening by adding a second skylight, they patched the roof opening, replaced all the utilities including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and even refurbished our existing 20+ yr old exotic Kempas hardwood flooring to line up like glass with our newly installed kitchen tile flooring. This was a complex job with a lot of challenging details, like custom cabinetry, a 10 foot waterfall Quartzite stone island with utilities on concrete subfloor, and much more. The results speak for themselves. I've done previous work with other contractors but the level of efficiency and professionalism with Skyline made this a smooth project where all the small details are handled well before they become an issue. I'm already planning additional remodel work in other parts of my home with them. I got Skyline recommended to me by my property management company. I met Joe the owner a few days later. He was very professional and I felt confident that he could do the job and on schedule. I am very glad I went with him. From the start of the work, his guys always showed up on time and Joe was always available or on site to answer questions or deal with issues (most were minor). They rushed the job for me and they met the deadline and the work was excellent. When it came time to do the threshold on the flooring between the tiles in the bathroom to the wood floors in the rest of the house, He actually brought in a floor specialist not just the regular crew. I really appreciated that. The floor guy offered me options including taking out pieces of the wood floors and running it seamlessly to the tile of the bathroom. Even though that would look the best, I opted not to do that because it would require ripping out some of the wood flooring and glueing new pieces in. I was in a rush to finish, and I didn't think laying a piece of wood flooring perpendicular to the rest of the flooring looked that bad. But I appreciated that I had that option. Most contractors would have just done whatever they wanted and made you live with it after the fact. I highly recommend Skyline. Oh and my dog loved Joe. Joe even took her on walks and car rides. Super unusual but apparently my dog was a good judge of character. She doesn't like a lot of strangers so very unusual that she took to Joe.

Through the process they were honest and open and collaborative. We chose colors, materials and designs with their expert guidance and input. On a couple of occasions their advice saved us from our own bad ideas and resulted in a much-improved final outcome.
