My case was nothing short of chaotic. I started with one AP who then quit, leaving me to bounce around between two other providers who weren't even my official AP. Finally, I got to see a real AP, but then my benefits were denied without any clear reason, only to be approved later. On top of that, I faced employment issues that had me firing off emails like I was in the middle of a war. Throughout this whole ordeal, I can't express enough how grateful I am to Rachel and Caleb for their incredible patience and support. Failed to provide promised expert advice on a critical issue involving medical visits and Time Loss payments. Failed to recognize a basic problem with Unemployment vs LNI. Abandoned representation at the moment I really needed it with an irrational and contradictory reasoning. Essentially I was only damaged by this experience and my entire medical file and case was open to this firm which I dont feel comfortable with in hindsight. Whatever good work they did before, I would have been better off without them and feel this is a very suspicious outfit. I will have to complain and possibly more. read more

I only spoke with Alec Hansen their intake specialist. He immediately turned me down without allowing me to clarify things with a lawyer back in early September. Also, he gave me the impression I was talking with a lawyer. Someone needs to supervise intake/receptionist at law firms like these because I legitimately had a case against a employer who wrongfully terminated me for reporting a patient who threatened me for being a physical therapy aide on my orientation day. I brought up a safety concerned and I got fired the next day at irg physical therapy gateway. They even promised to work with me on my report but a manager the next morning gave word to fire me the next morning. I also found out they have been lying about why I got fired. There was a lot more information but I never could get through to a lawyer. Again, someone needs to supervise intake specialist because the final word needs to come from a lawyer not a non licensed individual! P.S I have a email that I wrote to them questioning why this happened. Update: I need to state this firm needs to do a overview of the cases that their "trained" specialist are overseeing. Specially, with Alec Hansen. I believe he is over reaching his authority as "intake specialist". First, if an Employer Law Firm has too many cases, and they have an intake staff assistant, that cannot simply know how to communicate at a law firm, and note, "we are happy to ask our boss, and email a reply to you next week," then this is a sign of a firm's mismanagement of their staff. The attorneys might be amazing, but if their staff is limited in simplicity to support other professionals, they will ultimately lose large commission cases. I would have loved to have Tim Emery simply answer ONE question, so his intake receptionist JESSE, could email a reply, as I noted, feel free to email us at your convenience but that was just too tough for this perfected team. I have worked with attorneys that have over 50+ year background, and I am trained in Dept of Justice level credential, assigned in legal investigation/court qualified areas that support other area of victim case oversights but we know even a PRIVACY RCW STATUTE VIOLATION TO EMPLOYEES BY EMPLOYER is a large issue in some corporations today. They wrongfully will collect emails/texts or social media from Employees without permission, and not related to the workplace, and private outside communications, thus these issues are even Class Action in some Employer HR department violations. Unfortunately, due to the lack of normal communication skills at this firm, to ANSWER if they represent PRIVACY RCW violations, with Union leader evidence of it, they just lost a SIMPLE EVIDENCE PROVEN CASE. I have also been in a multi-year State Licensing Apprenticeship with a US Attorney office contracted Investigator/Govt Trainer/Teacher of the Legal Investigation field, and the number one area we all protect is the CONFIDENTIALITY and PRIVACY STATUTE PROTECTIONS. Thus an Employer that has no BOUNDARIES, who will intimidate, or invade the PRIVACY of any number of Employees, matters to many of us. We will have to vote this firm DOWN simply from our experience working in legal advocacy and always being very approachable, kind, Pro Bono, and answering any questions and even a past trial rep in the BIIA courtroom. Pro Bono advocates are not financially motivated and in Advocacy, so it is true, the basic ETHICS OF ANY GREAT LAW FIRM is normal approachability first, and if this firm intake team cannot answer ONE question, it sadly steers us away and others too. I'm the victim of a work related injury. The details are irrelevant. The nature of the injury is also irrelevant. The only relevant issue is that my injury is permanently debilitating and that both the Employer of Injury (for as long as the injury impacted their premiums) and the Department of Labor and Industries resisted proper application of Washington State law. I spent the first couple of years of my claim handling everything myself while also spiraling into debt and disability. It was horrific. I lost my livelihood. I lost relationships. I lost my sense of purpose. I lost my ever loving mind. I lost my temper (in public, even). I lost hope. I lost myself. I was overwhelmed. I reached out to Emery Reddy and finally relinquished control to people better equipped to handle the situation so that I could focus on staying alive. Literally. The skilled professionals at Emery Reddy not only managed the claim, they managed *me*. They held my hand through the anxiety and the panic. They answered the persistent questions and explained the processes. They've stuck with me through everything. They are still with me. Listen, you're going to debate whether it's worth it to pay the lawyers to file the paperwork. You're going to argue with yourself that these are all statutory requirements and that you're legally entitled to these benefits. You're going to try to convince yourself that somehow a state agency will do what the state and federal laws dictate. And then, at some point, you'll realize that you are well and truly fucked. You'll understand that this system is designed to protect the interests of employers and every "provider" riding the workers compensation gravy train. There's IME after IME after IME and there's Vocational Rehabilitation Providers and there's Functional Capacity Exams and there's Work Conditioning and Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy and on and on and on. And they all get paid to keep you in the system and to make sure that you get as little as possible. You know who isn't getting paid? You! The propaganda is that injured workers are ripping off the system. The real statistics show that less than 2% of worker claims are referred to the fraud department. The statistics of employers committing fraud against workers? About ten times that. But, for some reason, corporations are somehow more trustworthy than actual human beings. ‍ Nobody is out here scamming L&I for the pittance that they pay you for not being able to work and nobody is begging for surgical procedures that they don't actually need. It's fucking weird that this system forces people to subject themselves to this kind of humiliation and abuse just to keep employer premiums low. And we're not talking about huge increases, either. We're talking about denying someone spinal surgery so they can walk again to save a company $100 a month. No joke. Wage replacement is about 67% of your total wages at the time of injury. However, that maxes out at 120% of the state's average monthly wage. If you made more than the cap, tough shit. No more. Your wage replacement will not exceed that amount ever. My point is: nobody is getting rich "scamming" L&I. But, the capitalist propaganda machine would have you believe that it's rampant. You know what *is* rampant? Employers without workers compensation insurance. Employers who misclassify employees to pay lower premiums. Employers who refuse to file claims. Employers who retaliate against employees who are injured on the job. Employers who refuse to provide safe working environments and *then* fire employees who get hurt on the job. Employers who intimidate employees who get injured into not filing claims. Employers who withhold wages. Employers who abuse their power. You know what those employees need? A really good attorney. These people are really good attorneys. They have an incredible understanding of the law and the application of the process. They come prepared with a seasoned, compassionate support staff. They've handled everything from a simple "slip and fall" to a catastrophic life altering situation that leaves a person permanently disabled. And they have handled it well. I'm not saying that this endeavor will be easy or quick. It likely won't. But, you'll be in good hands and you won't be alone. Call them. Tell them Victoria sent you. read more

This law firm is a joke . Super unprofessional. They took my case and NEVER kept me informed. I contacted Emery Reddy PLLC almost 4 YEARS AGO for a wrongful termination employment matter. I was told by the attorney Patrick Reddy and Amanda after an initial consult they wanted to represent me and take my case. I signed all the representation documents, attorney client forms and sent all necessary documents needed to successfully move forward with my case. A demand letter was drafted and sent to the company and I was told they would contact me with an update. A month or two later I received an email on On Jun 30, 2021 that basically said they reached out to the company's in house councel and they woul let me know when they had further updates. I contacted the firm several times for an update after this but was always told someone would get back to me and no one ever got back to me. I assumed the case wasn't worth their time and they just stopped working on it... Almost 4 years later I get a few random emails from the firm asking me to contact them to talk about my case...I seriously thought it was spam or a joke. No one ever informed me this case would take 4 years. If they told me "hey we will contact you in 4 years when this goes to court!' i would have been fine with that, at least i would know what was going on. UPDATE: After I posted this review on yelp about my experience with this firm, I received multiple emails for weeks from Patrick telling me to take my review down or he would respond by calling me a liar. Emery Reddy lawyers helped me with an L&I claim of an ankle injury I encountered in late 2020. The reason I give only 2 stars is because whenever I tried contacting them I was told to leave a message with the person I needed to speak with and never received a call back from. They finally settled my case but I didn't receive much of a benefit in dollar amount from the company I sued whom due to their negligence, caused my injury to begin with. I was hoping these lawyers would do a relatively good job in settling for a significantly larger amount but unfortunately they didn't. Therefore I wouldn't recommend them to anybody.
