I absolutely LOVE this store! My favorite party/gift store for the longest time was papersource. But they keep getting more expensive! And I hate having to fight for parking in that other shopping complex This place has such a great variety and such adorable gifts! It's a no brainer to come here if you need to pick something out for someone! Beside the party favors and all the choices of paper plates/napkins they have they also carry some bath/body stuff. I used to like coming I to this store. I've even bought quite a bit of stuff for my daughter before. Unfortunately, the last few times I've been there the staff seems inauthentic and plain rude at times. Bad service. The staff will flat out see you struggling to reach a object and won't offer help. I just stood in line to purchase a item while the only 2 staff members worked on blowing up a ballon. When one finally came to help, there was no "hey sorry for the wait" or "hope you found everything you needed"...nothing ! Rang up the item in silence and then gave us the bag. No "thank you for shopping with us". Just silent. Rude ass. read more

Very very poor customer service from Christy in Tanglewood store. She was confrontational when trying to place my order stating to just come in and do my order s it was a bother to her on the phone. I asked to speak with someone else and Michele helped me with my order. We spent thirty minutes going over my order ..I paid and then 30 minutes later Christy called saying they cannot fulfill my order and cancelled. Very very unprofessional and disappointed. I have placed numerous orders with Scarlett and never had an issue I believe sone employees need retraining on Customer always comes first. Sad to see this establishment close soon. read more

Excellent boutique party store! The best paper wares in the area to make your event a success. I love that they carry exclusive and unique decorations. These are definitely not "Party City" quality materials. They change seasonally, so expect new arrivals every week to two weeks. They also have some kids clothes and toys year round, along with a selection of hostess presents for last minute gift needs. I have even bought some of their party plates and decorations to use for everyday in my household. I've told tons of people about Emerson Sloan and they have all come back to me raving with praise for the store. read more

This store is the absolute cutest. When I have a kid, I want to be that extra parent who buys all the themed decorations from here. A HUGE step up from the usual party stores. However, I really have to commend on the service here. I came in with my aunt to look for some possible confetti poppers for her wedding. We told the employees what we were looking for, but when we couldn't find exactly what we wanted, they pulled up Amazon and helped search for some that would suit our needs! They also have those super big (and cute!!!) balloons filled with confetti here. We were able to customize the color of the confetti although there are some preset ones. I do wish we didn't have to pay extra for the cute ribbon and helium. We could've used our own helium but apparently there's a certain way the balloons needs to be blown up for the confetti to stick to the sides. So we left that to the professionals. read more

Emerson denied a one-third refund or replacementof the one balloon stating that I should not have shopped in warm weather with the balloons in the car (I had shopped briefly at Central Market). I bought two $4.99 balloons. They charged $2 to fill one balloon and $7 for the other. The balloons were the same price and pretty much the same size. Both foil. Why charge me $5 more for the second balloon? It cost me over $20 to buy and fill two foil balloons at this place. I learned my lesson. read more

They have an adorable selection of party supplies. I was happy to see that they had the vendor Slant as the main source for their inventory. I was very disappointed in their customer service. I chose my items quickly and went up to the counter to purchase them. I greeted both employees and did not receive a greeting back, the employee behind the register was on her phone and after some time she finally reliazed that I was there, said "Oh!" and began to scan my items. In the middle of the transaction she began talking to another customer who was not looking for her assistance and left me waiting once again. Did not even excuse herself or apologized. The other employee just stood there. It's so unfortunate that the employees do not have a sense of what customer service should look like. This store has adorable merchandise and would do so much better if it focused on training their employees. I will now be searching for my party supplies from their awesome vendors elsewhere. read more
