This place was attentive and knowledgeable not only about fountain pins in various price ranges, but about stationary. I came to purchase upgrades to my pocket journal and luckily they had everything I needed in stock. I hate purchasing online. I came here with my mom during Christmas break because my city didn't have anything like this. I will definitely be back!

Such a wonderful experience. Wide selection of pens, inks and all accessories. Owner and staff were perfect. I visited the store two of the three days I was in town and it would have been three days had they been open on Sundays. My bank account thanks you for closing on Sundays. ;)

Love me a good stationary store! Huge variety of pens and a good price range too. They also had a large section of notebooks and sketch pads as well again in the large price range. It was also nice you could test items out on paper before committing. There were some super cute stickers and planners there too. Wanted to buy so much haha.

Some options I was considering but didn't get. On my to-buy list

This place is heaven for all pen and paper enthusiasts! There was so much to look at: stationery, notebooks, stickers, inks, fountain pens, pencils, EVERYTHING! The guys there were amazing! So helpful and knowledgeable and great at letting me try out literally every single pen I saw LOL we don't have pen shops like this in Miami so this was a dream come true to try out pens that I've only ever been able to see online (Goulet Pens I see you)! They have a large variety of pens from high to low end and an entire wall of inks along with an ink book with all color switches Left the store with a few bottles of ink, a beautiful Leonardo fountain pen and some recs for my next purchase. Would HIGHLY recommend! This is my official go-to fountain pen store whenever I visit Houston.

Ask the Community - Dromgoole's Fine Writing Instruments

Is nib tuning a service you still offer?

For minor tuning, smoothing, realigning of tines, etc. that's usually something we can do here. More major repairs or re-grinding require a nibmeister, and while our in-house nibmeister hasn't been able to come in since March, we can send off pens… Read more

Do you offer pen repairs and pen nib tuning?

Yes we do! Minor pen tune ups and nib adjustments can be done any day of the week and major pen repairs can be done on most Saturdays, when our Pen Doctor comes in!

Frida: The Making of an Icon, a captivating exhibition, graced the halls of MFAH in January and will leave May 17. This remarkable exhibition showcases over 30 works by the iconic artist.
