Soup and sandwich
Diana C.

My husband said the soup and ham and grilled cheese sandwich were Great the shrimp and lobster casserole was good. Very small portion with a side of salad.

Meat lovers extra sauce, with added onions and mushrooms

Always friendly staff, and some pretty amazing food for what's in the area! From pizza, to burgers, and apps are amazing! I have yet to try the enteees and light fair but that's in the works :). I know a lot of places have pizza, but as places have been changing around. This place just has the best of all worlds for everyone in the family. I didn't notice a kids menu online but my kiddo and my girlfriends particular kiddo found food here. Big win!

This is the second location for Emeralds. The first one was destroyed in a fire in May of this year. This review is based solely on their pizza. I ordered a garlic white and a plain cheese pizza. The garlic white was not good. It was oily sin and flavorless. Which is surprising because I love white pizza. The plane was pretty good. But not great. The pizza choices in Ticonderoga are limited now that Ti Pi has gone out of business. It's a little pricey too but I am planning on going back and trying the stuffed eggplant.

Fabulous meal of seafood scampi and New York sirloin steak. Dinner started with delicious hot rolls and a good salad. Dessert of lemon raspberry cake finished off a great meal. Our waitress Sue did an outstanding job. Emeralds II is lucky to have her. We will be back.

Dijon crusted salmon, sides seasonal. I cleaned my plate. Salmon was so soft and flaky.

I never review restaurants but I thought this restaurant should show off its food so I took some photos. We almost didn't come here for lack of photos but the reviews of the food being consistently good (see TripAdvisor reviews) swayed our decision. The food was very good. Great portions and well prepared. Our waitress was wonderful and our food came out at just the right pace (faster than I expected based on other reviews, but not too fast to where you know it was being prepared from scratch by a chef). We stayed in Hague so it was an easy choice to travel north instead of south where the prices were 1/2 again as much for less food of comparable quality. We will be back here next time we're up to Lake George. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is I would have liked more options for sides, but again, I cleaned my plate so no real complaints!

Great cocktails, relaxing atmosphere, makes for a Great Time!!!

Sat on the porch for lunch with large family. All our meals were great and big portions. Drinks so good.

Full Cord Pizza - Super thick cut pepperoni, cut by hand. Just a little char and crispy too. Excellent!

These folk are crankin' out some really good pizza pies! The pizza I had yesterday was definitely…read moreone of the best pies I've had so far in the greater Capital Region. All locally sourced ingredients being used here and great attention to detail for each pizza. Their pies are 12 inches, but are definitely filling. I'd say most normal appetite eaters could split a pie with their bud and still be happy, though if you're a monster eater, you'd want one all to yourself most def. See my pics as they tell a great story about their pies and pricing. They're using a nifty wood fired oven that is totally transportable using their truck and they're running nice, hot temps in that oven. The stone brick decking in their oven runs so hot that you get a real nice char on the dough, but the inside is soft and chewy, just like I likes it! The pizza peel guy told me the oven was burning at about 650 degrees when he was roatating my pizza. These guys know how to use their oven and they keep a watchful eye to make sure rotation is happening just as it should, that way your pie gets the perfect char while maintaining that soft and chewy love on the inside! Wicked good. Had a pepperoni pie this time round and the owner told me he that he hand slices each pepperoni so each slice is super thick, which indeed they were. The hot, hot wood fire gives the pepperoni a great crisp/char on the edges that adds that extra dimension of flavor that all good roni pizzas have. Great tang in the pepperoni and the sauce offered a great balance to an overall great pizza. Abundant cheese tops it all off real, real nice. Follow them on Facebook to see where they'll be appearing next. They apparently can cater and do private events as well. Finally, they also accept credit cards using their cell phone card swiper and they can text you the receipt for your purchase. Looking forward to meeting up with these folks again down the road to get another great pie. I have a feeling they're going to be really busy as word gets out about the quality they're cranking out.

Fantastic 1st stop on our way to Burlington. Very clean, well designed space. 12:30 on a Friday and…read morethe place was not very busy and we headed right to the bar to sit. Very friendly service that had us sipping on locally sourced craft beer right away. Very reasonably priced flight which had a pilsner, a pale, an IPA and a stout on nitro. All were solid. The place smelled so incredible since a large tray of smoked wings were fresh out of the smoker, so we had to order up those, along with their fantastic onion rings. Not sure about the one review saying the wings tasted like rubber, but they must not enjoy smoked style wings. There were piping hot, and practically fell right off the bone when you ate them. A nice hint of some sweet spice in the dry rub that I could not identify, but they were some of the best wings I have eaten, so take that for what it is. We both absolutely loved them. I ordered the house salad and it was a monster for under $7. Loaded with cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, arugula and other greens. Split a pizza (Green Street, loaded with Basil pesto, roasted fennel, pickled fennel, mushrooms, baby arugula, toasted pine nuts, local mozzarella, Grana Padano & balsamic reduction). Ordered only 1/2 mushroom for my picky friend, and they happily obliged. We brought some of the salad and pizza home with us, as the portions were gigantic. A great first visit to Hired Hands. We'll be back.
