I don't think I've ever had a more professional service experience in my life. My 25-year-old Rheem AC finally died. It was hard enough finding a company who works on condo units -- I called at least three and they don't work with condos -- but after reading the reviews of Ventilation Pros Corp, I decided to give them a call. Gilbert was able to fit me in the same day I called (Tuesday), arrived when he said he was going to, insisted the job be done the right way, with permits, ("that protects both you and me") and applied for the permit that evening after I approved the estimate. The next morning the permit was granted. It was a bit hectic that day getting all of the required paperwork to the management company so that Gilbert and his team could gain access to the roof the next day, but we got it done. (Gilbert was in contact with me that entire day to make sure I received all the documentation I needed.) The day of installation (today, Thursday), he arrived about 20 minutes early, ready to go. They had the job done about 4.5 hours later, and that includes using a crane to lift the condenser to the roof of my 4-story building, constructing new shelving for the unit, hooking it up, testing it out, etc. He and the two gentlemen with him were spotless and swept the floor when they left. Oh -- and I've NEVER had a service professional do this before -- before he left he said, "There's one more thing we need to do. You need to register your unit so you won't have any problems with the warranty. I can do it for you when I get back to the office, or I can walk you through it now." He then proceeded to walk me through the registration process on the Rheem website while I did it right then, online. Mind officially blown. All that's left now is for the inspector to sign off on the job, but I have no doubt this last part of the job will go smoothly. I will tell everyone I know about the high quality work done by Ventilation Pros Corp. They have a customer for LIFE in me!

We reached out because our ac wasn't working & leaking. They only fixed the leaking & proceeded to say the job was done. $400 later within 2 days it was leaking again. He took it apon himself to come check it out but didn't tell anyone when he was coming knocked & took a picture of the front door. Which I was upstairs getting ready for work by the time I came down to answer he was gone. Mind you he hasn't came to look himself & when my aunt asked for a guarantee he said there was none and naturally she got upset, and he started saying things to her over the phone & hung up. He sent over the 2 guys which one looks like he knows what he's doing & the other I can guess was his son. They came for no less than 10 minutes said it was fixed & left. Now it's present day 3:50am the ac still hasn't gone down reading 78 degrees so I just sent a text over explaining. I did not know what I was in for. Gilbert was super unprofessional & complaining to me saying I'm annoying.. I'll just post the screenshots anyways, I do not recommend them call ANYONE else please! Used their service again, but this time for a plumbing issue. The technician that came did not…read morespeak English and had difficulty explaining to me what the concern was however, he did get across that I needed to replace the toilets. The home is less than 10 years old so replacing toilets seemed a bit excessive. I ended up researching the noise the toilet was making myself and realized that it was something that can be fixed pretty easily. I called the manager and spoke to him regarding the poor advice received in regards to replacing the toilets, and he said they would send a second technician to assess the situation. Instead, he sent me a message stating that the initial technician was right and did not send another technician to assess . I ended up going with a different company who came and replaced the valve ...which successfully lowered my water bill by 50%. Problem fixed - without having to replace the entire toilet. I was initially a fan of NSP, but this last visit was very disheartening. I think if they had sent a second technician to evaluate what I was concerned about, they would have seen that the first technician was indeed wrong. I will not be using them again.

His hands-on involvement made a real difference in getting the project completed. The technicians, including Reydiel, were courteous, skilled, and did a great job. The project has now been completed, and we're happy with the quality of the work. Based on this experience, I would recommend the team--with the note that improving scheduling and urgency would make the overall service even stronger.

It seems he does not try to understand well what the customer is asking: his answer to my "why"s were not good. Details: He quoted me $150 to fix a low refrigerant issue. on visiting, he told me $260 saying that the system has 0 feon. That made me suspicios. The pressure of the system when off was over 200 PSI as shown in the attached picture. Suspecting that he was lying, I weighed myself with his 410 gas tank before he started putting in the refrigerant: 68.9kg. After he was done, I again weighed myself with the gas tank: 67.7kg. So he only put in about 2lb (1.2kg) of refrigerant, certainly less than 3lb. Even after seeing my weight measurements, he told me he put in 4lb. I asked him how did he came up with the 4lb number: he said by looking at the pressure readings: I think he knew he was bullshitting. The system label says it holds 68.8oz 410a (4.3 lb). so it was only about half empty. A 25lb gas tank costs ~300 so. the cost of 2lb 410a is less than $30. so he should have asked for $180 ($150+$30). After complaining, he did reduce the price from $260 to $200, which I consider fair (other quotes were $100-$250). My main issue is his deliberate-seeming low quote and what seems to be deliberate lying.
