We booked with the expectation of receiving a premium, reliable, and comfortable transportation service. Instead, we experienced significant safety concerns, poor vehicle conditions, and a lack of professionalism. Transfer to JFK -- Flat Tire and Unsafe Situation During our ride to the airport, we experienced a flat tire. The driver did not have the necessary equipment to change the tire, leaving us stranded in a potentially dangerous situation while trying to catch an international flight. We were forced to flag down another driver who happened to be passing by and pay him to take us the rest of the way to the airport. This was incredibly stressful and unacceptable. A professional transportation company should have the proper equipment and a plan in place to handle basic roadside emergencies. We were left to arrange and pay for alternative transportation ourselves. Transfer from JFK -- Incorrect Vehicle, No Air Conditioning, and Poor Communication Unfortunately, our return transfer was equally disappointing. We were picked up in a vehicle that contained trash and car seats and was in extremely poor condition. We were later informed that it was not even a customer-facing vehicle. To make matters worse, the vehicle had no working air conditioning, making the two-and-a-half-hour journey extremely uncomfortable. This is especially unacceptable when paying for a premium transportation service. The driver also provided very little communication, could not lift our luggage, needed us to assist with directions to our destination, and did not answer his phone which added to the frustration and made the experience feel unprofessional and poorly managed. It was a nightmare. Overall Experience The fact that we experienced significant issues on both transfers is particularly concerning. We paid for a premium transportation service and instead received: * An unsafe roadside situation during our airport transfer. * No meaningful assistance when we needed it. * The unexpected expense of arranging alternative transportation. * A vehicle that did not meet the expected standard for a customer-facing service. * No working air conditioning during a long journey. * Poor communication and an overall lack of professionalism. We formally contacted the owner of the company to express our concerns and request a full refund. We also requested an explanation of how these failures occurred and what steps would be taken to prevent other customers from experiencing similar treatment. We only received a 50% refund from the owner who was extremely difficult to get ahold of when we needed immediate assistance. My recommendation: Think twice before booking with this company. When paying for premium transportation, you should be able to expect safety, reliability, comfort, and professionalism. Unfortunately, our experience fell well below those expectations on both occasions. I would strongly encourage anyone considering booking with this company to carefully evaluate whether the service provided matches what they are paying for. ***Update following the owner's response: The owner's response is misleading. I was not issued a full refund, despite his claims. The service was absolutely unacceptable, and I'm extremely disappointed with how this company has handled the situation.
