When flying out of BDL recently I stopped in this Escape Lounge, which is like a "Centurion Lite" lounge. All the folks working here, especially the lovely young girl with the piercings at the bar were great! They were all so friendly and helpful, especially her. The lounge itself it actually a decent size, but was packed for the 3 hours I was in there. Thewy have lots of decent looking food on the buffet to try, but I didn't have any (wasn't hungry)... I also really needed to get work done and so I worked the entire time. I liked that there was plenty of seating that had outlets accessible to them so I could plug in. Overall, definitely one of the better Escape Lounges I've been to. I'll be back!

This was a much needed upgrade! They have one of those fancy machines that makes different kinds of coffee drinks and also dispenses hot water and milk. They also have a regular coffee machine with several types of milk- including almond milk. Food options for breakfast included scrambled eggs, pork sausage, scrambled eggs with cheese and vegetarian sausage, country potatoes, fruit and pastries. The staff here seem pretty friendly and used dishes were picked up quickly. It was very quiet when I arrived at 7:30am but it got quite crowded in here around 9am. They have two single gender neutral bathrooms which were very clean. I'm thrilled to have this new lounge at Bradley!!

Located in Terminal B, it is one of the largest Chase Sapphire Lounges at 21,000 sq ft over two floors. It is by far my favorite place to unwind before a flight. The 360 degree bar serves as a centerpiece in the lounge, making it feel like a super stylish NYC cocktail bar than an airport lounge. There is a bustling staff here, ensuring everything is clean and well supplied from food to bathrooms. While the food is far from fancy, it is a much more elevated version of what most lounges would offer. There is a QR code at every table that enables one to order food directly to the seat without having to get up for the buffet. I really enjoyed the corn polenta, potato salad, cold brew on tap, and ice cold seltzer water. There are different areas that accommodate all kinds of guests. For families with young children, there's a dedicated play area, as well as a nursing room. There are privatee phone rooms and dedicated work areas for the laptop warriors (#1) with very speedy WiFi. There's a retro game room tucked behind the family area, with games like shuffleboard, pinball, and a jukebox. Additionally, there is a wellness area that includes facial treatments via Face Haus, along with guided meditation and private rest pods. The facial treatments are complimentary, but advanced reservations are required and availability is limited. While there may be a lot of Sapphire card holders, the crowds haven't been too significant during my experiences. LGA has already leveled up as of the last several years, and the Chase Sapphire Lounge makes flying here that much sweeter. I would recommend coming early to soak up the amenities and before boarding any flight. __________ (#1) Guilty.

We arrived a little after 2:30pm and probably checked in at around 3pm. When I say that having the priority pass you are pretty much the bottom of their priority. Priority definitely wasn't a priority for this location. We didn't get in until about 5:15-5:30pm already. 2 1/2 hours of wait. I personally think they need to change their set up here where after 10 credit card members let one priority pass member in or something. Once we got in we went downstairs and checked in and gave our membership. I ran in to some minor issues where my qr code wasn't working for my priority pass but I had my actual member card which eventually worked. Once we were in there was an array of selection for food, dessert, drinks and drinks from the bar. You can order food on their qr code which is all included in your membership. Honestly, besides the long wait everything else was great once you get inside. All the food, drinks and snacks were all great. Customer service was amazing as well.

The staff greeted us warmly at the entrance and said goodbye when we left, making the experience feel extra special. Overcrowded, weak offerings, not to mention sometimes you can't even get in, no less get a seat. I recently gave up the credit card that allowed for "free" Admiral's Club membership, those these seem to be the most ubiquitous. I have Priority Pass and barely use it, especially if I'm with my husband because it costs too much IMO for a companion pass (love how they keep whittling away those perks). But on a recent visit to terminal 4 prior to a transatlantic flight, I knew I needed to see if I could at least get a snack and some water, so when I saw the Capital One Lounge, I went for it. I was greeted by the nicest lady who patiently walked me through entry, even though I stupidly left my boarding pass and credit cards about a half a mile away at my gate with my husband. You don't need Priority Pass to enter, just a Capital One card, I believe any tier. Guests can get a pass at 50 dollars, I believe. I guess it's worth it if your guest drinks a lot and has no dietary restrictions. I was pretty impressed with the amount of seating, work stations and tables and easily found a seat. While the cold bar only had one plant based option (thank you for clearly marking dietary restrictions), the menu that you order from had zero. I had the quickest, tiniest snack (I think it was couscous?) and filled my water bottle and went on my way. The bathrooms are private, clean and there's also showers available. Overall a much more positive experience than a lot of lounges (if I can even get in-- Priority Pass is really not good and I'll be moving to a lower tier Capital One card when it comes time to renew).

It's a spacious lounge with plenty of seating, shower suites, and a solid selection of food and beverages. That said, I noticed in my visits that a lounge of this size can still feel overwhelmed during peak travel periods. Just outside the lounge, the United Airlines 100th-anniversary exhibit offers a fun trip down memory lane, tracing the evolution of air travel and giving a glimpse into United's history. I enjoyed my visit overall and particularly appreciated having access to the shower suites when I needed one. The only disappointment was that the hot water wasn't working quite as well as it should have. Nonetheless, it was a welcome amenity and a nice way to freshen up before a flight. Highly recommend!

United Club - C123 (Newark Airport)…read more This is one of the most modern and beautiful United Lounges I've visited. Debuted, May 2022. The largest United Club location for United Airlines. It spans 30,000 Square Feet. Comfortably accommodating over 400 travelers. LOUNGE: Hats off to who designed and built this lounge. It shows how much passion and love they put into this 30,000 SQFT project. The way to get to this lounge is go past C123 gate and up the escalator. Depending on peak hours, by the entrance, you may have to form a line. Once you enter, the first thing you'll see is a large book shelf with table in front of it. Go past those shelves to the left and through the hallway. This is where all your main lounge will be. Your eyes may get wide and you may feel slightly overwhelmed of how much space there is, like I did. They offer so much seating that you're sure to find a spot to unwind, relax or get some work done. Throughout the space, they have large windows to allow natural lighting. Some of the seating faces the windows for you to enjoy watching the planes. The space was exceptionally clean. I didn't see any trash laying around. The staff did a wonderful job coming up to the guests that finished with their dishes and asked, "May I take that from you?" FOOD: I was on a six hour layover here and I was able to enjoy breakfast and lunch. I have to say, for a lounge that can accommodate over 400 travelers, they were on top of it. They kept bring hot breakfast items. They offered variety of options including healthy options. I prefer eating healthy and some of the other locations don't offer good healthy options. Here, you have turkey sausage and links with egg whites. They have a large space for your breakfast sandwiches, wraps and fresh fruit. A yogurt and oatmeal area with all your toppings available. I didn't get a chance to stay too long for lunch, but I was able to see if they serve good lunch and they did. They offered chicken with penne pasta and many other options. For lunch, they also offered healthy options. Hot beverages are available through their Coffee machines or you can ask at the bar for any additional drink options. Good food options here, overall. SHOWER SUITES: This location offers multiple suites for you to take a shower before or after your long flight. I was able to take a nice shower after my long flight to Newark, and it was so refreshing. The suite was clean, offering good amounts of towels. They provide complimentary, Perricone MD Shower Gel, Conditioner and Soap. Overall, this is a great feature to have at this club. Not all United Club locations offer shower rooms. STAFF: After visiting multiple United Club locations, I would have to say the entire staff working here are just absolutely amazing. They are so helpful and kind, regardless if this is your first visit or you're experienced traveler. Any questions you may have about the space, or flight information, they are here to assist you with a genuine smile. If you just need someone to talk to, they're happy to spike up a conversation with you. OVERALL: If you're traveling domestically or internationally with one of the Star Alliance members, this is a great place to unwind, relax while you're waiting for your departure. I've been at this lounge several times and I am looking forward to continue my visits.

If you have time before your flight, don't miss the 1850 Speakeasy tucked inside the lounge. It's a fun addition and serves well-crafted specialty cocktails in a more intimate setting. One of my favorite features was the view overlooking the tarmac. It's a great place to relax while watching the constant flow of aircraft taxiing and taking off. The WiFi was advertised but did not show up as a network and they had no forks available. A good Centurion location but not the best I've seen.
