We were looking around for places to go and didn't want it to be to costly. Never thought Aruba would be affordable for us, but she made it happen. And boy was this a fantastic trip. The hotel she found us was located on palm beach which was amazing in itself, however, within steps from the hotel door were shops and restaurants and anything we needed. We chose not to do all inclusive which was perfect. Every day for seven days we had a different restaurant for breakfast luncheon dinner. All within minutes of our hotel walking distance. We walked everywhere. Such amazing food. Oh yes, and she reminded me when it was time for us to fill out the ED card because if not, I would've forgotten. We even booked our excursions through her and they were fabulous. I cannot rave enough about Susan and our experience. I'm so glad that I found her.

I asked one of the agents at Adler Travel to help me book a trip to Madrid and Paris so that my…read moredaughter, an art student, could see the great museums. The agent did competently book flights and hotels, and I'm choosing to see that as a "glass half-full". But she needed a couple of reminders and she took a couple weeks longer than she said she would. And really, in a world where we all have TripAdvisor, I'm not sure that saved me more than 4 or 5 hours versus doing it on my own. Where I really could have used help, there was none. I was very clear about the purpose of the trip and the museums we intended to visit. Those museums are currently deluged with tourists and all now require booking time slots weeks in advance. If we had shown up without pre-booked tickets, we would have been turned away, negating the entire purpose of the trip and wasting thousands of dollars. This kind of information - learned from personal trips to the destination or previous bookings - is the real added value a travel agent should provide. Our agent provided none. Luckily for us, I learned about the need for pre-booking from Rick Steves' books before it was too late to get in. It was too late to get the time-slots we wanted, however. Some of the slots were decidedly inconvenient. A few weeks' earlier start would have been extremely helpful - a heads-up from the agent would have made a huge difference. Our agent was simply MIA after the initial bookings. She did finally respond to an email requesting help booking flights from Madrid to Paris - after I'd already booked them myself - with apologies about missing my email in her very full inbox. I had to do all of the research and booking for the museums myself, something that took many hours. Every agency has multiple agents with different levels of experience and enthusiasm for the job. Adler has a good enough local reputation that I'm sure some of the other agents are more helpful. But my experience with my agent was not great. I credit Rick Steves for a successful trip, not my agent. If I hadn't checked those books, it would have been a complete fiasco.

Luckily, John made everything beyond easy! We went in for a meeting with a few key ideas: all inclusive, on the beach, adults only. After a few more questions John quickly came up with several options. He made the process even easier by reserving everything for us, and telling us what to expect at each step of our travels. We had the BEST TIME in Mexico at El Dorado Maroma! Completely stress free vacation, exactly like we wanted :) We can not wait to go back and plan our next vacation through Adler Travel!

Sofia made the process of booking a trip as worry free as possible. If we had any questions or concerns, she had detailed answers that made us feel confident in our booking. Very attentive, always reachable, patient and kind. Absolutely trust and adore Boujee Baecations Travel Agency, and will only be booking through them for future excursions!

I was in contact with Michelle and was very disappointed with everything that happened. I had to cancel my credit card and called her with my new information. She charged the second card, but never updated my information in the system so when she went to charge me for a shuttle (that she wasn't very clear about the price and I needed to ask her to clarify several times) she charged my canceled credit card and was obviously declined. She emailed me asking for a new card instead of calling...I am not sending my credit card info through an email. She never updated my card info on the system which makes me wonder if my card number is floating around her office on a post it somewhere. When we were booking the shuttles, I was very clear saying that I wasn't sure what my friend was doing since she was trying to change her flight and that I was just booking for me. I sent MY flight details and she also booked my friend and charged her too. I had to call and correct this and spoke to another woman in the office who was very understanding and tried her best to remedy the situation. She said that Michelle said my friend sent her flight info when she never did. She booked my friend for the shuttle using my itinerary when my friend wasn't on either flight and wasn't even returning the same day. She mailed us cute little bags with our itinerary and a luggage tag which I did appreciate since it helped me to keep my things organized. My itinerary said that my friend and I had a room with two double beds. When we arrived we were given a king size bed to share. I called the lobby and they said that's what was booked and they didn't have any more double rooms available. As much as I don't mind sharing a bed with my friend, why should I have to? That's not what we booked. I wrote Michelle an email where I was clearly frustrated with all of her errors and she wrote me a really rude response. I understand that I may have come across as irritated and pissed off, but as a client I felt I had the right to be since I've been going back and forth with her all week correcting her mistakes. I chose to ignore her snotty response. Later I got another email telling me if I wanted I could try to change rooms the next day. When you're only in a hotel for two days do you really want to switch rooms for the second night? Everything about this ordeal was awful. I could have done her job in 5 minutes with no mistakes but felt like I had to go through her since the invite for the wedding said to contact her. I'm just happy I booked my own flights so there were no mistakes with that, unlike my friends that booked their flights through her. I recommend doing your own travel booking or using a different company.

Jared was extremely communicative from our very first conversation. He took the time to listen to…read moreexactly what I needed for my family's transportation to and from the airport, offered his recommendations, and gave me different vehicle options based on our needs. He even sent me photos of the vehicles ahead of time, which I really appreciated. For our trip to the airport, we chose the Chevy Suburban, and for our return home, we used the van. Both vehicles were excellent, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, spacious, and clearly well maintained. From the moment Jared arrived, he was incredibly friendly and professional. Before we even left the house, he made sure everyone was comfortable and even asked if we had double-checked that we hadn't forgotten anything for our trip. That small detail really showed how much he cares about the people he transports. Another thing I really liked was the reservation email. Everything was clearly explained, and I also noticed that additional food/snack service can be arranged upon request. Both the Suburban and the van already had bottled water, candy, charging cables for different types of phones, and excellent air conditioning, everything you could need to make the ride more comfortable. What impressed me the most was Jared's attention to our flights. He monitored both our departure and return flights for any delays. On our way back, our flight was delayed, and I was a little concerned about how that would affect our pickup. As soon as we landed, I already had a message from Jared letting me know that he was aware of the delay and was already there waiting for us. That level of service gave me so much peace of mind. I highly recommend Jared and his transportation service. I was so happy with the experience that I have already booked him for my next two trips. This is truly a high-standard, professional service, and the cost is absolutely fair for the level of comfort, attention, reliability, and service provided. Thank you, Jared, for such a great experience and, most importantly, for providing my family with comfort, safety, and peace of mind throughout our transportation. We truly appreciate it!

You expect an agent to be able to personalize an itinerary based on her own travel experience and on her understanding of your individual interests and budget. As we have discovered, Eva instead relies on her "business partners," mega-agencies whom she keeps at arm's length from her customers. This two-step makes the process of travel planning unnecessarily complicated, time consuming, impersonal and error-prone. My impression is that Eva places commissions above customers. For example, she tried to tie a refund to our agreeing to spend three times its value on future trips. I am sorry to be one-sided in my comments but I have never experienced a service business quite as emotionally exhausting and untrustworthy. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, or these days DIY.
