Emerald originally installed our sprinkler system in 2021 and has provided the bi-yearly service ever since. The original install was done professionally, quick and they made it an easy process for us. The cost was very competitive and we felt it was good value for the price. The team knew exactly what they were doing and ensured we had a good understanding of how the system worked once complete. I have been very disappointed with this company. Not only are they unfamiliar with the type of sprinkler system that I have, but on more than one occasion gave me inaccurate information about my system and suggested work that was not necessary. In addition, they fail every spring to position the sprinkler heads correctly so that a part of my lawn doesn't die, and then when I don't bring it to their attention within 10 days of opening the sprinklers in the spring because I am not using the sprinklers yet that early , they charge me to come out and fix their mistake. The woman who handles intake in the office is also quite rude when you try to bring this stuff to her attention. I will not be renewing. read more

The installation itself went fine. But it is NIGHTMARE to work with the ladies on the phone. They talk to you SO RUDELY and with ARROGANCE as if they are doing some charity work. I have had to call them numerous times to follow up on permits and swapping the complimentary service with de-winterizing the sprinkler system and every time I have to deal with the CONDESCENDING tone. It is not worth the hassle to go with this company for the sprinkler system needs. Even a DMV rep would treat you with better respect, if you know what I mean. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! I paid them $150 to flush out the sprinkler system in the spring, only to find out they didn't turn it on, but instead cut the wires and told us they could fix the system for $900 cash or $1000 card. Another company fixed the wires and our sprinkler system was restored for less than $200. read more

Very disappointing. Apologies for the long review but context is important. I was a customer for a few years. The install crew was rough and caused some damage but it was manageable. Ever year I bought their contract so they would winterize in the fall and start-up in the spring thinking that would prevent issues. It doesn't. Every year at start-up they found something had "broken" over the winter that they claimed wasn't their fault. Every spring I paid to replace the broken item. This year it happened again. The joint broke where the head connects under ground. After telling the start-up crew I wasn't going to pay to fix something as a result of not winterizing it properly, they told me I had to contact the office. After multiple phone calls and messages over a week their office staff finally told me I needed to talk to Donna. It took another two weeks of phone calls and messages and still Donna never called me back. Finally I got Donna on the phone and she was nothing but confrontational from the start. Their motto should be "The customer is always wrong!" She claimed she never received any of my voicemails and never got any of the messages I left with her office staff. She refused to even entertain the idea that it could be a result of poor winterization and even told me at one point that irrigation pipes that are 8" underground don't freeze anyway because the earth warms them?!? She then compared my sprinkler system to her home pool filter and said that when her filter needs replacing, she doesn't blame the pool guy. When I told her that analogy doesn't apply, she then accused me of just looking for free service. I told her I just wanted them to do the right thing or they would lose me as a customer. She was fine with losing the customer. Again, very disappointing and really bad customer service. I would not recommend. **Update** It's been about two weeks since I wrote this review. While they immediately responded to this review in a seemingly professional manner (as you can see), they haven't actually done anything to address the issue. They haven't even tried to reach out to me. Again, I would not recommend. read more

Dawel and Henry were here yesterday to start up my irrigation system. They did an excellent job and made sure that all the sprinkler heads were working properly. These guys got out quick and since they had done great work in the past for the sellers of our home we just recently purchased, it was a done deal we'd use them to check up on the system. There were a few issues the sellers had kinda ignored for awhile that we needed repaired and they did it the day of the initial visit. Beware they are very unprofessional and will damage your house. The woman in the office is very rude and nasty!!

I would give them zero starts if I could. This business is only interested in securing your lawn contract to later on charge extra fees every season. I have been a customer for 7 years and their customer services is terrible. It is extremely hard to get ahold of them when things go wrong. Expect to wait 3-4 weeks in the Spring and Summer to get sprinkler services started or to have an issue fixed, while your Lawn and Landscape dries out. They overcharge often and are definitely understaffed. I talked directly to the Owner Donna to get issues resolved and she basically said that I 'like everyone else waited for last minute to call them' and so I had to wait a minimum of 3 weeks to get service. Alternately I could pay them double and they would come right away. Money money money... Really dissatisfied with this business. read more

Poor service and questionable Business practice. Fall 2021, First year I called Emerald to winterize my system. 9 Days after they blew my sprinklers out, I coincidentally began having plumbing issues inside my home. Ended up replacing leaky Pressure Regulator valve to my entire house and a Backflow-Preventer on Sprinkler system. This Spring 2022 I discovered that my dedicated Water supply to the sprinkler system is apparently leaking/running even though all Sprinkler Zones are off. When I called Emerald and explained my concerns and that I wanted them to come inspect the leak, they insisted on charging me $105.00 just to come out and look. The rep talked in speculative circles about any possible reason it couldn't have been the Winterization Tech's fault in order to justify the "Doorbell Fee." All I asked was for the courtesy of someone to come out and confirm whether or not the Winterization caused the issue. We could then take it from there. But apparently asking a Service Provider to come and inspect possible damage from a Service they themselves provided, is viewed as "wasting their time." Please don't waste their time.... or yours. read more

The sprinklers were installed in front and back. Schedule was fast 1 1/2 weeks after calling they were installed. The technicians were very helpful when they came out ! Very informative pleasant and knowledgeable. Came home to find 3 bricks in my back yard and 2 bricks in front yard ( newly installed patio and front walk way) as well as my 1 year old back door damaged. Husband called and they returned call week and half later just to offer 100$ for all damages. Shortly after all sprinklers were installed was rototill my front yard to lay sod and two of the pipes were only 3 inches under ground .... recommended depth should be 8-12 inches. Sliced the pipe in half Called company to fix the pipe so I can continue . Woman on phone said she will try to have someone out same day and someone will be calling me. NOONE CALLED BACK. Emerald installed my sprinklers several years ago and I have had problems ever since. I have an annual maintenance contract but every year something else goes wrong and they hit me with additional charges. Time for me to find a new sprinkler company. read more

Moved into town about few years ago and initially used another sprinkler company our former home owner used, since we were too busy to ask around at the time. After that we learned a lesson, as the initial company was an extremely small local family business comprised of mostly their immediate family (a kind of business we typically go out of our way to support), yet they seemed like their doing us a favor to "get us" on their schedule, since their staff was so busy (which would happen if the service tech crew is limited to a few guys.) Additionally, their actual service and our lawn sprinkler coverage was ok at best. After year one, we asked around a friend of our recommended Emerald, since then we've been very pleased with Emerald. Scheduling a service call at a convenient time is always easy with their office staff. Today we had Nick and Andres handle our season start-up and they did a great job. Their techs are usually very good. We've been so pleased with their service we recommended them to neighbors and friends. A few of which are now using Emerald as well and are also happy with their service. read more

I just had them at my residence. I had numerous problems with my system that quite honestly I did not have time to fix myself. They are very busy and it took a little while to get an appointment however, they kept their promise and showed up on time on the date and time that they gave me. The two technicians that worked on the system were Nesto and Henry. They worked quite well together. While one was changing the controller and rain sensor the other was working on the problems with my heads and broken equipment. They did a terrific job and the system works perfectly.
