This is a no frills clean quiet campground. We got one of the concrete pull thru sites…read more We stayed one night but I would love to have stayed longer. We will definitely be going back. The campground is behind Sonny's BBQ and Beef 'O' Brady's . We walked to Beef 'O' Brady's for dinner and it was wonderful. Across the street is Walmart and down the street is a Flying J. This campground is small which I love. Lots of grass and very quiet. There is laundry facilities we did not use. Do not use the back exit off the campground unless it is just a vehicle. It is a big bump. There are warning signs. We signed up online and did our checkin in process in an email so we never saw anyone. There is a camp host at the entrance near the building. Over all a great campground. Our Garmin GPS gave us wrong directions but we knew the campground was behind Sonny's.

However, there are a couple of things that should bementioned. The turn from Highway 71 onto Malloy Plaza East (the road that leads to the campground driveway) is a very tight turn and difficult to make during peak traffic time. My relatively short (36 ft) fifth wheel would have climbed the curb had another driver, who was waiting at the light, not backed up to give me room to turn. The other thing, if you want a site with a concrete, level pad make sure you book a pull through. If you go with the deluxe back in, you will be on grass. These sites are full hook up, and relatively level, but certainly not comparable to the pull through sites.

It offers many amenities, but we didn't use most of them. It's a walk or golf cart ride to the office. The shower facilities and laundromat were spotless.

I'm not a glamper, but I do like my amenities like full hook ups, WiFi and Cable TV. Unlike Dave who would like us to camp in a swamp lol! We arrived pretty late about 6:30 and the nice lady who I spoke to left our campsite and info on a board entering the campsite. The simplicity of the area, cotton fields, very small towns, pecan trees, made this campsite very beautiful without all the glitz and glamor of some larger parks. We got a very large pull through site surrounded by Bermuda grass. We were able to go and get dinner in the lovely town of Americus and bring it back with us. There is a bath house, a store, a dog park and it is situated next to a golf course. They even offer free nine holes. Though we didn't use any of the amenities, because of COVID 19, it's nice to know that they are there. The place is totally pet friendly with pet stations and waste bags. Coming here has been a great start to our vacation or whatever you can call it. We have been pretty much quarantined in Cape Coral looking at each other since March lol! It is like a breath of fresh air with the exception of our masks!
