One of the best parks/playgrounds for children under 7 on a hot hot hot day! Ample parking, but you have to walk far. I didn't think there was much field for free play and not a lot of picnic tables. This park will always be special to me. It is always so clean, well lit and well maintained. They have a great tennis court, basketball court, baseball field, soccer field and skate park. We spend a lot of time here in the spring and summer. And it is the only park that I feel safe walking my dog in past 9 p.m. There is always ample lights. This is a long-overdue review of my favorite park. It holds a special place in my heart since it's where we celebrated our son's fifth birthday party. We rented a covered spot with clean BBQ grills and restrooms. It was the perfect spot. During the pandemic, this was one of the first places where I felt a little back to normal. There are always friendly people around, and the area near the water fountain is our favorite place to eat take-out food. Our families met for our Thanksgiving potluck lunch the last time we were here. We brought extra tables and chairs and enjoyed a casual lunch on a beautiful day. 5 stars for this huge park that has it all, and everything that's here comes in a size large!! Multiple soccer fields, multiple baseball/softball fields, 2 basketball courts, multiple parking lots, restrooms, batting cages, tennis courts, just a lot cause there is a lot of space here. Now, THIS is what I call a beautiful park! Emerald Glen, you are so damn dreamy. Since the start of COVID, I've kind of become a park bum. I never used to hang out at the parks all like that, but now I crave for park excursions. Picnics. Naps. Laying out and getting some sun. Reading a book. Yelping outside. This has become my new luxury. Some parks are better than others for this, but Emerald Glen is state of the art babyyyy! So, let's talk about it; This. Park. Is. HUGE! Oh naw, naw... this ain't yo typical neighborhood park. Emerald Glen comes equipped with batting cages, soccer fields, basketball courts, swimming pools, water slides, barbecue pits, bocce ball courts, tennis courts, picnic areas, field space and so much more. Parking is ample and there are clean restrooms on site. They have a large kids play area and huge grassy fields that make it super easy to spread out and social distance. They keep this place immaculately clean and well manicured. There are a few paved walking paths that circle around and through the park. It's perfect for walking, running, or even for just a quick stroll. My favorite part of the park are those vibrantly green fields. Sooo much space to spread out and lounge around. I had a little picnic here and it was so enjoyable! When the weather is warm, this is the perfect place to chill out. You can find a nice shady spot near the trees. It's a busy park as you can imagine. But since it's so large, it doesn't feel like it's busy. This definitely one of the prettiest Bay Area parks that I've been to. When I'm in the area again, I place to stop back here again to have another picnic. read more

There's a lot of playground structure, a sand box, and splash pad all in one spot. Surrounding the play area are trees that gives shade to tired mommies (and daddies). If that's not enough for you, there's a nearby waterpark called The Wave, adults get in for about 15$ and small kids 4$. This park is a gem and worth the drive (from Hayward). Wow, Emerald Glen Park is one of the best for family picnics and play dates. They have picnic tables but it's just as good to set-up matts and portable tents on the grass if you can find some shade. Speaking of grass, its really green, clean, and well-maintained. Guess the grass is greener in Dublin, LOL! They don't seem to have lots of jungle gyms/playgrounds for kids. However, they have a place for basketball along with a baseball, soccer, tennis, and skateboarding. I also love the many tree-lined walkways around the park. For those of you who like playing in the water, the Dublin Wave Park is co-located on the same property. Will definitely plan to come here more often. They have a fairly clean central restroom facility and lots of trash and recycle bins throughout. Also, multiple parking lots to access the park. I recommend using Google Map to navigate to Dublin Wave to find parking near the open picnic areas and proximity to restrooms and trash bins. You know, for those diaper changes after a big meal. read more

Gorgeous park in Dublin with a really pretty rose garden in full bloom despite it being August. There are 2 play areas surrounding a water play area for kids. Plenty of space for picnic blankets and we even saw a few birthday parties (both reserved and non reserved) at the park. Right next door is the Wave and we can't wait to check it out! read more

We started from Emerald Glen Park on our group's hike of the Tassajara Creek Trail and then walked the perimeter of the Park on our return from the trail. This is probably the most impressive city park that I've seen. First, it is huge park at 48 acres. The amenities? Baseball, softball and soccer fields, batting cages, cricket pitches, lighted tennis and basketball courts, bocce ball courts, lighted skateboard park, picnic areas with grills, playground, and a rose garden. There are plentiful parking and clean and well maintained restrooms. There's more. The park has an Aquatic Complex named The Wave, which consists of an indoor and outdoor pool, Splash Zone and a waterslide. Impressive park. Residents in the area are so fortunate to have this park in their backyards. I wouldn't mind visiting and enjoying this park again. read more

We come to this park often due to how much space is available for public use. Our favorite is walking around the rose garden when it's in full bloom! It was my first time to visit this park and it's quite lovely! We did a small little picnic in the picnic area which you can reserve. There's lots of tables to sit as well as garbage and wash stations. The restrooms are also right there. They have a large soccer field that folks were running around and just enjoying the sunny day. There was also a playground for you kiddos and big kids. The closest parking lot is actually in the lot for The Wave. Otherwise the larger parking area is a walk across the sports field. Definitely a great place to walk, run, play, walk your dog, hang out socially distanced with your friends. I hope to come back again some day. read more

Another great park we discovered in Dublin. This park is huge and has so many different activities you can do. There is a pretty good side kids playground, slides, sandbox and also a super fun kids water area. And I'm the other side of the park, there are basketball courts, skatepark and baseball field. Plenty of space to ride your bike or scooter. A bonus on Saturdays there is a farmers market, so grab your food and have a picnic right after. read more

One of the best parks I've gone to so far. There's just so much to do. There is an indoor swim area for those that want swim lessons. Outside there are many obstacles on play on like toddler-safe rocks to climb, normal playground, etc. The open area is also huge here! We saw many people flying kites (I will be buying my own kite now). The landscaping is so beautiful--white pedals falling from trees reminds me of the almond orchards in Woodside. Dublin is so much closer than Woodside though! I came here to create content for my small business (@thecolorspaceco) and it felt so nice to create content without worrying about coming into contact with other people bc there was just so much open space! It is a huge park! It seems very safe as well. read more

This is one of my favorite local parks! There is SO much there. A skatepark, a park for playing, tons of beautiful areas to sit and admire the artwork, walking areas, grass, etc. It's right next to The Wave (an indoor pool park in Dublin) and easily accessible with loads of parking. I go here whenever I need to clear my mind and just chill out. There is enough space to socially distance from everyone and take some time to yourself to relax. I highly recommend giving Emerald Glen a chance and visiting if you're ever in the area! read more

An absolutely lovely park. Located in Dublin, it's developed in a newer section and surrounded by a nice community of $1M homes (hey, welcome to the area). Whether it's picnic'ing, bbq'ing, walking, basketball, volleyball, tennis, soccer, baseball, football, Bocce ball, cricket, or The Wave ($) water park, skate park, or just enjoying the rose garden -- it's very large, and has something for just about everyone. Not comparable to a Central Park or a Golden Gate, which are in a class by themselves, but this is definitely in the tier just below. read more

What a nice park to have a kid's birthday party! I was a guest to a 1 year old birthday party and had an awesome time. Restrooms were extremely clean and I saw a staff member come by to check up on things. The playground looked like fun, but I didn't participate. Sidewalks were also nicely paved and clean, as well as the parking lot. My favorite part was the nice, well-kept grass. In between eating birthday cake and other goodies, I'd lie down on the manicured grass. The light breeze on a hot day made it super relaxing. If I still lived in the bay area, I'd have an adult birthday party at this park! However, park reservations are only available to residents of Dublin. read more

This is the most family friendly park in Dublin that is not overrun by blocked off baseball fields. So much of this park is usable by the general public, and there is plenty of grass and open field, flat land and small hills. Great for kids, exercising/running and general family activities. It is kept up by the City very well. read more

Review #231 - 2018 I came across this park while yelping for a park that had a water park since my daughter had so much fun when we were in San Jose the last time. This time, I showed up prepared with a swimsuit for her, a towel robe and an extra change of clothes. We showed up around 6:45 PM and it was still nice and sunny, but not too crazy hot because I didn't want her to end up with a bad case of sunburn. There were a lot of parents and their kids playing at the park, but the majority were at the water park since it was a pretty hot day. Most of the kids were well behaved and the parents did a pretty good job of watching over their kids. I only had to tell one kid who was actually the oldest one, to stop throwing his shoes in the air while all the other kids were playing and he was sweet enough to stop after just one warning. There was another lady who had a young toddler that wanted to say something to that kid, but she seemed afraid that she might offend his parent or something. Since the kid is Asian and I'm Asian, his mom can deal with me, but she wasn't around so everything was ok. read more

This park is so huge. It has lots of soccer nets and I saw a youth group playing a game of soccer too. This park also has a small water park with slides. Never seen that before! This park has everything and is really big! There's 2 playgrounds, with one of them being a "water" park during the summer. Lots of slides, sand boxes, swings, and climbing structures. There's a rock structure/ slide that's really cool to climb on, even for adults! There's basketball courts, tennis courts, a baseball field, a skateboard park, several large fields for soccer and kite flying, BBQ and picnic area, public bathrooms, rose garden, multiple benches, and a relaxing water fountain. I love walking down the path thats lined on both sides with a row of trees. It's a very pretty park!
