An awesome park located in the heart of San Ramon!!! A very spacious park, it has a half court basketball court, kids play area, tennis courts, a small amphitheater, a skate park, and a grassy sports field area. Very clean and very popular, it was crowded when I came here and was I was lucky to find a parking spot available. And the community center is here also, right next to City Hall!!

I came to this park for a soccer tournament. The fields were nice. They have a lot of parking. The playground looked big and covered seating. They had some vendors out selling snow cones and Menchie's yogurt. I'm not sure if that's an all the time thing or because there was a tournament going on. It's a nice park.

Love going for a run here and walking my fur babies. It's a beautiful, well maintained park surrounded by trees, greenery and sport fields in the middle of San Ramon. It's conveniently located right across the street from the library. What a treasure to have in San Ramon...

One of the things COVID has done FOR us, as opposed to done TO us, is that it has forced us to venture beyond our comfort zone. Especially into nature and the various parks and recreation areas our tax dollars pay for. Where I used to have a monthly restaurant rotation, now I have a monthly park rotation! Central Park in San Ramon is firmly in my park rotation. I happily drive over 10 miles from my home to this park for the following reasons: - soccer and baseball fields, tennis courts, and a jogging track - a nice breeze usually blowing in from the ocean - covered area where one can shelter from the elements - benches and picnic tables to gather with your bubble, or just sit and rest - functioning, well-stocked and clean bathrooms - adequate parking - easy access from the freeway So if you're looking for a nice park to go for some exercise or spend some time with loved ones, head on over. You're welcome!

I come to this area occasionally and had no idea about this awesome park until yesterday. We spent a wonderful evening walking and hanging out with friends on a beautiful day. There is a lot of greenery and a lot of open space, tennis courts, and a small basketball court.

Great park with shade and running paths.

Beautiful public park! This park is well maintained with many areas for different sports-soccer fields, basketball courts, sand volleyball. Plus, there's a playground and an outdoor amphitheater. I appreciate the clean bathrooms located throughout.

On July 4th, the City of San Ramon kicked off its first concert in the park of 2021 with Fleetwood Mask from the San Francisco Bay Area dedicated to being the Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band! The park was packed and great fun was had by all. Food trucks, wine, beer, great music, great weather, you couldn't ask for a better event. Other upcoming Summer Concert in the Park events: July 11 Mercy & the the Heartbeats (Pop Favorites 70's-Today) July 18 CC Seger (Tribute to Bob Seger & Creedence Clearwater Revival) July 25 Sona (Classic Rock & Today's Hits) August 1 VDAZE (Bollywood Music) August 8 Mustache Harbor (Yacht Rock) All the concerts are at the San Ramon Central Park Amphitheater are free and begin at 5:30 pm.

Kids love the splash pad. Specifically sailing boats down the river. Nice shaded areas for parents to sit and watch.

Ask the Community - San Ramon Central Park

Is there a walking path? What's the distance and is it a loop?

Is the splash pad still on through September? When is the last day they turn the water on?

Can you see fire works from the park

Does this park have a basketball court? Last I heard it was torn down for City Hall.

There used be be 3 full courts and a half court that was separate. They got rid of all 3 full courts. There is now only a half court next to the tennis courts. Used to be the most popular courts in the East Bay until they decided to rip them out to… Read more

A whole family of cows greeted us at the gate. There were cute baby cows too. After the cows finally left the gate entrance, we opened it and walked into the trail. It was pretty steep going uphill but once you got up the hill, the views were beautiful and reminded me of Dorset England. I just saw a documentary about Dorset and this looks just like it. Rolling green hills and valleys. With the blue skies, it was so peaceful. It's not a crowded place so we really enjoyed the peace of it. Lots of families with children hike here. It's such a safe place to get fresh air and exercise. We will definitely come back for another hike and lunch afterwards.

There's a larger park - with a zip line, a little obstacle play structure + slide, swings, and many more activities. There's also a smaller park on the other side that's suitable for younger children. You can also find shaded areas to sit and eat down at. A large grass field to run around or fly a kite. And a trail that goes around the park - perfect for walking, biking, or roller blading. I mentioned earlier that the main park was crowded, but the green area is very quiet and peaceful. I'm considering having one of my kid's birthday party's here. I truly enjoyed it. And I got to try out Mister Softee for the first time - which was parked out front for the day.

There was also an area where there were hammocks, a monument area, and even a community garden. There were also multiple bridges all spread throughout the park. The playground is a great place to bring kids, I loved the amenities they had, such as a jungle playground, zip line, and a giant slide for kids ages 5-12. This is a great place to bring your kids to play, and awesome place to walk your dog. There is a huge field of grass in the center of it all. We also saw cyclists.
