Great food with low prices! Staff are friendly and helpful! Lunch/Dinner with a show!

Food: Bad. Ordered Hunan Chicken, not hot and tasted bland. Ordered General Tso's Chicken, overall terrible. Took some home and threw it out. Did not taste anything like what has been ordered in other Chinese Restaurants. Chips that came with duck sauce as an appetizer were burnt. Service: Bad. Never received the ordered Iced Tea but was charged for it. The food orders were given to the wrong persons. The server didn't know nor care who order what as he was circling the plates above us before placing them down in the wrong place. Atmosphere: Hard and old. Booths had seats that were so old that resulted in sink way down in them. The place needs painted and refreshed. With so many good Chinese places around I'll never go there again. read more

When we want Chinese this is our go to restaurant. Prompt service with a smile- very sweet staff that aims to please. The Emeralds chicken is a favorite and we almost always order the cold sesame noodles appetizer. The restaurant is always clean. Never had a bad meal here dining in or taking it home. 100% reccomend checking them out. read more

My favorite Chinese place in Shrewsbury closed down, so I decided to try this place. Got a variety of items to taste for my first time coming here. I got the Taiwan style rice noodles, vegetable lo mein, crab rangoon, and some sushi. The highlight of this place is that they actually serve sushi. They have an option where you can get 3 rolls for $13. I got California roll, and 2 avocado rolls. In total, it was about 20 pieces for $13, which I thought is a great price and value. The avocado in the sushi was brown, but still tasty. The sushi was probably the best part of the meal, but it still wasn't the best. The lo mein was decent, better than some other places. Noodles dry in some parts, and not many vegetables. My Taiwan rice noodles, was the biggest disappointment, it was not the mei fun I was craving. Some weird mystery meat in there, I didn't even select any meat option for it. It also had shredded lettuce throughout it, which was a first for me. Not as flavorful as it should've been, but still not bad. The crab rangoon was probably the worst item. Very cheap cream cheese with not much crab or seasoning in it. The actual fried wontons were very good, but the filling was lackluster. All of this food was about $40. It was very easy to order online, and they do have many options. They have multiple types of different Asian cuisine, so I would definitely try this place again. The main reason for my 3 stars is this food is not what I was craving. Food wasn't horrible, just not much flavor. Upon walking in to pick up my food, the employee was sitting at the table that you first see, stuffing his face full of food. I don't mind but it would've been nice to not have seen that immediately when entering the restaurant. He was attentive though and got up as soon as I entered. Very quiet inside, but it is a much nicer dining room than the closed down place. Overall, I would definitely come back here, I just was disappointed this visit with the flavors and quality. read more

Had a craving for sweet and sour chicken and wasn't disappointed, the service was funny, interactive, and delivered our food quickly. The aesthetic of the restraunt was adorable, beautiful art on the walls, the biggest mirror I've seen in person, and the cutest maneki-neko (beckoning cat) in the front. read more

By far the worst service, food, and cleanliness ever! The host was the most annoying and bothersome I've ever experienced. They gave us USED chopsticks-they were still wet. We should have left at that. I asked for new ones wrapped he looked at me like "how dare you!" Again should have left. Then the food came it's was the most bland food ever! I asked for hot sauce, he brought the bottle and then waited for me to be done to take it away. Don't waste your time or money here. Ever! read more

I'm really torn about my review. I'll start by saying that I'm a creature of habit and order the same thing every time. However, I swear they have multiple chefs and how well they do is dependent on which chef makes my meal. Either it's amazing and I can't wait to eat any leftovers that I may have or it's the most BLAND Chinese I've ever had and struggle to make it through the initial sitting. On the chance it's me, I've had others try my [bland] food on those occasions it's the version I get, and they agree. Unfortunately, since i don't want to take the chance to waste a meal night out, I've been avoiding lately. My favorite local Asian restaurant. We eat there 2 or 3 times per month. My husband and teens are big sushi fans. I'm more traditional and love Kung Pao chicken and General Tso' anything. Beef & string beans had 4 small pieces of beef.??Chicken skewers were lacking a lot. The previous time I tried to order boneless ribs and was handed a box of half a half rack unseasoned. We have ordered take out from Emerald Garden three times in the last few months. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. Wait times are pretty minimal for pickup, even as quick as 15 minutes. Each time we have ordered we have had special requests for at least one menu item, and they always follow instructions perfectly. Portion sizes are generous, and we always have leftovers. I recommend the Singapore noodles...although I order it with no egg and no meat. The lo mein and sesame chicken are also both very good. I guess you can also sit down in the restaurant and order/eat your meal, but we have never done this. read more

I have never thought food was so bad that I had to go on an app to let the world know, their food taste, so burnt and bad. The place was so disorganized, the one guy couldn't even speak English. I did go up to one gentleman and he offered to let my dinner be for free but I wasn't there for a free dinner. I was there to enjoy a dinner with my wife. I hope that they can get things resolved for better service and better tasting food. I would highly recommend firing the chef. read more
