This store may have been running off fumes after covid too. People who work in the area probably felt the same way when Elliott Bay Book Company moved out of Pioneer Square in 2010. I saw the script of pilot episode of GOT, TBBT, Friends and among movies there was Batman, Harry Porter, LOTR, Hunger Games, Twin Peaks and hundreds of more of them. The Miniature Car Dealer is one of those below ground shops that is worth the effort. It is a small shop but it is jam packed with miniature cars, planes, motorcycles, tanks, limos and all sorts of two, four and multi-wheeled vehicles. There were several other customers in the store and the owner/operator had a good report with all of them. He took time to talk with me and answer my questions and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I really appreciated his tips and advice. Hike the store is small it has a very good selection of model lines and models. It even had a few premium boxes which I was excited to see. I remember especially the Disneyland magic shop warming my heart as a child. Now this place keeps the magic alive (pun intended). The staff here are funny older gentleman. Theyre warm and nice and love to tell jokes and show off products. Great selection of magic and silly items of years gone by. Not only that but prices seem pretty inline with what youd hope to pay.
