2 stars because I was in & out in 20 minutes. But within 1 minute of the doctor entering the room, he said "Fauci lied about masks", followed by "Covid was created in a lab in wuhan". He diagnosed me with strep and gave me antibiotics that I have to take 3x/day, after I had initially asked him for a zPAC. Why would you think I wanted to rake 30 pills instead of 5? I had the most horrible experience at this facility. I wasn't allowed in the building to make an appointment even though my phone was not working. I had an appointment at CVS Minute Clinic but no one in the building there was one to give me a test. I tested positive at home and am not f. I am trying to do the right thing to protect others. This is so so terrible that someone would treat you this way. There is no reason why she could not have taken my information on the phone. She is not a doctor. This is really unacceptable. I've been here once or twice before in recent years, but not since their renovation in November 2014. Wow, it looks amazing! The inside is decorated so nicely, it's bright and cheery and looks really updated and clean. I interacted with about 4 staff members on my visit including the doctor, and everyone was extremely nice and helpful - and had a really positive attitude. Check-in was easy and they use tablets so you can sign the forms electronically. I waited for about 25 minutes start to finish to be seen, at 1:30pm on a Thursday. Not bad at all for an urgent care clinic. I even noticed they had a special kids exam room with a beautiful jungle mural painted on it... I barely recognized the place when I walked in and second guessed whether I had been there before. I'd definitely recommend coming here if you need to be seen for something and don't want to wait for an appointment elsewhere. And if it's been awhile since you've visited, give it another shot - it seems like a lot has changed for the better. I feel very safe and secure knowing this place is less than ten minutes away! Went here due to ear pain, muffled hearing and drainage. I suspected ear infection. After examination of ears was advised by doctor that there was no infection, no wax build up and that symptoms were probably due to allergies. Was told to get nasacort, afrin and claritin. Went next door to Walgreens and purchased same. That night was in excruciating pain, withdrainage and muffled hearing. That morning made an appointment at Ear, Nose and Throat specialist. Still in excruciating pain. Within minutes, ear infections in both ears was diagnosed. Wax taken out of ears and Cotton tubes with medication were inserted into ears and cipro drops prescribed. Still in extreme pain, but, at least I didn't deal with it under the impression that it was just allergies allowing the infections to worsen. read more

Early in Feburary 2021 I cut the tip of my finger off. I went to urgent care where they cleaned up the wound and gave me a tetanus shot. They were friendly and nice. At the time I believed they took my United Healthcare Insurance. I provided the card at the time of service. Then in October of that same year I received a bill from some third party for $256 with nothing listed on it but medical codes. I looked up these billing codes and they were for a Tetanus shot. I just paid the bill because I didn't want to deal with it. It's now the end of december and I've received the same bill at least once a week every week since I paid the bill in mid-november. I'm right now trying to call the company that sent the bill but I haven't spoken to a human yet and have been on hold for more than 20 minutes listening to the same 15 second song clip repeat over and over again. read more

Beware fake reviews for this Urgent Care. I arrived with symptoms of a middle or inner ear infection and bronchitis and was prescribed ear drops typically used for an outer ear infection. Using the drops resulted in extreme ear pain and swelling which were unexpected severe side effects for which I called back as soon as possible to seek advice on what to do. The front office responded that the doctor was busy and it would take some time to call back. Thirty minutes later, I called again, and the front office informed me that the doctor told them to switch to an oral antibiotic. Then I got a call ten minutes later saying that I was allergic to the antibiotic they prescribed and they quickly changed to another! Ridiculous. After going to another doctor, I was informed neither medication was effective or appropriate for the problem and was prescribed entirely new drugs. Never had an experience this bad. As others have described, they were fast ... but so fast they completely misdiagnosed the problem, gave me the wrong medication the first time, then almost caused an allergic reaction the second. Find another urgent care. read more

Had two bad experiences here. Today I went there to deal with an allergic reaction to Vaseline cream, and the doctor prescribed cream with sulfa, something we told them I was allergic to from the get-go. I've never had a doctor who screwed up so bad - thank heavens for pharmacists. A few months ago, I brought my mom here when she had a needle in her finger. They took one look at her and told her they weren't going to do anything. Not even any indication as to what to do next. Thank heavens for actual hospitals. If you have anything more serious than an ear infection, stay away. read more

Quick, efficient and pleasant front office staff who took care of all the paper work herself. Did not even have to wait for 5 minutes to see the oncall doctor. Dr. Cosenza asked many many questions and was thorough in his examination and explained all the medications clearly and also provided a written copy of the same. Came here after a really negative experience with another urgent care clinic in a nearby community. Staff at Emo Medical Care were very nice, professional, and friendly. Doctor was a bit brisk, and not a native speaker of English, but did her residency/internship at a nearby hospital in New Jersey. She made sure I understood her instructions and, unlike many physicians, asked me if I had any questions before she concluded the visit. I still felt a bit rushed, however. I'd go back here again if I needed urgent care and was in Central New Jersey. read more

I have been a patient here several times and also brought my very elderly mother here a couple of times when she was visiting. I have always been pleased with these experiences, except for one time when the MD couldn't feel enlarged lymph nodes under my chin. Every other time I was treated professionally and yet in a friendly manner. The offices are very clean and neat. The exams were thorough, diagnosis were on target, as was the prescribed treatment. Most recently, I was seen by Dana and Dr. Scolnick. They were both helpful and caring and addressed my problem in an efficiently and accurately. As an Advanced Practice Nurse, I often recommend this office to my own patients. read more

Went here because I needed 5 stitches in my hand. I waited for 15 minutes before being taken care of. During this time, the receptionist took all my info and my copay. Then, Dr came in and took care of me. No problems. I don't see how it could have been a better experience. Overall I was in and out in under one hour. Even though they are supposed to be Primary Care Physicians and they take the Primary Care [lower] co-pay they submit their statement to the insurance company as Specialists and bill you the difference. I've only had good experiences at this office. Most recently, they caught my pneumonia with a chest X-ray when I thought I just had a crummy seasonal cold. Up until my visit today with Dr Terryal ( not sure if the spelling is correct ) I would have given this urgent cars a 5 +) I have seen many others physicians here and they all have been great. I recently moved not far from this urgent care and do not have a primary care doctor . Each of these doctors truly take the time to listen to your medical needs and concerns ! It is a shame that Dr Terryal is NOT one that listens to your medical needs and / or concerns ! I am an asthmatic and have been for over 30 years . Unfortunately, I also have many other medical conditions. HE failed to listen to my concerns . I myself know the exact medications that my body needs to get better and stay out of the hospital ! He expressed no interest in listening to what usually works for me ! I am suppose to be leaving for vacation in 4 days , it is important to me as I am sure it is important to others to be prescribed the proper medications to get better quickly and to also have them to Take with you ! I am also under the care of pain management, his suggestion was to use my pain medication to help me sleep due to my cough ! What he does not understand is that I WILL NOT use a medication for pain in a improper way to treat my cough ! It is illegal to even do so!! To take a medication for cough , that was prescribed for pain! I am sure most would agree that is not expectable medical care! Needles to say , since he was so unwillingly to cooperate I was scared to even ask for a re-fill for my nebulizer. Apparently this matter is under investigation by management , what they DO NOT understand is that I do not have ANY time to waste for the proper medications !! I was called on Saturday night to come pick up a script for the proper cough medicine ! I dragged myself out of bed , drove all the way there , and it was the WRONG medication !!! They had me check in to see the dr on calls to change the script , and needless to say Dr M was intolerable to deal with !!!! He refused to provide me with the proper medication ! These doctors fail to understand the importance of having the proper medication that helps you , as an individual !! Dr M was more concerned about the possibility of loosing his incense, if he wrote for a certain cough medication , then me god forbid ending up in the hospital !!! He did not find anything wrong with the fact that I may up in the hospital ! Matter of fact instead of writing for a simple medication 1 more time so I can get better quickly and until my specialists appointment , his suggestion was to go to the hospital !! I am sure many would agree , doctors usually do EVERYTHING they can to prevent patients from having to go to the hospital ! Well, NOT At this place !!! Also , he was very rude and sarcastic , a person you DO NOT Want to deal with , especially not feeling well . His main focus was questioning me about my job , and why a teacher would be working in the summer , IGNORANT!! Went there to have a wrist injury checked out on a Saturday evening. Receptionist was friendly and efficient. Only had to wait about 2 minutes. Entire medical staff was friendly and competent. I can't speak for more serious issues, but for my need, this place was perfect. Will definitely go there again if I need urgent medical care. read more

I had a very negative experience at this facility. I was treated by hospitalists at a local hospital (I did not have a primary care physician), after having a motor vehicle accident. I was still in severe pain due to whiplash, and the pain medication prescribed caused me to be very drowsy. One of the hospitalists was kind enough to write a letter excusing me from work with a clause stating that I would be cleared medically before I returned. Since she could not follow up with me as an outpatient (hospitalists only work with patients admitted to the hospital) the hospitalist advised me to follow up with EMO at Berkeley Heights for clearance so that I can go back to work, so I went to this office as advised. When I got to EMO, without even examining me, Dr. Milosis told me that I am not fit to go back to work, and that she would not clear me. I explained to her that I was the one who asked the physicians at the hospital to write this letter for me simply because I was still in pain after the accident. Dr. Milosis looked at the documents I brought in, picked one of the findings of an MRI that was done on me, and told me that because of my pituitary gland, I was not fit to go back to work. My pituitary gland had absolutely nothing to do with the accident I had. When I asked her for a prescription that would not make me as drowsy as Flexeril, she insisted that the medication I had asked her for (Nabumetone) would make me just as drowsy. She then walked away leaving me waiting for 20 minutes. I decided to leave since I knew that she did not want to clear me. Then, to make things worse, Dr. Milosis subsequently told one of the hospitalists that had treated me during my admission, that she had wanted to help me with everything, but that I lost patience and walked out of the facility. She even told the physician that she wanted to give me a script for Nabumetone, but that I wouldn't take it. I had waited for Dr. Milosis for 20 minutes after she had told me that she would not clear me before I left the facility. I had not planned on writing a review when I left, but when I found out that Dr. Milosis was not being honest about what had transpired between us, I decided that it is only fair to let other potential patients know what they could possibly get at that office if she is the physician that day. I would never go back to this facility at Berkeley Heights. Thank God there are other physicians there, but I would never take that chance. read more

A great alternative to going to a hospital er and waiting for hours. I woke up yesterday not being able to speak (after coughing for two days) and went over. Nice facility and nice staff. Saw the doctor in less than 15 minutes and he told me I had laryngitis. Gave me a list of what to get at the pharmacy (no antibiotics - viral)... lozenges, throat spray, etc. Home and in bed pretty quickly. One day later I just got a call from their office asking how I was feeling. Nice. I don't even get that with my regular doctor! No more hospital visits :) read more

This place was awful. I came in presenting with a 102 fever aches soar through and severely soar and swollen calves. The doctor came in laughing and kept smirking and when he examined my swollen calf's he came no where near them to ascertain any infliction. He kept almost laughing as I reported my problems.
