Food was onolicious, a reminder of back in da islands. All I can say is broke my mouf. Had the famous Korean chicken, miso chicken, Mac salad, chili, flushed it down with a tall glass of Orange Bang, and topped it off with Apple Napple for dessert. Omg, stuffed till this evening and will return here to get some grubfor the flight back to PDX. Thank you Merry for being a kind, cordial and gracious host and server. You did the Waianae side justice with your exceptional service. Mahalo sistah!!! Went back later that evening (8:30 pm) to eat again before heading back to Oregon in the morning. I just wanted to add more praises to this post. A shout out to Hostess LeAnne, server Wayverly and Kaili at the "Cater" part of the restaurant. LeAnne was a gracious host, Wayverly was engaged and Kaili was very helpful in preparing our tray of Korean chicken and barrel of Chili (no beans). Very competent, knowledgeable and friendly, even with a packed house. Thank you Zippy's for an Aloha filled environment and experience.

The last time we had these items was when we lived in Hawaii at the Zippys location there. Highly disappointing. The chantilly cake was $29 for a small round cake. It barely had any frosting on and in between the layers. The cake was extremely dry and had no flavor. The Ensamada was also dry and the butter on top tasted like crisco I went in the morning to pick up and assumed the bakery items would have been made fresh that day, but they tasted like last nights leftovers. I don't know what happened, but clearly the Nevada locations need to seriously look at how Hawaii does it. Did they change the recipe, cut back in ingredients, maybe a baker that does now know how these things should taste? Anyway, for those prices I won't be returning to purchase until they can get it right

HUMO Las Vegas -- 10/10!…read more Just landed in Vegas and came straight to HUMO after seeing them on TikTok--and TikTok did NOT steer us wrong! We ordered the two meats + two sides and the brisket sandwich. The meat was juicy, tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Definitely a 10/10 on the food! And the michelada mix with my Modelo? So good and hit the spot! Overall: 10/10 If you're in Las Vegas and love good BBQ, HUMO is a must-try! Come hungry!

Rankings: Ribs 10 oo 10. Perfect texture. Great taste. Semi sweet, not wet sticky sauces, almost dry rub. Bread Rolls 10 oo 10. I just wish the gave you 4 rolls vs 3. Brisket hmmmm 5 oo 10. Texture was OK, enough rendered fat, but bland. Not enough smoke to me, I needed to sauce it and I don't feel like you need to sauce brisket. Pulled pork 5 oo 10. Same story as the brisket. Not bad. But not something I want to come back for. Corn 7 oo 10. Beanies 8 oo 10. Great flavor with the chorizo. I will need to make some quesadillas with it. Mac & Cheese 6 oo 10. Good, but not amazing. Burnt ends 5 oo 10. I expected a lot more flavor out of these and it wasn't there. Definetly good food, specially for delivery. I ordered the Chico option, didn't realize it came with Ribs so I doubled up on the Ribs, So I am happy the ribs were on point. I will try it again in the future, maybe in person.

Turns out she was the owner (Andrea). She was so friendly and helpful and just a delight! Once she seated us she came back and brought us a small cup of some type of cabbage soup to try, which was phenomenal! The menu is ginormous! Like the Cheesecake Factory menu... so much to see it takes a while to narrow things down. Our waitress was a young bubbly lady who was very friendly and knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She took time to answer all our questions and just really looked like she liked her job (go figure!). The portion sizes are insane! The food was very hot and very tasty. I struggled to finish mine but once I removed the food from the bun, that seemed to help. Paying the bill was easy as they have the receipts with the QR code that goes right to the Toast app. Unfortunately we didn't save room for dessert but after we were done eating we did go look at all the goodies in the case. Quite a selection and lots of people in line. Kind of glad we live on the other side of town because if we lived closer we'd go broke from eating here more often lol. The reviews and comments on FB were spot on. This place really is great and we look forward to visiting again.

Unfortunately, I've recently completely stopped ordering from this place. It's a very fixable issue…read morethough and I want to start ordering my work lunches from here regularly again so hopefully the owner takes this feedback. Issue: I always used to request one extra applesauce with my latkes because the tiny cup they give isn't enough for three latkes. But they've recently removed the freeform text field from their Uber Eats orders. Understandable, I know some people write crazy stuff there. But now how can I order the extra applesauce? There is not a checkbox within this item listing for me to request extra condiments. There isn't a standalone applesauce item I can add to my cart. There's just no way whatsoever now for me to continue ordering the latkes the way I want, so I've had to stop ordering here completely. This is really bumming me out! I miss my latkes!!! Please fix the way your order options are set up on Uber Eats so I can go back to ordering latkes all the time. This used to be my favorite place to order lunch, and I even left a glowing 5-star review to that effect less than two weeks ago! But without that second cup of applesauce, my whole ratio is thrown off. I will of course update this review to five stars again if this issue is fixed. Because at the ratio of two little applesauce cups to three latkes, this is truly a 10/10 work lunch and I want to go back to ordering again ASAP. PS: Even if extra applesauces and sour creams cost like .25 or .50 to add, I would still just be stoked to be able to add them.

Interesting menu, I typically ask the server what's your favorite? I also ask if the salad dressing and desserts are made here in the kitchen. I've had and sold enough of the pre-made. Now, my wife is Hawaiian and she's always a yes for island food, so here goes. I started with the Portuguese soup which was quite stewy and very tasty good. I'd say they sure like "the starch" my initial review of the menu. Chicken is all thigh meat, so I ordered the "trio" of chicken. That's a taste of their favorites all fried, Korean fried, katsu, and original. M went with the teriyaki which had no breading. All of my fried chicken was breaded or battered in the kitchen, so there is some inconsistency in "doneness" which is fine with me. Two very large scoops of white rice and a scoop of cold elbow macaroni salad. The macaroni salad wasn't too complex, sauce and pasta it was ok. We also tried the "famous". Lilioki beverage, okay free refills, the Orange Bang isn't my thing, the acid is too much for me lately. Everything was good, nothing great, no WoW but certainly reasonable. Next was deciding on our dessert, all made in house with the turnovers selling out fast. You can come just for the baked goods. Orders on line are kept warm in individual locker units, pretty good idea. We were taking ours home and ordered a slice each. Chantilly cake and Coconut cake. The cake was half the price of most restaurants these days. Having tasted both I'd say the cake was made by white cake mix and flavored frosting, which may be the island way, I don't know. the service was very good, every menu item was explained and service was speedy. Great place for big party's and children. We left a good tip and said our good bye's...thank you
