Mandy did a tasting session at our home a couple months ahead of time and really helped us figure out the right combination of flavors for our big day. She created a gorgeous chevron wedding cake design for our cutting cake, and then three amazing varieties of wedding cupcakes--chocolate s'mores, strawberries and cream on angel food cake, and a lemon cupcake with earl grey frosting. They looked beautiful, the cake was moist and full of flavor, and our guests absolutely loved it. I highly recommend her for any special occasion cake you might need.

Even though small, each cupcake is a solid bite, with just the right amount of filling and frosting. My recommendation, is that unless you have a solid dislike of a particular flavor, just go for a surprise variety. I guarantee you will miss out on some unique flavors that may not have been chosen by how you feel at a particular moment. For example, we had a surprise chocolate chip pancake cupcake, with the miniest of pancakes on top of the frosting swirl with a maple something in the middle.Yum I also love the very simple cherry cupcake- with a cherry filling and drizzle. My daughter also had these cupcakes as a tower at her wedding a few years ago, and after everyone was full from dinner, these were the perfect little thing to munch on before, during, and after hitting the dance floor. The professionalism and perfection that go into each cupcake is to be seen, and tasted, in person.

My favorite was the Maple Chocolate Chip Pancake and my wife's was the Peanut Butter Cup, but they were truly all delicious. We chose to do a variety of mini cupcakes for our wedding and our guests LOVED them. We maybe had 5 left over, and that is with us ordering more than recommended. Valerie also worked with us to do a wedding cutting cake and executed our design preference perfectly. She also perfectly handled the delivery, set up of the cupcakes on her displays (would recommend purchasing that option), as well as the pickup of the displays (would also recommend purchasing that option). She was so considerate of our time and space that I couldn't even say thank you! We could not be happier and are so glad we chose Frosted Swirl to be our baker for our wedding. Also, it's worth noting that on our first trip in (April 2013) when my husband was in his uniform and the owner came out and thanked him for his service and offered us free cupcake cards.
