I just realized that I've never reviewed them before and decided to rectify that right away with a Yelp review :) I used to think chiropractors only helped people who hurt their back or neck and that it was a short term thing (one or two visits). I also didn't know if it was really helpful or quackery. I now know that chiropractic care is about whole body wellness and that it really IS amazingly helpful for ongoing wellness. A number of years ago I started having severe pain in my neck and shoulder. It progressed to the point where I couldn't sleep at night without highly medicating myself and I would be awakened every morning by excruciating pain! As you can imagine, it horribly affected every area of my life. I couldn't sleep, my work was suffering, I couldn't stay in any one position for any amount of time, I couldn't sit through a work meeting at all, I was in a terrible mood all the time and snapping at people. I was desperate to get it fixed ASAP! After going to many, many appointments with my regular doctor where she checked out everything she could, I had no relief and she didn't know what was wrong with me. She prescribed me a high dose of pain reliever and sent me on my way. she also flat out told me that she did NOT recommend going to a chiropractor :( At that point, I was willing to try anything, my regular doctor couldn't help and I was not comfortable with the amount of drugs I was taking just to be able to fall asleep every night. I felt like I was in a nightmare. A friend recommended McCann Chiropractic and I went in to see them. They explained to me their philosophy on taking care of the body and ongoing wellness and honestly I was like "what is this hippy nonsense?" lol. Like I said though, I was willing to try anything to make the pain stop! I was so unbelievably grateful when they were able to get the pain to go away after just a few adjustment appointments! I had my life back! I've been seeing them for ongoing adjustments ever since and they keep me pain free :D I also no longer think their philosophy of taking care of the body is hippy nonsense ;) Dr. Pat & Dr. Kate are extremely pleasant and so are all of their staff members.
