And, thus...I need places like Vidatherapy Massage Center. Patricia has magical hands. She is one of the more intuitive massage therapists that I've ever been to. I've been to her on a couple of occasions now and both times I've left feeling relaxed and balanced with an overall feeling of well-being. Vidatherapy Massage Center is located in the back of Salon Flo (in Story Hill). Her space is warm and welcoming with dimmed lighting, soothing music, and an assortment of oils that smell like heaven itself. Patricia is both knowledgeable and friendly. She can carry on easy conversation or just silently allow you to relax, whichever your preference. I have a tendency to go for a combination of the two. Her prices are incredibly reasonable for the area. $40 for your first 60 minute massage and then $60 thereafter. She often runs specials as well. At Christmas, she was selling individual 60 minute massage gift certificates for $40, or 2 for $70. In February, she's planning on offer couples massage classes (so couples can learn and practice massage on each other). I reached out via the Sun & Moon website and Kathy responded promptly and professionally, and invited me to schedule with her through text. Despite being very booked, she found time to fit me in and now I have a regular schedule with her. I go to Kathy for a deep therapeutic massage, but she also offers custom/swedish options for those looking for a more relaxing effect. I'm not sure how she does it all herself, but I am so grateful she does. If you can't get in - I'm told that during the summers she has a station at the Waukesha farmers market.

I got to my appointment a few minutes early and was greeted by Amber who is the owner and was super friendly. She asked what I was looking for in my massage and informed her everywhere especially my left should area. I ruptured this muscle over 10 years ago and hasn't been the same so anyone who does my massages I give a heads up of the tightness in this area. The moment you walk into the room for your massage it was right away a very calming setting. The music, the lighting to the scented room was very chill. Amber informed me about the warming massage table which came in handy on cold days especially recently. I did request if it can be cooled a little because I was starting to get warm before the massage started lol. The headrest was super comfy compared to other ones I've came across and Amber put this scented oil on the cover and had you breath in and wish I asked what that scent was because it was sheer heaven! The body oil used smelled just as fabulous as the oil on the headrest. She did her magic from top to bottom. Because of the work she did on the shoulder area, she placed a hot towel across my shoulders & back and was great and soothing. After I turned to lay on my back, she placed this cloth with the same oil that was used for the head rest across my eyes and a hot towel under my neck that felt really good. Amber let you rest for about 5 minutes before getting dressed and offered a little goodie to take in the look like a hot beverage or a bottle water. I was SO relaxed that when I went on my phone to give her a tip for the great work she did, I couldn't find the app so she offered me to scan in a QR code lol.
