Unlike some other massage places I've been to, it's obvious that Deondre isn't just going through the motions.

Don't even second guess yourself or look for any other place to go. Just go. You will not be…read moredisappointed. This place is everything your body craves. Stressed out? Sad? Sore? In pain? Or maybe because you just fucking deserve it. Go. With that being said, my amazing experiences here have been due to Melissa. She's the masseuse that I chose based off of her bio. Their website lists all of their current masseuses, accompanied by a mini bio that lets you know what they specialize in and gives you a little bit of an idea of their personality. I am sure that they are all wonderful, but I ultimately went with Melissa and I was NOT disappointed. What's also great about their website is that everything is there, black and white. Rates are all listed, as well as their services. The bios, like I said, tell you which service each masseuse has specialized in. Melissa really listened to what I needed. Each time I bought 75 minute massages and I asked myself each time, why I didn't get a 90 minute. They also offer 120 minutes, which I haven't seen many places at all. Anyway, she not only listened to me, but she catered to what my body needed. And she remembered that I kickbox, so that actually made me feel special; like she cared. Why are you still reading this? What are you waiting for? Go treat yo-self!! Need more convincing? Prices are totally competitive and worth it. Don't do what I did and get a Groupon for a massage. You pay for what you get. And my last Groupon massage experience was a nightmare. This place is clean and tranquil. Most importantly she doesn't talk through the massage. It's truly, amazing and relaxing. Located in Bay View. Parking is on the street but I've never had an issue with this. My goal will be to go once a month if my budget allows. They also offer $20-30 off for returning customers who want to buy multiple massages. They run deals sometimes. I bought a sweet package for me and my fiancé. Best. Decision. Ever. Are you still reading this? Go book! Call or you can book right online but you'll have to go to the website so that it can bring you to their site. Do it. You will not regret it.

Very disappointed I booked a 30 minutes session, around 2 weeks ago an paid ahead. I paid ahead of time so better not call to stay with the money than actually try to reach the customer before time, they call after 15 mins to tell me that I missed the appointment but not thought of calling before. I never missed an appointment before, but consideration does not seem like one of the values for the company.

This was an awesome experience…read more Location She is located on the second floor inside the Wells Fargo Bank building. I found parking in the back of the building and entered on the side, which only takes you into the bank. Sharissa came down to get me so I could enter from the door in the back which is locked to outsiders. The normal way would be to enter through the entrance at the front of the building and taking the stairs up. The office is quite spacious, with about 3 separate massage rooms and an office/waiting area. The massage rooms have blinds, but no curtains, and lets in some natural light. So it's not like most massage parlors with rooms in total darkness and a candle burning. I actually like the bit of natural light. It was a bit bright when I went from face down to face up, for a minute while my eyes adjusted, but not as bad as when they turn on the lights after a massage lol. There was also no candles or oil diffusers or scent thingamagiggies. Personally, I like that. Sometimes you wonder what unclean smells those fragrances are masking, or just don't like a particular scent, but I didn't have to worry about it. Oh, and there is a full body mirror in the room. Definitely a plus after the massage. Massage therapist: Sharissa was great. We started out pretty quietly, but then she got a little chatty, but I was asking her questions. She's very nice and very respectful - I think if I didn't want to talk (I did today) she would totally get the hint and give a quiet massage. I'm a believer in telling them what we like, since massage therapists aren't mind readers. I also like to tell them how much pressure I like. I know I cannot take the level of pressure my hubby likes, as I bruise easy and also don't like that kind of pain. But how is a therapist to know that unless I tell them? So I told Sharissa when the pressure got too strong, in a specific spot. But before I had to tell her at all, she had asked at least on two separate occasions how I liked the pressure, and also eased up when I flinched on a particularly tender spot without me having to say anything. She has her license framed. Not sure what made the other yelper think she wasn't schooled. That's a stretch. During my entire 90 minute session, she was professional and got all my kinks and knots sorted out as well as the therapists at my chiropractor's. Anyway, I went ahead and purchased 3 more massages as they were on a special through September (2022). I guess that says it all, huh? Oh, and by the way, I appreciate all the little things: -being offered bottled water after the massage -an actual credit card reader that's not connected to her phone and works fast -a full body mirror in the rooms -not getting cheaped out of 5-10 minutes from the massage. In fact, we began late because I arrived late (because I got lost trying to find her office in the Wells Fargo building), but she worked the whole 90 minutes on me anyway -explaining and trying to figure out different reasons for certain body pains -smile

Both times were to attend a…read moresound bath with meditation, and they were truly wonderful experiences and very different each time. I recently attended the winter solstice sound bath, and going into it this time, I knew what to expect. That being said, I dressed a bit warmer and extra comfy and brought additional blankets because I personally become very cold during the sound bath, especially at certain times when the sound vibrates through my body. It feels like actual icicles moving through me. I'm not normally a cold person, so it's definitely part of the experience for sure. I also love the guided meditation aspect of it. I don't think I would want to attend one without it, because it's such a nice added feature. I love that after the session, cards are given out and there's time to reflect on them. It also opens up space for any questions you might have about the experience that day, or more generally about the instruments, sound baths, or the other classes and services they offer. I'm not going to lie--the first time I did a sound bath, I actually got motion sick during it. However, the second time I didn't, which just goes to show that each experience is different for me. I feel extremely well-rested afterward, energized yet deeply relaxed. My night's sleep after is amazing--absolutely amazing--and I feel kind of reset for the week in a way that's just different. I definitely need to do these more frequently. I'm thinking maybe attending all the solstice ones would be a good way to keep things going. I went with a friend, and it was her first time as well. She also had a really great experience--similar, yet different. They also have an entire storefront. I didn't have time to go through it, but from what I glanced at while making my way into the room, they have some really cute and adorable items. I know they sell the essential oils used during class, including some of their own blends. The blend used was really nice, and I could definitely see myself going back to get one of their custom blends. Overall, this place is definitely worth it, and you should check them out if you haven't already!

After attending a few community reiki and reiki+ gong baths I decided to take the classes offered to learn how to be a reiki practitioner. Laurie and Djuro (owners) are so welcoming and willing to help in any way that they can. Also, they have 2 locations in the market on opposite sides of the shopping area, so make sure to check out both locations. One is mostly crystals/classroom space. The other is jewelry, apothecary and musical instruments.
