The pros are that…read moreit's a great size with lots of different seating options and good WiFi, so great for remote work. There's all kinds of community supporting programs/events/initiatives which is amazing. Sadly, I was pretty let down by the food choices. As a vegetarian, finding a lunch option that isn't just a veggie sub (or pizza) is kind of hard, and I had looked at the Wander menu specifically and noticed their paninis/soups/salads/sandwiches that seemed really tasty, and that it was served till 2. Unfortunately when we came in around 1 we were told they couldn't make any of their paninis/sandwiches and didn't have a soup. This basically left us pastries (wasn't really feeling a sweet lunch). It made for a hungry and sad afternoon! If I was in the area I might try again, but I won't come back out of my way.

They have pre-packaged gift boxes, other gift items that are non-chocolate, and several display cases full individual of chocolates sold by weight or by piece. A few tables are inside where you can stay to enjoy your beverages and treats. Once the line had died down, there was only one staff member working the counter, we made our purchase and headed back to the car. The chocolate is indeed very tasty. Smooth chocolate. Good flavor balance. One small piece is very satisfying. If you love a good chocolate, you will agree the price matches the quality. Worth a stop.

Once upon a time it was a lovely, decadent little shop and we looked forward to indulging in chocolates for our Tanglewood visit. Not anymore. For the last 4 years, the service has been poor and they are out of chocolates on a regular basis. After 2020, they asked for patience which we gladly gave but they adopted dismissive staff and a lack of customer care as standard operating procedure. If you go, be prepared for disappointment.

However, in my experience, the service was rude--like incredibly rude. And the drink (though the coffee itself was good) was poorly crafted, with milk overly aerated and scalded. Given the level of condescending impatience I received from the counter staff, I'd expect an exacting attention to detail. So if you're cool paying six bucks for a cappuccino that comes in small, medium, and large, this place might be for you. But if, on the other hand, you know that a cappuccino should be around six to eight ounces, and you'd prefer an establishment that treated you with a little gratitude, just drive the eleven minutes to the absolutely world-class No Six Depot Roastery Café--that's what we did.

They do have gf labels but not vegan labels and no one working there knows whether an item is or isn't. The restrooms are shared with the information center and not maintained, so quite dirty. As is the issue with "self-bussing" - most people don't actually do it and so you're stuck cleaning up to sit down and cleaning up after you're done.
