First off the pedicure was not the best, I feel like the employees doing the pedicures were unhappy with their jobs. My woman was kinda rude and kept telling me to hold my own foot up in the air!!! What the heck. I'm there to relax not hold my foot in the air for 5 minutes. I had one woman start my pedicure and a second one finish it... which was kinda weird. Lol after that was done I got shipped off to (I think one of the owners) another woman to do my acrylics + gel polish. I had an inspiration photo of what I wanted color and shape and asked if they had a color similar. She handed me about 4 swatch rings without suggesting one or grabbing ones with the color I asked about. I asked if she would be able to draw and eye on my ring finger nails and she immediately shut that down saying no I can't and laughed. They advertise nail art on their website... she did pretty good on the shape and applying the acrylic. BUT... the gel manicure was so sloppy. I have had to file down the hardened gel that seeped off my nails. There is nothing that irritates me more than a rushed polish job. No hand massage, no cuticles pushed back. For a basic pedi & gel acrylics I paid $85. I was hoping to love this place and become a regular but customer service wasn't up to par along with my experience with my nail tech.

She used a brush instead of a wide tooth comb & violently ripped through my hair. She faced me away from the mirror the entire time she cut it so I couldn't see what she was doing. There was also some guy who came into her station & stood right next to me, asking her questions about perms for like 10 minutes. She barely dried it & then charged $30. That's $30 for just the cut. No wash, no style. The haircut was so terrible I cried in the parking lot & then went to The Ritz. I walked in & the owner saw my hair, said she wanted to fix it & then did so free of charge. My hair looks amazing now thanks to The Ritz & I will not be returning to Salon 101.

He got his buffer and grabbed my big toe and lifted my leg up and held it while he buffed my heel and the bottom of my foot. I thought he pulled my toe out of the socket. I had everything I could do to keep from yelling out loud. Polish is dull, not sure he used a top coat. He kept bumping the little drying thing on my nails when he would move it from 1 foot to the other. I won't go back.
