Went with a colleague and ex-colleague, on the latter's recommendation.
I know of this restaurant when I lived in Know many many years ago, and it had a good reputation at that time.
I remember my son going with a group of other school friends from Arden, when he was about 13. They were made to feel like adults when being served. I saw a similar group this time, but probably slightly older. You think I'm going to say something about their behaviour, I am not. They were conducting themselves like any of the adults in the restaurant.
The restaurant was quite busy for a Monday, and it may be due to the buffet, and we had booked.
We all decided to go for the buffet.
I good selection of starters:
Tandoori Chicken
Onion Bhajis
Chicken Pekora
Selection of salad items and lime pickle, the normal stuff
There were two different types of naan bread
Pilau and plain boiled rice
I'm sure I'll get all of the mains wrong, but I plugged for the Chicken Dhansak
There was the required chicken Tikka Masala (not a dish I like)
A lamb dish
A vegetable dish.
There were sweets, but I couldn't eat any more stuff
All for £9,95 per head
We added to the cost with my bottle of Cobra, and 3 coffees, the latter was able to be refilled, and it seemed at no extra cost.
