As we merrily drove across the country in September 2021, our water pump went out. We were where…read moreit looked like the middle of no where, on the shoulder of east bound I70 Kansas. We did the expected, called our road service for a town and waited, and waited, and waited. After two hours, two visits from friendly law enforcement officers, we used their offered phone numbers to get our of our situation. We called R&R Towing, some 15 miles in our back mirror, so-to-speak. In 15 minutes the tow truck arrived and quickly hitched up to our 40' RV. When the driver disconnected our drive line, he noted, and showed me that there was something wrong with the differential. We mentioned our problem of finding someone to replace the water pump. He said let me see what I can find, and made a call to Dreiling Services in Hays, KS. They said would fix our water pump, and look at the differential. Great! We were off in a flash, towing the 20 miles into Hays to the shop. The towing was fast, professional, and above and beyond getting us to the right repair shop. And with the proper documentation, our road service reimbursed all the services. Thank you very much for getting us to the shop. And as it turns out, the shop did an excellent job getting us back on the road again in a short time. We are now down the road some 1500 miles in deep south Texas. Thanks again.

We were traveling back to San Diego in our RV when it started chugging and stalling. 1500 miles from home knowing no one, we called just about every auto shop within 30 miles. All said they were too busy including the Ford dealership who said they couldn't look at it for 30 days. Seriously?! Chris answered the phone, was pretty booked up but since we were stranded said we could bring it in after lunch. When we got there we explained what was going on. He gave his opinion with his 30 years experience, but test drove it which confirmed his diagnosis. Bad fuel pump. We had just picked up the RV in michigan where it had been sitting for years. The bottom was completely rusted and there were concerns he could even get our HUGE gas tank off and there was not a pump in town that fit our RV. Chris ordered one from KC, said he would do his best, and got us back on the road in just over 24 hours. His compassion and hard work made what could have been a fiscal and overall nightmare so much better. And amazingly the price he charged was SO reasonable and less than half than I was dreading. If you are ever stuck in middle Kansas or live in the Hays area I wouldn't take a vehicle to anyone else.
