So, the initial greeting was lack luster, we got right in but the wait to get our food was long, and the food was not great. The server was super nice, but I felt she had too big of a section to manage by herself. The place is nice and clean. Looks pretty much the same as it did when it was Florida Steakhouse....kind of western/ woodsy. Anyway, we ordered: Tenders and double onion rings for the two sides. Pigsty burger, hold the chili, with friend. What a mess. My medium well burger was like charcoal and the five onion rings my hubby got were falling apart. Food and service was not good. I am sorry since the visit they have closed. It is a great location and would make a wonderful Breakfast location, also a bar, I think it was not ran well. We enjoyed happy hour cocktails in a booth in the bar. Our bartender, Natasha, was super friendly and patient even though her bar was completely full. What an awesome place to eat. It's an atmosphere similar to Texas Roadhouse but 100% better. Great food, seasoned just right. The pork chops are the best I have had, someone got prime rib and that was cooked just right. Parmesan crusted cod was also very good. Serve with a smile and waitstaff was friendly. This is our second time visiting. Still not disappointed! Megan was our server and was the best. Love all the decorations. Bathrooms very clean and unique!! Ordered NY steak with salad and greens. My hubs had Cajun pasta with shrimp. We ordered two appetizers. Potato skins Phillysteak style and catfish bites. We also ordered key lime pie and chocolate cake. My steak again cooked medium rare and very flavorful!!! Just cooked to the way I enjoy. It was juicy and seasoned well. The collard greens were very tasty but needed a tad bit of salt. The appetizers were spot on! Highly recommend the catfish! The tarter sauce must be house made because it is the best compliment to the fish. The potato skins were very good and the peppers, onions and cheese very good combo on the potato. Recommend the shrimp to be blackened on the pasta. Very creamy and just the right spice! Now dessert... key lime pie decent but needs work. The chocolate cake... THE CHOCOLATE CAKE!!!!! No words!!! Best creamy chocolate dessert!! Thank you for a great dinner. Price is decent. Went to Elliott's for the $1 wings last Thursday evening. The wings were good- above average- not crispy enough for my liking- but good. My problem is that they make you order in quantities of 5. I asked for 8 and the server said 5 or 10. That is just plain stupid. Also, I paid for extra celery and the entire order was 5 small slivers- I guess the normal if you don't buy extra is 2??? Just not a good way to run a business. Also was told that we couldn't order a personal size pizza unless we were sitting at the bar. Really? Just stupid. Based on the many empty tables at prime time it's obvious that the luster is wearing off of this place...again. Sad, it would be nice to have a place on this end of the county where you can get good food and feel like you are getting value. Poor management- just stupid. read more

Excellent experience. Right on US 1 on the South end of Edgewater. Big Country restaurant. Lots of wood walls and decorations. Friendly, helpful staff, and a wide variety of food choices. Elliott Burger and Catfish fillets were outstanding. Our waitress "Jenna" was a delight. Friendly, knew the details of the available dishes, and checked back several times with us, to make sure every thing was ok. We were so excited to try this place after we heard how good they were only to be disappointed. The prime rib was so tough, chicken was dry and the crab legs had a strange taste. The service was below average and the food was absolutely terrible! When we arrived at the restaurant I reviewed my receipt and a few things were missing, no big deal! I had to wait 25 minutes while they got the rest of my order ready. OK, so we waited, then waited another 20 minutes to pay my bill which was a nightmare in itself. The lady gave me the completely wrong check after I handed her the correct check because I only reviewed it about 20 times to ensure it was correct then when I tried to explain to her that this was not my check she are you back for five minutes that was in fact my check after getting the right check she missed placed my card and asked for a bag so she could charge me the right amount when explaining she never gave it back to me she again argued that she did but turned around and looked and found it no apologies nothing the service was absolutely horrible and to top it off by the time I actually paid for my food it was already disgustingly cold. It has now been sitting for over an hour! The restaurant was only half full. There was no reason to make us wait at all. On the menu they described our scallop meal as a jumbo scallops they appear to be little tiny scallops I ordered two kids steak and fries meals both steaks were 100% different from each other one looks good one looks like a flat piece of paper I asked for all three of the steaks on the order to be cooked medium rare one looks a little under done and one is completely over cooked my Philly cheesesteak skins were burnt in the bottom of the potato was completely undercooked it was hard how this happened? I don't know! On the menu the cheesecake is described as coming with a triple berry compote on top and I verified with the person who took my order that it was a triple berry compote and not just a swirl inside of the cheesecake this is just a strawberry liquid sauce not a compote at all the fries they came with the meals headset so long while we waited for the rest of our order and waited to pay our correct check that they were soggy and mushy. When the owner of the restaurant purchased the Florida Roadhouse and turned it into Elliot steakhouse I was super excited to try it and I couldn't wait and I am 100% disappointed in the service in the food! read more

First time here and we were greeted with very friendly staff, Wendy was our server and she did an excellent job, her attention to detail was spot on, after finishing our lunch, she just made the cheesecake sounds delicious so we had to take her up on it and boy oh boy she was right, the cheesecake was impeccable and a huge slice to boot. We came back tonight for our anniversary and we were seated in the bar area Which was loud and unpleasant. The bartender/waitress was more worried about socializing then serving her customers. We asked for bread that usually came with the Neal she said no problem and proceeded right back to socializing and never even attempted to bring us bread. She had us wait 20 minutes to take our order while she chit chatted about dipping some yin honey. She never checked on us once and we had to beg for our check. As much as I love to post a great review for a business, I really dislike posting a negative one, so negative reviews are few and far between. The blackened chicken had a past due or leftover flavor. The onion rings were cold and chewy. The creamed spinach was warm and bland. The mushrooms were ok. My husband's steak was overcooked, server DID offer to bring a new one. She explained that the lighting where we sat was darker so it looked more overcooked than it was. The mashed potatoes and collard greens were ok. We would not eat here again. We went to Dairy Queen afterward to help overcome our disappointment. I would not recommend this restaurant. read more

Definitely not worth the money! Ordered a filet mignon ($30) medium well. It came out rare in some places and well done in others (not just on the sides either). Waitress insisted on bringing another one just by looking at my plate. I didn't even say anything. She left to bring another one then came right back and said my manager said to just take yours and cook it longer. Well you can guess the done part came back like jerky and the rare came back medium. I just gave it to my husband. My son ordered the swordfish and said it was yuck. Service took some time but understandable with everything going on however not for food that was cooked (or lack of) that way. Posting because this restaurant needs to be given a second chance. Spoke to the manager (owner ??) tonight and he's working hard to get customers back! I sincerely had one of the best meals I've had at a restaurant in a long time there tonight! I eat out A LOT so I have much to compare it with! I got the 6 0z sirloin with mashed potatoes and gravy. My dinner companion had the Surf and Turf. For an appetizer we had the potato skins and for dessert the key lime pie. Every bite was delicious! Oooo and that key lime pie was incredible! Our server, Ashley, was super! Very personable, attentive and accurate! Please give this place a a visit! They deserve it! (PS on a flip side, I do not recommend the chips and salsa. I hope they rethink this item on the menu and get/make better chips. The chips clearly aren't made in-house and are not fresh tasting at all. The salsa is more like pico than salsa.
