The rats were also wet all along the bottom. I counted over 15 dead batas on ONE shelf. There was a single bird in cage that was almost totally bald and constantly pulling and ripping feathers out, looked terrible! I went to check out and set my VERY FEW items on the counter, honestly debated on even spending anything after what I had seen....and the cashier just looked off into space for a solid 45-60 seconds, no greeting or a single word! I have never been so disappointed and in utter shock like I have today!! i bought a hamster for my 5 year old from there last year and only had problems. she was soo sweet, but had skin issues and would stop eating while she was having issues. Took her to vet twice and had no actual answers besides she was sick....ended up losing our baby. After seeing the conditions today, I am wondering if I just happened to catch the cages actually cleaned for once when I bought her! Not only was one of the workers rude but they also had a betta fish in a vase without any filtration system or heater. I've had betta fish in the past and know they require a minimum of 5 gallons for a tank, a heater, and a filter. They also had a reptile that was emaciated. I could not give them my business with good conscience as they are improperly caring for their animals.
