And was without our consent. At 3 years old, children are learning how to play, listen, and understand -- they shouldn't be held to unrealistic standards. I later learned this had supposedly been a concern since he was 2, yet no one ever discussed it with us. It feels like the school made assumptions and took advantage of us being young, first-time parents instead of communicating openly. Parents deserve transparency and children deserve to be supported, not judged.

When they were enrolled, they had just turned two and within weeks I could see a huge difference in their growth and development. They are now 4.5 and came home one day and recited all the presidents! They are writing and spelling their names, adding and subtracting and much, much more. It's extremely bittersweet that they are moving on and we will very much miss Happy Tree and all they've done to prepare them for their future education.

I had some apprehension because my son has a hearing aide that needs to be removed for naps and water activities. It is also extremely difficult to get him to keep it in and for other students not to yank at it. They took the time to learn how to place and remove the device and also helped him keep up with it. As he moved up in classes, he became just as fond of the new teachers as the old and they encouraged some independent learning. They also got him to eat vegetables almost everyday which is impossible at home. We wouldn't have believed it if we didn't see it with our own eyes. Another great thing about the facility is you can pop in on your child any day or any time. They have an open door policy for parents and it makes you feel at ease when they are willing to be so open. We moved and had to change child care. It was a difficult decision to make because our son enjoyed his classmates and teachers so much.

It's hard to leave your babies in someone else's care but Lala and Coco make it easier. They always greet the babies with love and excitement and you can tell that they truly love the babies. If you're looking for a place that will sleep train your baby, feed them home cooked meals everyday, bathe them, exercise them, develop them, get them in a routine, and love them then this is the best you will find! Also, she has birthday parties, photo shoots, lots of crafts and keepsakes from the babies.
