The room was spotlessly clean and had all the usual essentials you'd want such as mini-fridge, microwave, ironing board, etc. Breakfast was included and was typical, but ok. I would have preferred more fresh fruit and some fat-free yogurt. What I really liked about this place is that it had windows that actually open! I had a view onto the Kennebec River. Try finding hotels, especially business class chain hotels, that have windows which open. It's pretty rare, so this was a nice surprise.

We had our in laws with us, so 4 of us in total stayed comfortably in the cottage. It was the perfect get away! We had a large deck that overlooked the bay with BBQ grill which we used every night. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. We ordered lobsters from Inn owners one night and regretted waiting so long to do so. Jane will steam them and deliver them right to your room. The lobsters were excellent! And I have to say that they tasted even better than those we've had in restaurants. We rented their boat one day and took it out to Bailey Island. We were able to dock it at Morse's for some lunch. We borrowed kayaks another day. We can't wait to go back!

There is a tap room very close that has an aviation theme, since it is near an executive airport. I partook in the nice pool and their breakfast was solid with lots of little accouterments. Like a special water dispenser and a large room with plenty of TVs. We only stayed one night, but we liked it a lot. There is a neighborhood we walked through nearby for our morning walk as well.
