What a cute, little gift shop! I came here for the grapefruit lip balm that I saw on Instagram and left with a bunch of other stuff. Love the grapefruit lip balm but the watermelon one is a closed second, they smell sooo delicious! I love that they're natural and nontoxic, it seems like! I'm pretty sensitive to synthetic frangrances so I do my best to stay away from them. Surprisingly, I loved the cucumber perfume. It's smells sweet and fresh, nothing overwhelming, and it doesn't make me nauseous. The staff are super helpful and they make everyone feel welcome! They greet each person that steps into the store (may seem like nothing but it does set the tone for any store and makes shopping more fun). They also check on shoppers if they have questions or need help with anything. I'm sure I'll be back!

A beautifully curated shop! Pricey but a fabulous range of things to beautify and decorate your home, or give as gifts. One of the nicer and diverse shops in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Make sure to swing by the lower level part of the shop where more products are located! I came during the holidays (on Boxing Day) and it was PACKED. Sale items were limited and placed all at the front of the shopeli. Staff are pretty laid back and hang behind the counter mostly, and will service when engaged.

Love! Love! Love this store! They have such nice gift ideas that is truly unique. ElizabethW had her line of bath and body with amazing scents. They will also wrap it nicely for you if the item you are purchasing is a gift. Some may say it is a bit pricey, but you are paying for quality! Helpful and pleasant staff!

A well sourced gift shop! The array makes it easy to find something for everyone, especially yourself. Especially appreciate their selection of Carpe Diem Papers cards.

I really liked this little shop with super cute gift-ables (not cheap), but many affordable, obviously hand-curated from whomever owns the place. I could have bought many things - but I decided on a little splurge --a small 8" x 6 abstract painting of a Vueve Clicquot bottle. I love it!

Noelle's Yelp Notebook 2015 ElizabethW is my favorite shop in Carmel by the Sea. My first experience with ElizabethW was in San Francisco, post having high tea with my mom and cousin we stumbled upon their shop and I bought bath products and home products. Last weekend, my husband wanted to stop by Cottage of Sweets when I spied ElizabethW! I was filled with excitement to see they had a shop in Carmel by the Sea! Upon entering we were greeted by the friendly gals in the first level area. Once you enter the shop you'll notice the fairly new ElizabethW scents on the left hand side of the shop and on the right the more classic ElizabethW scents like tuberose, etc. The first level also includes an area with handmade gorgeous jewelry- bracelets, rings, earrings, delicate necklaces. There is even a small area on the first level with baby items- plates, clothes, books. The bottom level of the shop has a ton of goodies for your home and even garden. I bought a few of their books for myself, chocolates for my family, bath items and a few gifts for my mom. I spied the most gorgeous hand embroidered pillows from Catstudio- I almost bought large America pillow but that was retailing for nearly $300 (didn't want to give my hubs a heart attack with that purchase, lol). I wish they had more of the ElizabethW lotions, candles, bath products like in the city. I love the home decor items in their Carmel by the Sea shop. I love home keeping and they have a fantastic selection of cutesy decor and other home good essentials. Next time I'm in PacHeights, I'll head over to their SF location to buy my bath products. ElizabethW has superior quality for their bath products!!! Love, love, love ElizabethW and look forward to shopping here again! Noelle's Notes Smaller selection of ElizabethW bath products Good selection of home goods on bottom/basement level Friendly and helpful customer service

    A little tacky :/

This gallery is right next to First Awakenings' patio. When we had brunch Wednesday I looked at…read morethe pottery and glass in the window but it's currently open Friday to Sunday from 10-4. We stopped by today after brunch and I wandered through the gallery admiring the ceramics, glass, soaps and other wares. Everything is locally made, much of it by Bay Area artisans. Lovely music played overhead, classical guitar by a local musician. I chatted w/ the gallery owner, Karen Reynolds, who told me a bit about where the work came from. One of the most impressive pieces was a stunning Chanukah menorah made of stainless steel and copper. She told me it took the artist 130 hours to create! He's making the next one of bronze, which will take less time because of the respective properties of the various metals. I didn't even ask how much it cost. This one is made to hold candles, the next one oil. Alan came in heard the overhead music and asked about it. We mentioned the loss of both the classical and jazz radio stations here and how we've been stuck w/ a garbage station in the car. Karen mentioned that KRML was Clint Eastwood's station. It pleased me that he bought and brought it back to life. Alan bought a CD, but I know KRML's place on the dial, so I knew we could find it. We did and unfortunately it's not what it was. We listened to the CD in the car and it will be a lovely addition to our music collection. We'll probably return tomorrow before we head home so I can look at some of the pieces that have been calling to me. The gallery has been open in this location for 10 months. As of April 1 it will be moving to Carmel-by-the-Sea where it will be located on San Carlos between Ocean and 7th. I'm sure it will be right at home in its new location and wish Karen well. I look forward to visiting the next time we're in the area.
