I…read moresaw East Coast was an Electra dealer and decided to stop in on a whim, no intention of buying a bike, to do some in-person research. The staff was super friendly, asked what I was looking for in a ride and actually steered me toward a Trek. I test drove the bike I came to try then the Trek and was really impressed with the Trek's ride. And, speaking of test drives, they have a test track (just around the block) that does a good job of giving you a good test drive--it had a little slope to experience gearshifts, potholes to test the suspension, and was scenic to boot. I liked the Trek's ride so much so, that I paid for that model and the necessary extra equipment (kick stand, back bike rack for panniers) right on the spot. They even installed the kickstand and the rack for me while I went home to get my bike rack and my wife who also tried and purchased a Trek for herself. And, while I paid more than the bicycle I'd originally come to try out, I am sublimely happy with my choice. I've ridden four out of seven days this last week and am loving this new cycle. That kind of service adds a value I can't even begin to put a price tag on. In short, they're not at all pushy, they listened to what I wanted to do with the bike (exercise, cycle to the grocery store) fitted my bike to me perfectly, and their service team was incredible. Love this shop!

I knew the deal, I bought it basically to destroy and have fun doing it. These guys were so rude and insulting I don't even want to go back for the bike. They had a terrible selection of bike and zero parts and with the attitudes of the staff it's amazing they're open. If I could give negative stars I would. If this guy had spoken that way to a younger me it wouldn't have ended with a bad review. Go to the ReCycle Factory down Colley by ODU, they're actually friendly non-judgmental And they have an actual selection of bikes and hardware.

We came to this location on this day because there was a scheduled group ride through the beautiful Williamsburg. Afterwards of course we made a purchase at the store. Poseidon is the closest bike-related outfit we found in Cape Charles. Even though we didn't rent the bike from Poseidon, Ray went right to work to repair the chain. Most of the links in his toolbox were sized for beach rentals and too wide for my daughter's bike chain; nonetheless, Ray engineered a solution on the spot. After a few adjustments the chain engaged smoothly thru the gears. The bike now rides beautifully! Ray did not expect payment for his kind service, even though he spent considerable time with the repair. Ray was determined to find a fix, even though I interrupted his lunch and he was also preparing a boat for an afternoon outing. Of course I insisted on compensating! This experience makes me so happy and grateful to have encountered such a good, helpful, and talented person as Ray!

I came here after going to a sports card show in Norfolk. It wasn't a planned visit but I was just…read morelooking for something interesting to look at since I had a lot of free time and the weather was nice on Saturday. I thought it would be a lot larger but the spot is quite small but it is very nice to walk around. There are also lots of nice areas adjacent to the garden and terrace as well. I parked in front of the garden went around it and then found the USS Wisconsin and the Naval museum just past the garden. I went around and finished checking out the other side of the garden after. The parking was free for 2 hrs in front of the garden and it seemed like parking in general was plentiful and open this weekend. It looked like college dormitories around the garden and some other residential areas around the middle of downtown Norfolk. There were many nice plants in the garden, the terrace was nice but not open as far as I could tell, and the koi pond was nice if someone would clean out the pond scum from the fish pond. There were small bridges over the water and multiple water fountains in the koi pond. There were a few benches to sit on if you wanted to just relax or meditate in the garden. Overall, it was a nice garden but it is not something to go downtown to see, but it is a nice additional thing to see if you are going to the USS Wisconsin and the Naval museum or if you staying in downtown area. Lots of people were exercising (walking and jogging) so it is a nice scene to pass by if you are doing that.
