Points for the name, borrowed from the nearby trail and surely eliciting squeals of delight from the old school train crowd! Front of the house staff were very friendly and patiently explained the different pastry options on offer--many of which looked amazing. First we went with breakfast; my brioche egg sandwich was quite good though my husband found his english muffin sandwich to be bland and unremarkable. Unfortunately, their food system needs some work. I ordered the sandwiches for dine in with my name. The kitchen staff prepares the orders, hurriedly mumbles a name on their way out of the kitchen and unless you are standing in the right spot to hear him, you don't know if that's your order or not. Making matters worse, our food was prepped to go. Staff did offer to plate it, but it seemed silly to also dirty dishes and plastic containers so we declined the offer. The pastries are really where Interurban shines! I had half of my husband's cinnamon roll three days later and it was amazing. Like Costco cinnamon roll amazing. And my roasted pineapple cheese danish was phenomenal the next day hot out of the toaster oven! I was going to take a picture but I devoured it before my wits were totally about me, so you'll just have to take my word on that one.

Lots of natural light from the large windows. Along with coffee, and beverages, they have a selection of pastries and cookies. Got a friendly greeting from both the cashier and barista. Ordered a London Fog Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam), and a Chocolate Croissant). The barista did a great job with the drink (steeped the tea and left the bag in), great foam on top. The croissant was fresh, tender, and flaky. With just enough chocolate filling. Overall it has a relaxed feel. With one exception. There is a television. Not of a fan of those devices. And although it has a nice selection of pastries, they were missing scones (IMHO). It's nice enough that I would stop again.

As are the employees. I'm always game to try their season lattes, so I went with the elderflower one on special. Loved the flavor. However I'll say, I always alwaysss ask for 'half' the flavoring / syrup and honestly that's plenty. So just a hot tip if you're not into anything overly sweet or flavored. My friend got the matcha latte and added a shot of espresso. That's a good pick here, too! It's been a bit since I've eaten of their menu but I'll be back for that because the options are great for a small cafe.

The central location makes it super convenient, and it has that perfect blend of cozy and vibrant that makes it great for both meeting up with friends or get some work done. In the warmer months, I enjoy the outdoor patio. They have a fireplace out there, and it's just the nicest spot to relax and enjoy a coffee to catch up with people and it's also a dog friendly! the inside atmosphere is nice--it's cute and well-lit. The staff are always friendly and helpful, which just adds to the whole experience.

I have no idea what the name means, but this café reminded me of when I lived in Los Angeles. Lots of different supplements, beauty, products, as well as of course, food, and drinks for health, conscious individuals. I enjoyed an açai bowl, as well as a very decadent chocolatey coffee drink that I can't stop thinking about weeks later, so I will definitely be back! What you now get for a London Fog Tea Latte is a drink with some dry foam on top and warm, flat milk underneath. Because I know they used to make these correctly, I took my drink back and asked about it. Long story short, they have replaced their original machines with manual steam wands and switched to "new and improved" machines that use automatic steaming. You place the wand in the milk, push a button, and voilà... a cup of lifeless hot milk. Dry foam on top, little to no texture below. It's fast, and I can see how it works well for a drive-through model. But it's a real disappointment for anyone who appreciates a properly textured latte with that smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Even with these machines, better texture is possible, but it takes more time and attention. When speed becomes the priority, quality is usually what suffers. The one consolation is that their Coffee Cake Muffins are still amazing.

Food: I checked online before coming, and they have an impressive list of drinks, both hot and cold. We ordered a couple of lattes. Mine was a London Fog Tea Latte (a little lavender, a little vanilla) in a mug, and hers was a Coffee Vanilla Latte with almond milk. They did a great job with both of them. My London Fog had great flavor, well-textured foam, and was a good temperature. They did leave the tea bag in, which might be their standard practice, but I prefer the tea to be fully steeped and then have the bag removed. Otherwise, removing the bag later messes with all the wonderful foam (next time I would ask). Each of us got a scone. Mine was blueberry, and hers was white chocolate raspberry, warmed up and plated. Both were very good. If I had to be completely honest, these scones are more like muffins than traditional scones. However, they were both delicious. Service: As soon as we walked up to the counter, it was nothing but friendly vibes and helpful service. They stepped us through the details of the order ("whole milk okay, how much flavor, etc."). They didn't rush the orders and took their time getting them right. When the bakery items were heated up, they brought them to our table. They do have some bakery items, scones, cookies including gluten free options. The cafe is very cute and the staff were very friendly.
