A true little tea shop, which also sells plenty of ingredients (like rose petals) if you want to make your own blends. Bought a few teas to take home as well, but sadly they were out of the tea I liked the most, I believe it was something like mango turmeric. There is nowhere to sit! But you can order a cup of hot or cold from any of the teas they have. Wish this was closer to me!

Lisa was friendly and offered to assist me, but I was not in for a long shopping day that day. A day or two later, I used some of the tea and was greatly impressed, so much so that I made the trip from my home on the southside to Mequon to get a 4 ounce bag of it. My husband joined me on the trip and picked up some high-quality cinnamon. This will not be our last trip. Hope to see you soon, Lisa! Make sure you have the time to peruse all of their wares and if you have a moment you can sit in a comfy nook to check out The Food Network. If I have the time, I'd definitely check out their spices and get inspired for my evening meal. Next time, I plan on trying the sweet onion sugar as a glaze for my next ham. The hubs was impressed with their salt and pepper selections.

From wine to tea to matcha and coffee, the selection is great. I have been loving their white mocha, but they recently had a vanilla rose latte for February that was delicious!! I normally get a London Fog Tea Latte, and they used to be very good. These last couple of times, it's as if they steep the tea and then add warmed milk to it. No foam, no creamy texture. Just a mug of tea with flat warm milk. So this time I took my drink back and talked to the barista. I showed her the drink, and she acknowledged that it definitely was not very creamy or foamy. But here is the part that really floored me. She said that they use an "auto steamer" (which is a steaming and frothing device used by larger coffee chains) and that there was nothing they could do about this situation. Seriously? They then just looked at me with blank stares. Totally bizarre for a small local shop that considers itself to be unique and focused on quality.

First time here. Here with my sister to have a conversation, a hot beverage, and a piece of bakery…read more Glad we did. Food: I checked online before coming, and they have an impressive list of drinks, both hot and cold. We ordered a couple of lattes. Mine was a London Fog Tea Latte (a little lavender, a little vanilla) in a mug, and hers was a Coffee Vanilla Latte with almond milk. They did a great job with both of them. My London Fog had great flavor, well-textured foam, and was a good temperature. They did leave the tea bag in, which might be their standard practice, but I prefer the tea to be fully steeped and then have the bag removed. Otherwise, removing the bag later messes with all the wonderful foam (next time I would ask). Each of us got a scone. Mine was blueberry, and hers was white chocolate raspberry, warmed up and plated. Both were very good. If I had to be completely honest, these scones are more like muffins than traditional scones. However, they were both delicious. Service: As soon as we walked up to the counter, it was nothing but friendly vibes and helpful service. They stepped us through the details of the order ("whole milk okay, how much flavor, etc."). They didn't rush the orders and took their time getting them right. When the bakery items were heated up, they brought them to our table. I always got the feeling that they truly appreciated us being there. Atmosphere: The building is a quaint, wonderfully maintained historic brick building. There are café tables outside that would be great on a warmer day. When you enter, you are taken back in time. The vibe is authentic and relaxed. Much of the interior looks like it may be from long ago. It's a bit cluttered, which could be distracting, but I think it fits. There are enough windows to bring in a good amount of natural light. The counter has a large array of pastries, muffins, cookies, etc. The main area doesn't have a lot of seating, and I did find it a bit loud. There is a separate seating area toward the back with several more tables and much less noise, which is where we sat. A very good first visit. Would definitely come back again.

My dad got a breakfast sandwich and I stole a bite - it was tasty! I ordered a cortado and it came in the cutest little cup. It was solid, not the best cortado I've had in my life, but it did the trick. Will definitely be going back!
