There are many installers out there, but if you value attentive interactions and top-notch customer service, they are the ones for you! More details: Adam & Dean were the first people I dealt with. They listened to my current and future needs and proposed a system for me. They were extremely patient, walking me through the proposal, financials, outcome, rebate opportunities, and so on. Following a couple of revisions, we executed the agreement. During inspections of my home, we found we needed to replace the roof. That's when I started working with Moti and his team, who were phenomenal. They provided me with different options considering the benefits and prices. They were patient in providing swatches and so on. At this point, I also began working with Mian and Daisy (GoGreen's office) regarding permits, documentation for rebates, and more. That's when I realized I am working with a comprehensive team who are dedicated and committed to top-tier service and follow-up. The roof replacement did not go as smoothly as I hoped, due to rain! We had delays and some complications. GoGreen proved their commitment and addressed every complication! Once the roof was done, we had to replace the main electric panel, install the solar panels (15), batteries (2), and lastly install my car charger. Every person working for GoGreen was top-notch, with quality and attention to detail. Inspections by the city and Fire Dept. were well coordinated and all went smoothly. After installing and ensuring the system works properly, they even visited the site to ensure I am familiar with the controls over the system, optimizing it for my goals and needs. Through the whole process, communication was great, with updates on appointments, processes, documentation, and so on.

We went with Enphase even though it was a bit more expensive. If we had a Cybertruck then Tesla all the way because of the bidirectional charging. The other advantage is that they are also a roofing company so it was all quite seamless. We were able to combine the install with replacement of the dormer vents with flat fire-resistant ones so now we are not as concerned with fire embers. Their work was impeccable throughout and the post install service is exceptional. For instance we initially missed that the water heater was not included in the backup circuits. They sent a small crew back to take care of that at no additional cost. Several months later we realized that the wall oven which we rarely used is no longer powered. They sent someone to take care of that as well. So far the system is functioning well. I was a little surprised I found out that the production calculation (120% of last year's use) is misleading. On a sunny day, by noon our batteries are full and the power generated for the rest of the day goes to the grid and is essentially wasted here in California. When I am home I can minimize this waste by charging my electric car which covers my day to day driving as it turns out. I manage it by using the Enlighten app's live status. I suppose I could have bought more batteries but I already own extra batteries. It's in the car.

But GIM never had an issue answering questions and took the time to ensure I fully understood what was going to happen and they executed. They are truly professional and take pride with their work. Panels, conduit and all looks amazing and was exactly what I ordered. If you have competing bids, show them to GIM and they will explain the differences and show you the tactics the 'others' may be using. I would recommend 100%.

Carlos came out did some rewiring told us to have a CAT 5 cable ran to have a direct connect for our app and then he would come back to ensure everything was working properly. Before the CAT 5 was installed the inverter stopped working again. I called Carlos, he said to give him a call the following week because he had a big job out of town. No problem. I totally understand. I tried to reconnect with him several times. Sometimes he picks up sometimes he doesn't. Last time we spoke we picked a tentative appointment date for him to come out. When I called him to confirm he wouldn't return my call. This has gone on for over a month and a half. Disappointed and a waste of time to say the least especially because he had other great reviews.
