She offered a free panel cleaning, which she set up internally and had their team come out this past Friday without issue. Since the cleaning the panels have been much better performing especially after these past few weeks of misting and rain, about 25% higher output. I didn't think much of it but I get now it's worth doing to get the most out of the panels. Overall a very good response and experience with OC specifically for this issue. I feel that they do want to stand out from the crowd and responding proactively to feedback gives me more confidence they'll take care of issues as they hear about them.

Every person who came out was professional and respectful. What really set them apart was handling both our full roof replacement and solar installation together. I didn't want a roofing company and solar company pointing fingers at each other down the road -- OC Solar eliminates that headache entirely. Their pricing was competitive, and their substantial warranty sealed the deal. Highly recommend them if you're considering solar!

We had new construction and solar was required. I contacted Infinity Solar and they walked us through each step of the process, and they were very patient and understanding through our numerous construction delays. I was connected with Nick who was great! Most solar companies only wanted to consult over the phone but Nick was more than happy to come meet with us. He looked at our construction and walked us through the next steps, explained who would handle what portion of the installation. Nick coming out and answering our questions made us feel more comfortable about the process. Sara was also great! She checked in on us periodically to see where we were in the construction process. She understood our delays and never made us feel pressured or rushed. They handled the permit process, kept us apprised of when it was approved and when our equipment was received. Infinity does their own installation which was a huge plus. I heard many stories of solar companies contracting out and not having the work pass inspection and the nightmare to get it corrected through the solar company because they did not do the install. Ivan and his crew came out to install. Ivan was patient, explained what they were going to do and what options we had for placement of the equipment. He was very knowledgeable and professional along with his team. They completed the install in a day. If you are looking for solar and want the process to be stress free and feel confident the work will be done right, I highly recommend Infinity Solar!

Absolutely First-Rate from Start to Finish When the fires…read morehit Southern California and we lost power for two weeks, something changed for me. I remember standing outside one night listening to my neighbor's generator roar to life again. It sounded like a chainsaw tearing through the quiet. Across the street, friends with solar and batteries had their lights on. Their kids were inside watching TV. Life looked normal. Meanwhile, I was packing up my family to leave our home. Rising electricity rates, AI data centers consuming massive amounts of power, and talk of double digit rate increases made going solar the right thing to do. I researched heavily. Built a spreadsheet. Interviewed over a dozen companies. Got bids through Energy Sage, cold called installers, and asked around for referrals. I wasn't looking for a sales pitch. I was looking for people I could trust with my home and my family's security. Infinity Solar felt different from the start. I didn't have to deal with brokers or middlemen to jack up prices. They are family owned, in business over 25 years, BBB A+ rated, and 5 stars on Yelp. Tim, the owner is a C10 licensed contractor, sets the tone for the entire company. His pride and commitment to doing things right shows up in every person on his team. Sara, our project manager, kept everything organized with clear, proactive communication. Blake handled the maze of permitting. If you've dealt with solar permitting in California you know what a mess it is. State, county, city, and fire department all with their own rules. Blake stayed on top of all of it so I didn't have to. Joel made sure the job site ran smoothly. The crew deserves real recognition: electricians Adrian, Ivan, Salvador, and Christian; roof lead Arni; installers Jose, Gabriel, Kieren, Israel, Erik, and Robert; and Deyvis helping with inspection. They showed up on time, worked hard, kept everything clean, and answered my endless questions without ever making me feel like I was in the way. Construction always has bumps. Permits get revised, inspectors want changes. What mattered was how Infinity handled it. Calmly, professionally, and without disappearing. Tim must be a good boss and take care of his people because this is a crew of highly skilled workers who take real pride in what they do. The day the system went live felt like a turning point. Our first outage was December 23rd while setting up for a Christmas party. Power was out over eight hours. The lights never flickered. I only knew because the app alerted me. Tim included a Solar Insure 30 year warranty covering panels, microinverters, wiring, and roof penetrations, including labor. It's backed by an A+ Superior rated third party insurer and is transferable if I sell my home. An installer's warranty is useless if they go out of business, so this gives real peace of mind. Because I verify everything, I called Solar Insure, Enphase, FranklinWH, and REC directly to confirm Infinity is a Premium or Platinum installer with each. They are. I'll break even in 8 years at current rates, sooner when rates keep climbing, and you know they will. But more than savings, it's peace of mind. When the grid goes down, our house doesn't. Infinity Solar gave our family back a sense of stability. I'm grateful we chose them.

This company is the worst. They do not know how to install a roof or fix the roof they installed…read more We had our entire roof (pitched and flat) replaced by them in 2018. We have had the flat part of the ceiling leak EVERY YEAR since they fixed it. We call, they schedule us, someone comes weeks later and they say they "fixed" it but then next time it rains it leaks again. They blamed our vents so we were stupid enough to pay these people to remove the vents because we didn't want to void the warranty by having someone else do it and guess what? Now the roof leaks in DIFFERENT parts. Worse part is that now we're starting to see STAINS on the ceiling from WATER DAMAGE. The last guy said it doesn't affect the integrity of the roof but he found wet spots THROUGHOUT the ceiling 2 weeks AFTER the rain. I have a toddler in here and they want to claim that a ceiling that is still wet after 2 weeks of no rain is safe??? I just HOPE that there is no mold, mildew, it wood rot in between these layers of wet wood! My husband has been calling and they are giving him the run around about scheduling someone to come. I tried calling and when they did call back they called to say they had no updates on when someone could assess the roof further. I have written a review in the past about our issues with the install and the first leaks, it's lost in all the other complaints they have about leaking roofs. If you still are on the fence about using this company you can read all of those and save yourself the trouble we didn't. Avoid them!

Their quote, plus their high reviews made them the logical choice, and we have no regrets. From the person who did the site inspection, Jose, to the installers, everyone seemed very friendly, respectful of our property/wishes, and it was clear they were experienced and knew what they were doing. Being up against a deadline, we really couldn't afford to fail the city inspection, and we passed easily. Thanks to the salesman Mark Howe for his direction, & to Henry Melling for a great design and implementation. We were not excited at the idea of having all that stuff on the side of our house, but honestly, the installation was so neatly done, with a few plants added over there, I'm sure we can acclimate. The battery placement in the garage was genius -- up and out of our way! Everything is functioning as it should, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend California Solar & Electric. THANKS to them for a job well done, and ON TIME!! We couldn't be happier.

I won't sign with this company if I review at frist. After signing the contract with Freedom Solar,…read morethe installation of the solar system and the subsequent service process have resulted in an extremely exhausting and frustrating customer experience for us, both physically and mentally. Since the installation began in June 2025, the project has encountered multiple issues. More concerning, however, is the lack of effective internal documentation and tracking within your company, which has forced the customer to wait repeatedly, communicate repeatedly, and repeatedly explain the situation from the beginning. Below is a summary of several key issues: 1. Construction damage not recorded After installation, the exterior wall of the house was damaged. The workers promised to repair it within two or three days, but no progress was made for two weeks. I eventually contacted my own, only to discover that there was no record of this issue in your system at all, and the repair was arranged only then. 2. Incorrect permit and equipment information After a long period with no progress, I proactively contacted Edison and was informed that my home's permit was not even in the system, and that the correct equipment to be installed should have been a Gateway, not the Backup Switch that was originally communicated to me. Had the customer not followed up, it is unclear how long this error would have continued to delay the project. 3. Repeated roof leakage with no record After the system was energized, roof leakage occurred. On January 8, an inspection confirmed that the issue was your company's responsibility, and a repair was promised. However, there was no update or follow-up for the next 10 days. When I called again, I was told that there was still no related record in the system, and the only option was to reschedule technicians to "inspect again." It has been almost one month, and the rainy days are coming again.

I regret choosing Freedom Forever…read more To be clear, the system itself appears to function. That's the only positive thing I can say. Everything beyond installation has been extremely disappointing. I requested a system performance review in October. What followed was months of chasing updates, multiple phone calls, and repeated assurances that my case had been "escalated." Despite this, I received no meaningful communication or timeline. It ultimately took several months to complete what should be a straightforward production review. That alone is unacceptable. After the review was finally completed, I attempted to move forward and asked about options to better align production with my actual energy usage. I was told a separate team would reach out within 7 business days. They didn't. No outreach. No update. No accountability. This has become a pattern: Missed timelines with no follow-through "Escalations" that go nowhere Different teams with no ownership The burden constantly falling on the customer to chase answers The most frustrating part is not the outcome--it's the complete lack of execution and communication. Once the system is installed, you are essentially on your own unless you're willing to continuously follow up and push for answers. If you're considering Freedom Forever, understand this: the sales process may sound great, but the post-install support experience is disorganized, slow, and unreliable. I would not recommend working with a company that operates this way.
