After owning our new car for a week we decided to get our windows tinted. Reviews were good here so we thought it was reliable. After getting it tinted, the rear part of the car was not working (trunk button, lowering seat button, etc.). There were no problems with the car before getting the windows tinted, but they told us they had nothing to do with it when clearly problems started to occur once tinting was done. Car dealership that the tinting liquid was the issue, and we were charged $1000 to pay for the damage. read more

They did a very nice job on my husbands car. We got the 3m 35 % and it looks great on his dodge. However, I want to point out one thing that I felt was a little dishonest on their part. When I emailed to get a price quote I was given a price of $229. When we went in, we found out this price was for their low end film that has no warranties. The 3m stuff is much more expensive. Like $319 and up more expensive. So I felt it was a little bait and switch tactic. I felt that when they quote prices they should give you the cost of the 3m films since that is what they advertise on their website. Most people aren't going to buy cheap, no warranty stuff that's going to turn purple. Zac is a good guy and did a great job, they just need to be upfront with the cost of the 3m film when quoting for customers. read more

Just had my Subaru Outback done today. Zachary the manager knows his window tint and you can tell he loves what he does. The office is spotless as so is the work garage. They do excellent work, and very clean. My car was spotless after they tinted my windows. You pay a little more but it's worth the peace and mind they will do a great job, and take care of your car. Best window tinting I ever got. Paid $49 more in case I scratch the film...unlimited. They will replace it for free. Another piece of mind. Included is a lifetime warranty for adhesion and fading. Takes about 2 hours. He only has one garage and another guy who works with him. Garage is not messy like other tinting places where there is a bunch of guys working on several cars. So you don't have to worry knowing your car will be taken care of with the best intentions. They are on 82nd ave across from Sears at Clackamas town center behind Stereo King in the back building. Definitely recommend! Plus they only work with the best tinting materials available- 3M, Windowtec. read more

Just got my 2012 Ford F150 FX4 front two windows done to match the tint in the back. Zac is very knowledgable and understands the 3M product very well. He had the truck done in 45 minutes. He explained the striping was normal, not to put down the windows for 48 hours and to use ammonium free glass cleaner. We jumped in the truck and he had put tape over the switches as a reminder not to put them down, thanks Zac! Edit: My wife found a bubble on the passenger window. The owner did the two front windows on my brand new 2020 Silverado trailboss. The workmanship was very nice, however, there was a really bad stench left behind. I noticed it right away but gave it a few days to go away. The smell did not die down. It's similar to the smell of cooking cabbage or broccoli. My observations over a few days was that the smell was coming from the film. You place your nose at the film and it's right there. I called the owner to ask why the film smelled like this and his response was I've never heard anyone say this in the 25 years I've been installing tint. He said that I need to look around my truck to make sure there wasn't rotting food... I don't eat in my truck and there's nothing in it. It used to smell like new leather. He offered no logical advise or answer to the issue. I called another shop and they said the smell is more than likely the tint as it's probably cheap tint. This shop said good quality tint won't smell. I called the owner back to inquire further. The owner said that it's probably the smells of all the new materials in my truck combining. At this point I heard two excuses from him trying to blame the smell on other sources. It was clear he had no intention on trying to fix or resolve the issue. I said you're probably not willing to reinstall or refund me and if that was the case then I'd be removing the tint and having another shop remove and instal. The owner said that I should investigate further before removing. The next day I had another shop remove and instal. This shop said the film they removed was very cheap and thin. I paid a little over $200 for two windows to be tinted by Elite. This new shop charged me a total of $150 to remove and reinstall with a much higher quality film that has a much longer warranty. It matches better as well and it doesn't smell at all. I lost over $200 by using Elite. This is my experience but I'm sure there have been many positive ones. read more

These guys are amazing at this shop. I took my car there after having a terrible experience with Ace Car Reconditioning. I walked him around the car and showed him all the issues with the tint. He agreed that the job was a complete disaster and he said something i was beyond surprised to hear. He told me to "go back to the shop and give them a chance to fix it". Any other business would have told me what it would cost to fix and would take my money right then and there, but no he believed that they deserve to fix the issue. I eventually came back and had him take off all the old film and replace it with 3M Color Stable film. The difference is night and day. There are no bubbles, no cracks, no hairs, it was incredibly well done and will forever take my cars to get tinted at this location. He also offers a warranty for a very reasonable price that allows you to go back and get any window re-tinted any number of times for any reason what so ever. Whether you scratch it, or it breaks, or anything it is covered. Great company and will always recommend them to others. read more
