I am shocked at the 4 stars reviews for this company. After numerous calls and texts, I received a call back from a gentleman named Donnie that he would come out to give me a quote. He told me he was in the neighborhood and could swing by in a few minutes. He arrived in a small pickup with an asphalt sealant barrel in the back and mentioned he would be doing the work, not the owner Vinny as I had requested. He said he could do it at that moment. Now, I spent weeks researching reviews and looking at past projects to ensure I am hiring someone that will do a good job. I have had crappy sealant done in the past that was not applied correctly. I informed Donnie that I only wanted Vinny the owner, to do the work. I did not want it done that day, though rather a day when rain was not in the forecast. I called the owner after he left and set up a date for 1 1/2 weeks later for him to come by and do the work. I told him that I didn't want the job subbed out. He understood and confirmed again the date and time. Today I was supposed to have the driveway sealed by Vinny. I put in a call and three texts yesterday and this morning to confirm my appoint. To my surprise, I receive a TEXT from Donnie, telling me that Vinny had a family emergency and he would be at my home to do the job?? Really? After I specifically told you that I don't want the work subbed out? I told him no, i wanted Vinny to do the job or I would rather cancel. He said, okay - we'll cancel your appointment. It sounds like your racsist. lol Seriously, the racsist card? WTH. what an awful way to run your business. Be better - do better. read more

1) I RARELY do merchant and vendor reviews - mainly restaurants from my travels etc. HOWEVER when I have something GREAT to say I will do so. Setup for this review: 2) This is the Lynch Shack's 31 year old driveway (built 1985 Hine home), that has been through harsh winters & 3 hurricanes. I have sealed it since I bought the house in 2004. I have used 4 different "sealcoating companies" that I can half remember, probably a "traveler" outfit rip-off folks when I first moved in, and of course done it myself a few times. The patient/this driveway is on life support - my goal is to seal the cracks and holes and stop further destruction from water intrusion, freezing and Peconic Propane's hulking truck backing in to fuel my tank. It's 20% appearance and 80% protection and replacement avoidance --- $$$$. Vinnie on the phone and James who came out were professional, competitive, and in the end (the only thing I care about of course) did the BEST job so far. They use very good products, he put some nice material in the cracks (not just some sand and colored water filler garbage that washes away in the first rain) , fixed the broken pieces (of which there are many) and did extensive PREP & CLEANING (which leads to a long lasting sealcoat) , lots of brushing and clearing, etc. Highly accurate application: no garage, Belgium block, or apron errors or mistakes. The driveway is very well sealed, ready for whatever rain, ice, snow, cold etc that Mother Nature will bring. Thank you Elite Sealcoating!!!! You will be back next year. read more

This company did an amazing job on my driveway! The whole process from start to finish was exceptional. They picked up on the first call and provided me an estimate in minites using Google maps. I priced out with several companies and Elite was very reasonable and competitive. I could tell the product they used was high quality and it wasn't the cheap watered down stuff most seal coating companies use. They prepped the driveway and cleared all weeds and ant hills. Cleaned everything well and went to town sealing. They were extremely careful with the pavers and garage as well. Highly recommend, I surely will be using them every year. read more

Actually answers calls or calls u right back! Priced out our Court. (10 driveways) Showed up when promised. Owner Vinny and crew were friendly. They removed all weeds and filled cracks. Thick material applied, squeeged nicely, blended well.Uniform color. All neighbors thought prices were fair and loved the job when finished. Referred to my family in other towns too. 2nd happy year will absolutely use again. Thanks Elite read more

Let me start by saying this- I am a hard man to please. I typically only write reviews if I absolutely love a company, or if I have a terrible experience. Last year after reading so many positive reviews about this company, i decided to hire Vinnie and Elite Sealcoating to seal my driveway. It looked gorgeous when they were done, and the guys who did the work were both extremely nice, and they did a great job. I then referred all of my family and friends to Vinnie after my experience with him, and my in-laws used him about a week after mine was done to do their driveway. It's been about 11 months and their driveway still looks as great as it did the day they had it done by Vinnie last year. In my case, about 11 months after they sealed my driveway, even though the driveway still looked amazing, I started noticing some of the cracks were starting to come back, so I called Vinnie and explained this, and without hesitation, he said he'd come back to redo the entire job. He held true to his word and was here within a couple of days and completely resealed my driveway. I've had so many contractors do work to my home and I can't say how rare it is to find a contractor who stands behind his work like Vinnie and Elite Sealcoating does. No questions asked, he just listened to my issue, said he'd be back to fix it, and within a few short days it was done. Finding a contractor who stands behind their work and keeps their word like this is almost as rare as hitting the powerball jackpot. To me, trust is the X-factor when hiring contractors to work on your home, and after my experience with Vinnie and his company, I can tell you with 100% certainty that this is a man you can trust to keep his word and stand behind his work. Yes, quality of work and price are both very important, but the most important thing to me is if you can trust a company to do the job right, and trust them to come back if you notice a problem after the initial job is done. I will never use anyone else for the rest of my life now that I know this company uses top quality material, the price is fair, and most importantly, I can trust him to come back if I notice any issues after the job is done. I plan on putting in a brand new driveway in a few years, and I will tell you now that I won't even be calling anyone else. Elite Sealcoating has won my trust, so they will be doing anything I need in the future when it comes to my driveway. So my advice to all you Yelpers out there looking to have work done to your driveway...call Vinnie before you hire anyone else, make sure you tell him about any other quotes you got, and give him a shot before you hire one of these other shady, bootleg companies out there. This company is the real deal and Vinnie takes care of his customers until they're 100% happy. My driveway looks absolutely gorgeous now due to Vinnie and his company, and I can rest easy knowing that if any other problems ever do pop up (which I don't expect), I can tell Vinnie and he'll come right back to address whatever the problem might be. Top notch company with top notch employees. Hire Elite Sealcoating and you won't be disappointed. read more

Elite Sealcoating - Beautifully sealed driveway. - General Contractors Near Me

We recently needed our driveway sealed and we did some research and found that Elite Sealcoating had many very good reviews. We are located Oakdale. We decided to move forward with this company and dealt directly with the owner Vincent. The estimate process was very easy and in fact was done in about a half hour without even visiting to look at the driveway. Vincent gave me some times slots that could fit the schedule and we agreed that they would come the very next day. Vincent was professional, reliable and did a really nice job on our driveway. It was a real pleasure dealing with Elite and I would recommend using them. I know I will definitely use their services again in the future. Tony read more

Super nice guys. Did a great job at my house in Ronkonkoma. Would recommend hands down. Easy to deal with and very communicative.

I gave Elite Sealcoating 4 stars due to the a delay in scheduling since I took the day off and had alot of appointments, so the arrival time threw me off, just to be fair, I'm a stickler for being prompt. In terms of being neat, thorough and professional, I couldn't be more pleased. The owner was courteous and engaging. The finished product looked like a sheet of glass, just beautiful, and I can tell you with certainly that I will be using this company in the future. read more

What do you look for in a contractor? I want someone who is Responsive, Responsible, Reliable, Respectful and does quality work. Based on my experience VInny meets this standard. Our driveway is 6 years old and was in relatively good shape but in need of a seal-coat with a couple of problem areas. Vinny came to give an estimate a few weeks ago and with a fair price and good reviews on Yelp I decided to hire him. On work day (today) he arrived when scheduled, did a thorough job of preparation clearing leaves and removing small growing weeds in the cracks before applying the seal-coat carefully covering the driveway and all edges while being careful to keep all pavers clean. When finished and after paying the estimated rate, he reiterated that he guarantees his work and if there is any disappointment whatsoever when drying is complete to call and he will come back (I'm pretty confident that this was done right the first time and that will not be necessary). I am a satisfied customer! read more

After receiving a few estimates, I knew I wanted to go with Vinny, the owner of Elite Sealcoating. His honesty and straightforward demeanor came through, and I just knew he would stand by his word. We made an appointment for a Sunday in the late afternoon. Two hours before he was supposed to arrive, he called me to say that he had car trouble. I was all set to reschedule, and then he said that he would still try to make it after fixing the problem. I really didn't expect him to show up and left the house to go food shopping. While I'm on line, who do you think called? Sure enough, it was Vinny telling me that he would still show up if I wanted him to do the job! He ended up coming at 6:30 on a Sunday evening! That speaks volumes about his professionalism and character. He did the job cleanly and neatly. read more
