I am extremely satisfied with the seal coating and hot rubber crack repair that was completed on Friday, May 31, 2019. The crew contacted me to advise me they were 15 minutes away. The time window was from 9-noon. The crew of 3 arrived at 11:45am and the job was fully completed at 12:30pm. Very professional, very organized. I didn't catch the names of the crew but they are hard working individuals who work in very warm weather yet their attitude was positive and did a fantastic job! My neighbors and mailman were extremely impressed with work especially noticing that no product was on pavers that surround the blacktop. They did a horrible job on my driveway. Told me to make sure my driveway was dry and came and applied everything when rain was expected. It poured very soon after they left even though I asked to reschedule because of the forecast. They insisted it wasn't going to rain, and the employees were told to do it anyway and the results were horrible. Less than zero customer service, and horrible work. I have a 1yr old driveway that needed its 1st sealcoat. I hired Jet Black because of the good reviews for an agreed price of $350. They called the day before the appt stating that they would be here between 8AM-6PM the day of the appt. By mid-morning on the day of the appt, I called to try to get an approximate time and was told that between 2-4PM they would be here and would call minutes before that they were on their way, she also reminded me to remove all vehicles from the driveway. Which we did early that AM and had arranged to park 1 of my vehicles at a different location for the duration (which cost me $100). By 5;30PM no call, I called the office again and their msg stated that they closed at 4PM, I left a very stern msg (no profanities or threats). I finally received a call the next morning from 1 of their employees stating that they could not get to us. I said have the owner call me. He did and I expressed my anger (waiting 10 hours and paying for off-premise parking of a vehicle) and if he wanted to save the job that I would pay him $200 cash and he didn't counter offer as he didn't feel he should give me any consideration. At that point he said to me that "this conversation is over" and hung up. Based on the reviews we expected a lot more and we got NOTHING. read more
