I was asked questions, they did simple tests including watching my gait as I walked. I was given a few extremely simple exercises for my core, none for my glute. I did the exercises and didn't see any improvement after 10 days. I went online to WebMD and found exercises to build strength in my glutes that took amount 10 minutes a day. After a week, I could get into my car and climb stairs more easily. The side benefit is my balance is better. The cost for the one visit was $315.00. I expected more. FYI about a decade ago I had a back issue, instead of going to a P.T. I went to well qualified Personal Trainer who worked with me and helped me to strengthen my back. In the future I will go to a personal trainer at a gym. $315 would have gotten me 6 sessions.

You are greeted by friendly and informative staff. They show you how to check in and give directions to the room . As my husband and I went to the elevator we noticed how clean everything was. We also noticed the PT areas and activity areas were also very well maintained. We made over way to our friend room and dinner was being served. OMG ! It looked , smelt and from what he said , tasted delicious. ( the other facility's food wasn't even close to being that good ). I don't think it's appropriate to name them as I don't write bad reviews. Hathrone Hill is worth writing about. I think it's hard enough to see a family or friend going through medical issues. In all that time I only saw him out of bed once. He was just left in his gown in bed wearing a diaper. A few weeks before his death he complained of great pain in his left heel; it hurt to even touch the bed sheet. He was taken to the hospital suffering from necrotizing (dead) skin; it was black and hard. Probably keeping him bed 24/7 caused this. After his hospital stay, he was taken back to Brentwood; shortly after he was found dead in bed. I visited Brentwood in the days after my brother's death to retrieve any personal belongings. While I was at the nurses station, I heard staff calling out that a patient was unresponsive; a staff person came running to the station looking for the AED device that was supposed to be in its place in a case by the station; the case was empty. The aide then ran to the elevator and was waiting for the elevator (which could take a while) to presumably go somewhere else to get an AED; someone came out of the dialysis unit and handed her one of those devices that's supposed to help get air in to a person's lungs; she took it and ran to the room. I think this facility offers bare bones care; not the worst, but not the best. They definitely need to improve based upon what I saw.

I called 911 and had the police do a wellness check on her because of the neglect. I had her transferred back to a hospital as soon as possible. Do your research before you send your loved ones here. Don't let fancy flyers, pictures and websites fool you. Do the research before hand. Also, I'd give "NO STARS" if it would let me.
