Now in spring, planning repairs and wanted to try to ensure the rodent problem was over. Signed up for a 2nd look. Squirrel environment drastically changed since first service, two wooded lots now have homes, neighbors have done some heavy tree trimming. Same 5 days of monitoring. Camera set up late afternoon on Monday, expecting monitoring until Friday, or Saturday with late Monday start. Got couple of email notes, no activity on camera. Tuesday was rain day, squirrels were staying home. Valor was out at 8 am Thursday and pulled the camera and noted they found nothing, ending service in an email. Only 2 1/2 days of service. There was no call or contact with us saying they were cutting service prior to Friday / Saturday afternoon - 5 days. Called Valor to ask why pulled early. Said they saw nothing, pulled it early. First service squirrels were caught on 3rd and 5th days. Asked if we'd get a pro rated refund for the 2 days not serviced. They said no. They BOOKED BILL like auto shops or plumbers/electricians - set price no matter how fast they complete the job. They got their full payment and make extra money by moving on to next job early. But with those other folks, their work is completed. Valor said they knew it was done. Guess they talked with the squirrels and got a written agreement. Major takeaway is Valor's determination of end of service when they think so, not any kind of duration of service. They claim the 5 days is an UP TO approximation, they really determine the end, and in our experience, with no prior contact with the customer. Only an email saying they pulled the equipment. We will never use them again, nor would we recommend their services with that kind of business / customer service. We'll just go national next time.

We got sick and tired of the kids being chewed up in the backyard even on a sunny day. Family includes wife and two kids- 6 and 3. We spend a very considerable amount of time outside throughout the day and often drinking beers on the patio at night. Our services with Mosquito Shield started with the first spray on 5/18/21. I plan to update my review throughout the summer and ultimately give a final review at the end of mosquito season when I decide whether to renew for next summer. 5/18: MS provided their first spray of the year. Was fast and easy. Some smell that lasted only a few mins. No health concerns about being outside 30 mins after the spray. First few weeks have been great! Not sure if I saw a single mosquito in the month of May! 6/4: MS completed their second spray of the season. Very similar experience to the first spray except even faster. Tech was at on site maybe 5-7 mins. We spent much time outside the night of 6/4 and were a bit disappointed with the results- the mosquitoes were not great after the sun went down. Ended up with some bites. Similar experience on the backyard patio the night of 6/5. Day experience has been excellent with no mosquitoes seen. Will continue to update our experience through the summer!

When I expressed my concern, he responded, " Don't worry you can trust me". You already paid to collect too much of my information without my knowledge. Why would I trust you?

I had a great experience with Avery, my account manager. Ike, the technician was fantastic and came a few times last spring & summer (2024), even finding possible access points. But, after Ike and Avery left the company, the service when down. After several communications, with me having to explain so many times, it was determined they could "no longer" supply me with that "service"; there seems to be a lot of their good people leaving, and they are no longer able to provide good customer service. I canceled their service, even though the mice still find their way into the attic. Unfortunately, I can no longer rate this company as high as I would have last year. I hope they find their groove again and build their customer service to the previous high standards.
