Elite Lock Service - 5 stars!!!! - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - North Bergen, New Jersey

They always make good keys and if for any reason, the keys don't fit, you can bring them back and they'll fix them or refund your money.

Showed up 5 mins before opening and owner(?) took me no problem. In and out in minutes to have the battery replaced in 2 car key fobs.

Came by just 20 minutes before they were closing to see if they could program my vehicle key and the remote. They guy was so amazingly helpful and helped me right away. He explained the whole process and before you know it, he was all done. Superb customer service and knowledge of products! read more

1/3rd the cost of previous locksmiths I've used in Jersey City/NYC; Genti even even offered to come at the moment and charge the same rate, when other locksmiths I've used tacked on a hefty premium for 'emergency' same day service. The job was done professionally and in a timely, affable manner. Most locksmiths rush out right after the job. He explained what was wrong with the previous lock installation and schooled me on electronic locks/etc on his own time for free which I appreciated given I do plan to upgrade to e-keys soon. Everytime I called the store, someone picked up asap, they have a storefront too post-covid with reasonable prices which is nice. Whether a tenant or owner, the price is unmatched. If you're a landlord in the area, it's a no brainer, I'd drive an extra town or three over for given how efficient they are. read more

I needed a lock installed on my bedroom door, but wanted it to match the other brass locks in the house. I called a few other places who were either super rude or never returned my call. The guy I spoke to, I think his name was Willy? at Elite was very professional and kind. He took his time and did the job right, and the price was very reasonable. Will definitely be using them again and recommending them wherever possible. read more

These guys are incredible. Service is top-notch, the guy who work there is very nice and very knowledgeable. They provide high quality service and products at a very reasonable price. I called them to change a lock and add an extra Mul-T lock to my entrance door. They did it the same day, fast and well done. Two thumbs up, highly recommended locksmith. Probably the best in the Hudson County! read more

Had a strange experience this morning of getting locked IN my condo. Being handy, I tried to fix the problem myself but it was beyond my grasp. Cue Genti (probably misspelling that.) He arrived 30 mins after calling and not only opened the door for me (freedom!) but also great conversation and mechanical insight as he replaced the door knob. Highly recommend. Friendly locksmiths, timely phone service. read more

Terrific customer service. Explained what I needed over the phone and sent some pictures of my door and current locks via email. I was provided an estimate right away and they did not attempt to upsell me on something that I didn't need (they recommended that I pick up a certain part from Home Depot). The service was scheduled for a few days later and Benny arrived on time (wearing a mask), took care of the work quickly and efficiently, and then neatly cleaned up all of the dust and debris. Everything was done very quickly and professionally and for a reasonable price. I would definitely do business with this company again. read more

Benny gave me an initial quote over the phone to change 2 locks in our building. The first appointment was canceled due to a conflict. My brother ended up installing one of the two locks. A 2nd appointment was set up for the other lock. During the appointment, Ganti (sp?) gave me a number of different options for the lock replacement and explained everything clearly. We ended up choosing the simplest solution. Price was less than the initial quote. Good communications in general. Solid service. Will use them again. Happy customer. read more

I needed to unlock a safe and they got the job done in 5 minutes and made me a spare for super cheap. They were very helpful and nice.

Recently got video intercom installed, among other things. They were so great and helpful and the end product works great , is of high quality and looks great. Damien took the time to explain everything to me and the team worked well in spackling and working with the current house. They were super professional and I can't say anything negative. Awesome job! read more

Today I had an appointment at a location near Elite Lock Service. My driver dropped me off and there was no body at the location. I had no cash, no phone, or any idea where I was. I walked up the block at went in to Elite. I asked the gentleman if he could help me. He uses his phone twice to help me locate either my ride or my destination. He was so kind, I know this is not business related, but to have kind staff makes a business. Should I ever need your service I know where to find dependable people. Thank you, thank you so much to this gentleman, from the lost 'Chart House" lady. So refreshing to know there are good and helping people in this sometimes scary world. Thank you again. read more

I used them 3 times already (1.when I first moved to change my locks 2.when locked myself out and 3.when my keys were lost) They are prompt, fast and professional. Would use them again for sure. read more

On a very cold January 2, the key to my residential garage door broke inside the lock. With no other windows or doors to get in, I called Elite who quickly sent over a personable fellow by the name of Benny. He knew exactly what to do, and when he was done, it was like nothing had happened. Reasonable pricing rounds out my excellent experience with this place -- will use them again if need be! read more

He sounded ok on the phone. I don't know much about prices, so when I went to buy a new lock, I found it a bit expensive, so I said " wow, why so expensive?" He looked at me with a cold face for a few seconds, then he said, " I don't know what to tell you, but you live in ....... (name of condo), and you find this expensive?" read more

New to North Bergen and we visited Elite Lock Smith to make copies of our keys. The service was fast and Damion was pleasant to work with. They were able to make copies of every key. Unlike lowe's who only had one of our keys. The parking in the area is bad so we parked temporarily in their parking lot behind the building. read more

Both my BMW X5 remote keys were off. Fixed both fast while waiting. Both work now for less than 1/3 of buying new keys at the dealer. These guys are honest pros. Going here for all my cars and locks. Highest recommendation! read more

Great service! Damian was very helpful and really made an effort to solve my problem. I had tried to get my key copied at Walmart and Lowe's, but they didn't have the program. The key was not standard, but he figured out a way to make one anyway. He did this quickly and seemed like he really wanted to help me. I felt it wasn't just about the sale; he takes pride in figuring things out and helping others. I highly recommend Damian because people that want to help you and take pride in their work usually do the best job. A+++ read more

Terrible way to do business or even treat a person.. I walked into an empty store to get a couple of keys made .. After 10 minutes the technician came in, and without a word to me , sat down at the key machine and was working .. still not a word .. he then got up and walked out again .. after a few more minutes he came back in and the same thing all over again .. still never acknowledged I was even there ! Now a third occurrence, he comes in, doesn't look at me or say anything and walks out again .. after more than 25 minutes standing there without a hello or I will be with you as soon as I can, I left .! If there was a mirror in the store I would have checked to see if I were invisible !! read more

I found myself with broken locks this morning and needed help urgently. Elite Lock Service came within 30 minutes and fixed the three locks perfectly, without trying to convince me that I needed new locks, etc. Within one hour, my door was ready to go, and I am so glad I called them. The price was reasonable for the work, and I didn't have to break my bank account. Thank you for the service.
