They always make good keys and if for any reason, the keys don't fit, you can bring them back and they'll fix them or refund your money.

Showed up 5 mins before opening and owner(?) took me no problem. In and out in minutes to have the battery replaced in 2 car key fobs.

Came by just 20 minutes before they were closing to see if they could program my vehicle key and the remote. They guy was so amazingly helpful and helped me right away. 1/3rd the cost of previous locksmiths I've used in Jersey City/NYC; Genti even even offered to come at the moment and charge the same rate, when other locksmiths I've used tacked on a hefty premium for 'emergency' same day service. The job was done professionally and in a timely, affable manner. Most locksmiths rush out right after the job. He explained what was wrong with the previous lock installation and schooled me on electronic locks/etc on his own time for free which I appreciated given I do plan to upgrade to e-keys soon. Everytime I called the store, someone picked up asap, they have a storefront too post-covid with reasonable prices which is nice. Whether a tenant or owner, the price is unmatched. If you're a landlord in the area, it's a no brainer, I'd drive an extra town or three over for given how efficient they are. read more

Had a strange experience this morning of getting locked IN my condo. Being handy, I tried to fix the problem myself but it was beyond my grasp. Cue Genti (probably misspelling that.) He arrived 30 mins after calling and not only opened the door for me (freedom!) but also great conversation and mechanical insight as he replaced the door knob. Highly recommend. Terrific customer service. Explained what I needed over the phone and sent some pictures of my door and current locks via email. I was provided an estimate right away and they did not attempt to upsell me on something that I didn't need (they recommended that I pick up a certain part from Home Depot). The service was scheduled for a few days later and Benny arrived on time (wearing a mask), took care of the work quickly and efficiently, and then neatly cleaned up all of the dust and debris. I needed to unlock a safe and they got the job done in 5 minutes and made me a spare for super cheap. They were very helpful and nice.

Benny gave me an initial quote over the phone to change 2 locks in our building. The first appointment was canceled due to a conflict. My brother ended up installing one of the two locks. A 2nd appointment was set up for the other lock. During the appointment, Ganti (sp?) gave me a number of different options for the lock replacement and explained everything clearly. We ended up choosing the simplest solution. Price was less than the initial quote. Good communications in general. Solid service. Will use them again. Happy customer. read more

Today I had an appointment at a location near Elite Lock Service. My driver dropped me off and there was no body at the location. I had no cash, no phone, or any idea where I was. I walked up the block at went in to Elite. I asked the gentleman if he could help me. He uses his phone twice to help me locate either my ride or my destination. He was so kind, I know this is not business related,but to have kind staff makes a business. Should I ever need your service I know where to find dependable people. New to North Bergen and we visited Elite Lock Smith to make copies of our keys. The service was fast and Damion was pleasant to work with. They were able to make copies of every key. Great service! Damian was very helpful and really made an effort to solve my problem. I had tried to get my key copied at Walmart and Lowe's, but they didn't have the program. The key was not standard, but he figured out a way to make one anyway. He did this quickly and seemed like he really wanted to help me. Terrible way to do business or even treat a person.. I walked into an empty store to get a couple of keys made .. After 10 minutes the technician came in, and without a word to me , sat down at the key machine and was working .. still not a word .. he then got up and walked out again .. after a few more minutes he came back in and the same thing all over again .. still never acknowledged I was even there ! Now a third occurrence, he comes in, doesn't look at me or say anything and walks out again .. after more than 25 minutes standing there without a hello or I will be with you as soon as I can, I left .!
