All of the roofing companies were quite busy due to recent storm damage. Some didn't return calls, and we even had a couple no-show on scheduled estimates. Matt K, in contrast, was extremely responsive and reliable. We left a message on a weekend, and he called back that same weekend, and scheduled a time for an estimate within a few days. He came for the estimate at the appointed time, and promptly emailed us a detailed, thorough, and competitive bid. He then answered all of our questions thoroughly and knowledgeably about the proposed work and process. Matt was easy to talk with, explained about roofing in terms that we could readily understand, did not up-sell, and provided honest evaluations and recommendations from his decades of roofing experience. Shortly after that, while we were still evaluating our options, we had a leak concern. In response, Matt was able to juggle schedules to fit our replacement in quickly. His crew (led by Brendan), was efficient and careful, and were able to complete the tear-off and replacement in a day, even though winds reached up to 20 mph some of the time. They also left our property neat and tidy. Someone who saw them work told me that he would without reservation "heavily suggest using them again!!!" (His three exclamation marks, not mine). As a bonus, Matt also has a good eye for color. We went with his color recommendation, and really finds that it looks nice against the colors we have. True customer service! We had a new roof and gutters with shields put on by them 12 years ago, and…read moreall has been fine. We live in a wooded area, and at some point a branch had damaged part of a 28 foot section of the gutters, bending the gutter and gutter guard which keeps debris out. I noticed this when clearing leaves and debris off the roof. I gave them a call, hoping that I could get by with just replacing this one section. One of their guys came out (forget the name), started inspecting flashing and other things and I started to dread the list of all the wrong things he was going to find. After a few minutes, he told me that everything else looks good, and that he could straighten the gutter, straighten the guard, and secure it better. He did this.. took maybe total of 20 minutes. When I asked what the cost was, he told me no charge. Cannot even tell that the gutter had been damaged. Can't get better service and care than that. Highly recommended

Just don't. And get an attorney first, to write your own contracts for your project. If you don't, you'll need to hire one anyways!

We hired Knight Construction this past summer to complete a total kitchen remodel project with…read morecustom cabinets, new hardwood fooring and the resurfacing an old brick fireplace with stone. We asked Knight if they could complete the work in just six short weeks as my family (my husband and three kids under the age of five) were moving into a small apartment for three months due to timing differences in our close dates. They accommodated the request with the caveat that the bulk of the work would be completed by move in and that finishing/warranty work may need to extend another week or two. Upon signing the contract, we immediately began working with Kristin, the designer, to ensure fixtures, flooring and other items were selected and available upon closing on the new home. The day after signing the close papers, the dumpster was delivered and Jeff our project manager began demolition with his crew. I won't tell you that the project was seemless in every instance and without a couple of minor glitches. But I can tell you that in ever instance, Gary and team worked with us immediately to either remedy the issue or help us find the best solution to accommodate our budget concerns and ensure our move in date wasn't jeopardized. Over the past 10 years, we have remodeled two homes and built a third. I have used three different Companies for each of these projects and I would without question hire Knight Construction back to do another project. Over the short few months we worked with Gary and his team, he always kept his word and remedied situations that weren't up to either his quality or ours, which were minimal. I appreicated the fact that three months after the project, I'm still able to call and ask him to look at something I think got missed in the warranty period. I thought my house was outside of the hail damage area, but another neighbor 6 blocks from me had turned in a successful claim for hail damage from that storm. To my untrained eye, I saw no damage on my roof whatsoever, but thought it might be a good idea to have someone inspect my roof just in case. I am very glad I worked with Brandon Turner, and I was greatly impressed with him and All Around. First off, Brandon spent over an hour inspecting and documenting my entire roof. Then he took the time to show me and explain to me what he had found (and there was a lot). I couldn't believe the amount of damage that I had missed, but that Brandon saw clearly and properly documented. Unlike many other roofing vendors, he wasn't pushy at all but just the opposite. He was patient with me, he took the time to explain things to me, and then let me make the decision of what was the right decision for me. I was very impressed with the level of detail he took to document the damage done to my roof. I then turned it in as a claim to my insurance company and Brandon and All Around took care of everything else! Brandon and All Around did all the work and communications with my insurance company. Then they installed a high quality and great looking roof with the extras we wanted (vented roof-cap, lifetime shingles, etc.). Also impressive was how fast they got the roof installed once they started working on it. The roof looks great! Brandon was very responsive, and either picked up on the first ring when I called him, or returned my call within an hour if I ever hit his voice mail. I ended up getting an entire new roof, 100% paid by insurance (less my deductible). All Around did all the negotiating with the insurance company. I also paid no up charges, no hidden fees, no junk fees, etc. at all by All Around. They did what they said they were going to do, for the price agreed upon, and they did a great job of it. They also did an EXCELLENT job cleaning up afterward (better than I had expected). I was so happy with my roof that I referred my mother-in-law to Brandon and All Around and they did her roof. Now she rants and raves about how nice her roof looks and how nice a guy Brandon is. If you're looking for a good, professional, local, established company that will do a great job and at the agreed upon price, you should work with Brandon Turner and All Around. Some rotted boards had to be removed from my siding, but they consulted with me, showed me the damage, and explained it would cost a little more. I 100% do not recommend Dave or his company to anyone…read more Dave came out to our house to service our AC via a home warranty contract we had. He claimed our unit was not serviceable and that it MUST be replaced because the refrigerant/coolant was leaking (I'm not an HVAC person so not sure which term is preferred). Unfortunately Dave doesn't do well with technology and couldn't submit the proper paperwork to the warranty company electronically. Instead he took the $100 and never finished filing the paperwork or completing the job. Thankfully, after waiting over a month of no AC and Dave's incompetence, my neighbor asked his HVAC company to inspect our AC unit out of courtesy (mid summer in 100+ degree heat) and they found that there was NO leak at all and the only issue was a bad capacitor. It took less than $20 and less than 10 minutes for them to replace the bad capacitor!!! It's been running PERFECT for the last 2+ months. I watched Dave the entire time and he NEVER CHECKED the capacitor. He took 2 seconds looked at the line and CLAIMED we had a leak that was irreparable. My family spent over a month without AC because Dave wanted to replace our unit for $4500. I guess making money is more important to Dave than helping people in his community, of which he claims to support so much.
