Not only have they saved me hundreds of dollars, but I received extra coverage at the same time. They have even looked for extra policy discounts for me that my old agency forgot to add. The agents really do care, and it's hard to remember that each person has a different experience. I've never had issues with them, and I've been with them 5 years. Every time I call up to the office, an agent always answers. If I have a question, I can reach out by phone, text, or email. If one of the newer agents do not have a specific answer to my question, they will reach out to their supervisor or manager and get back to me that day or the next business day. I barely knew a lick about Insurance before switching to Donaldson and Emerson with Erie, and the agents educate me on my policies every time I call. They helped not feel dumb to ask a question, and they were patient with me. It seems like They would rather be correct than to misinform the customer. Please do not let 2 personal bad reviews from months ago turn you away. Give them a try! I went from AllState for 10 years to Erie with Donaldson and Emerson, and I truly am a happy customer, and trust in this agency.

As Mr. Emerson shouted like a crazed, un-medicated psych patient, called me an A-hole and advised me that he would "have the last laugh". I simply called to cancel a policy and was lectured on how the MVA would handle a cancellation and they demanded to know the status of my vehicle and where our tags have been turned in ?????? Despite repeating myself several times that I am not interested on being advised she persisted. Dana did the same and when I expressed I didn't need to be advised on the matter and didn't like the condescending tone of Julia she again began to explain to me what happens when I cancel a policy. Really a bizarre group and arrogant behavior. Instead of honoring specific requests they lecture you and talk over and overall lack common considerate communication or responsiveness. I have friends and family members experience the same situation. Poor advice to try and convince you to retain unneeded policies. Do yourself a favor and move along to another Agent.

He handled all of the paper work, he handles all of the phone calls and all of the hassles that insurance has. He also was unbiased about telling me what insurance I truly needed. Sometimes that means you pay more but you don't want to pay less and find out that you aren't covered. When I have had a claim he was on top of it and lead to getting quick payment without my policy going through the roof. I have also converted several employees of mine to using his service too. It is like they get a raise when they give him a call since he saves them so much money.
